My ex rescued a lot of animals while being an animal control officer aka "dog catcher". A couple were Staffordshire terroirs, and one was a red nose golden eye. She took to me and when we broke up, I gave my word to take care of her. She lived 16 years and helped me through some really bad times. These dogs have so much love and I appreciate all of them.

I remember seeing her on insta, and EVERYONE immediately said “That’s her baby, you need to foster fail him now.” You could just see the love. Two souls in need, bonded and found each other, now neither will ever be alone.

I have a Pitt that is now 7 years old and is my ESA as he has been with me through the passing of my wife and mother within months of each other. Ko (my Pitt) has helped me through these hard times better than any ‘Hooman” could do.

I am so sorry for you. We lost my little sister over 60 years ago. My dad was in Army at time after 2 wars and losing her he adopted and loved our strays. His way of atonement, I guess, My mom , hard to say. I don’t think she lost much of her ability to cope with life. Please try your best to cope with it and reach out to others if that will help you. You’ll be in my prayers.

I adopted a GSD who's name is King. I was told not to adopt him since he's too, 'aggressive' but in reality he was just scared. It took a month for him to eventually open up to me but now, 6 months later he's the happiest gsd in the world. Honestly when he laid his head on my lap my brain just shut down and I wanted to cry in pure joy.
Since the first time I had a pittie, I've never been interested in any other breed. Their love knows no bounds and they are so empathetic to their family. They know when you are hurting and what you need to feel better. They have the sweetest smiles, and they have the best smushy faces EVER!
Who cannot love this guy? He's so adorable!💜

I lost my partner a year ago and i've taken her little doggo under my wing and he's like my son i never had. I never had any kids but he is like my little boy. He truly has saved my life after her passing. If it wasn't for him i would not be sitting here today. 🐶🐶🐶

When I went to the pound I was looking for a small dog which didn’t cast!!! However……..there I fell in love with a 5yr old 40kg golden Labrador ❤ She really rescued me, gave me the courage to leave an abusive relationship and was there when both my parents died giving me the strength to carry on with life! She (and her 1yr old brother) is the love of my life, my world, my everything 🥰🥰

I've always been drawn to the ones other people don't want myself. Don't know what I'd do without my cats to take care of. They're my near constant companions.
Had 2 literally from birth & they're very bonded to one another too. They get to into grooming wars on who's grooming who. It's hilarious!
Plus I took in a senior kitty that used to belong to a friend when his humans needed to give him up.
I just had to let the universe know I'd only consider a third cat if it was very special kitty & orange. Got me a Tigger for my 40th birthday. Best present ever. Especially now that the other two are accepting him finally. Kinda packed in bed though.
Love this story. For me - I have an obsessive, anxious, overbearing, little pittie girl who was on the brink of death when I rescued her. She is so demanding of attention that I figured I was just destined to be single for the rest of my life, as I did not believe that I would ever be able to find a man who would willing/able to tolerate her. And then I met a man who fell madly in love...with my dog. And we're all living happily ever after.

Or why LITERALLY LAST MONTH in Staten Island, a two year old girl, a 13 year old boy and a 19 year old girl, were all brutally mauled by Pit Bulls?! Or maybe even ALSO LAST MONTH, why an 11 year old boy in Maraval, was killed by a Pit Bull?! Or guess what?! Is that why ALSO LAST MONTH, yet another 11 year old, an 11 year old girl in Vistabella, was also mauled to death by a Pit Bull?! Oh but wait... There's more! Is that also why, AGAIN LAST MONTH, a 2 year old boy in Killeen was also mauled to death by a Pit Bull?! Or maybe is that why that 1 year old toddler in Noida, was killed, mauled and had his intestines pulled out all over the street by stray Pit Bulls, ALSO LAST MONTH?! Hmm... I guess ''Pitties'' really are loving nanny dogs with over 55% of the 4,6 million reported dog bites each year (in U.S alone!), 73% of all reported dog attacks (in U.S alone!) and for over 65% of all lethal attacks (in U.S alone!) from 2010 to 2020! I GUESS WE SHOULD ALL ADOPT ONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

This was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. This is what my dog does for me. All of a sudden, with them by your side, the day becomes brighter and easier to bear with every cute look they give you and every snuggle you share.

@@elduderino7767 she kinda documents her chronical pain and shares advice about how she handles it. She doesn't always talk about it, especially on social media, but she does podcast and wrote a book even, if I'm not wrong. It's just her journey, etc.
@@elduderino7767 people write about their illnesses and experience all the time , Carrie Fisher wrote a book about her struggles being Bipolar , it's called Postcards from the Edge, it was also made into a movie.

Dogs are angels. We got our Dane Rosie 2 months before my mom died. I dont know how I would have made it through all the nonsense without her. We lost Ro this year and my heart is completly shattered.

When I lost my dog I swore I couldn't bear that heartbreak again, but she left such a huge hole in my life that I now have another rescue, totally different personality from my last pooch but he lights up my days too. Where would we be without them?
I absolutely love 💕 stories like this. I could never tire of hearing how puppies and dogs have had such wonderful impacts of peoples lives and I believe that it benefits both equally.
People who foster care these beautiful souls are super heroes. I would never be able to foster care I will get attached from the first time I lay my eyes on them and letting them go would be heartbreaking 💔 and I am not good at goodbyes 😢

Me and my wife have had toy poodles for over 30 years, when they pass on, we mourn and the only cure to a healing heart is to start with a new one. You are lucky to have him, it is the same story with ours. At first it was a birthday gift for our 16-year-old daughter with lots of objections from dad. But after about a month it became dad's baby. We have photos of all our babies to remind us of what life is all about. After our two daughters left home, we are still raising our third baby and believe me he knows he is the king of the house at only 5 pounds. It keeps our heart and minds young, and he is a blast every day. You and him are so lucky to have each other.

We found our angel 11 years ago.
She saved me too. Went through very difficult time in life and she pulled me through . She too had health issues but was a real spirit and personality .
Our little pug managed to get to 1 day before her 11th birthday then she grew her wings and went to the rainbow Bridge. It totally broke us , I immediately went into several health issues and honestly felt like she's broken my heart. Thankfully my partner pulled me along until I could start to feel again.
I'll always miss our baby .
Love them whilst you can as much as you can they're sent here to save us and make us stronger.
Rip to all our angels that came here to work on us , they're irreplaceable .
