12 miles inland in Hialeah & watching with an old & manual Voltage 500 3D, up in the Air.
Mystery boat with steering issues… the nut holding the helm was loose😉
It looked like a washing machine out there! The woman that slammed into the seat, made my back hurt, lol.
Blows my mind that no one wears life jackets. Life is more important than looking “cool”
Give a rest Karen
@@robertbiolsi9815 give a rest what? You should learn English before you try to insult someone 🤦♂️
Natural selection. The more intelligent survive.
Then they ride on the bow 😂
Well it's a close second anyway. ;
Not only would I not ride in the bow of that boat, I wouldn't ride in that boat in those conditions.
I would station my boot in a decent harbour with a decent entrance.
On the Great Lakes cruising in white caps and big rollers we say, “It’s a mite dusty out there”.
Meaning, we took some pounding and gunnel washing.
Those captains should trim their crafts’ nose up more and quarter cut waves on coming and in following seas adjust power to hang on save backside. Low power plowing through and nosing into on coming and slow roller coaster surfing on following seas produces a wet and unpleasant ride
Craft size and matching power plus seamanship discernment makes a difference .
That, sir, is the most down to earth answer ever posted. Thank you, Cap, for telling some of these salt water boaters how to handle rough seas. I boat on Lake Michigan, and your synopsis of vessel handling in bumpy waves is spot on. Thank you!
I’m actually in this video with the gls 38 and it was actually hell. We were instructed to not go back into the inlet and instead go to the next inlet south. Stay safe out there.
That Sea Hunter looks like a really nice hull. And the way she took that big wave - Awesome!
Those have great hulls tbh, they punch right through Haulover too
if you watch in slow motion - the cap separated from the hull on that slap , towards the front of the boat...... no good.
that was the sea hunt, not the sea hunter. different builder , the hunter is way more capable.
The first bow lady was taking that white spray in the face like a champ
I'm not sure she would like the way you phrased that...
I think those were two dudes and their white sprays.
yeah she was!
The ocean waves are wonderful. rocking the ship
Rory is the best in the business! Super awesome you got teamed up with him!
I'm not sure that even Sophia in the Blue Top Legend would want to be out there in these conitions.
I wouldn’t be too sure about that. The Blue Top Legend are a couple of fearless but crazy young ladies. But, damn, they sure can drive a boat.
Great Video keep it up! ❤
Mystery boat is a Wajer, probably a 55 with closed bridge
Good eye, Ben! 👍
Boston whalers guys. I chanage you all to the best enter and exit of any inlet in south Florida. I have a flats boat skiff. 1,000 bucks gos to winner. 3 enters and 3 exits. Fans vote ! Hit me up if anyone’s down
I was guessing a Wajer as well. 👍👏
That Costa is my dream boat.......love the way they ride
Funny that's what I thought about the Blue Top Legend. ;
The inlet we have here in California seldom gets as choppy , but if there is a south swell pushing big waves the boats have to jump some wave sets before they break , the surfers love it, they can ride waves across the whole front of the inlet.
I'm reminded of the George Costanza line, "The sea was angry that day, my friends."
Hells yeah I'd take that bow ride. With plenty of cushions. LOL Watching from Marietta, Ohio.
I get sea sickness and I would probably get sick before I got to open water LOL.
Amazing stabiltiy
I wouldn't go out there with this turbulence! Seasick in the first minute!
THAT IS A MILLION DOLLAR BOAT??!?! WOW.. how damn crazy is this world getting!!!!
Absolutely! Not to mention how much down and how much a month to fuel your craft! ;
@@bailey9r rediculous. Mankind shoukd have never agreed to feed inflation! Geeze.
@@yellowdayz1800Oh WE didn't agree to it THEY just wrote checks out of thin air, that is what causes inflation. How much have we sent UKraine just in the last year??
@@bailey9r I don't know..
@bailey9r how much have we spent on Hunter's laptop in last 5 years
Looks like you need your loofah and your favourite soap in those open bow boats
Watching from Portsmouth UK, I’m a boater myself so always amazed why people go out in such conditions …I’d at least wait for either low/or top of the tide to stand a fighting chance 😮
Hay que ser muy cabeza dura para salir así con esas condiciones 🫢🫢
Watching from South Jersey.
If only those boaters had asked the commenters advice the world would be full of expert sailors.
I have a 40' trawler and I would think twice about heading out in these conditions! But she is my home.
I used to have an older Luhrs Sports Fishing Boat just like that. Mine was 47 '. Tight Lines. Captain Keith.....
Gee, that looks like so much fun...if your idea of fun is ruptured/ compressed discs in your back (trust me, ruptured discs are *not* fun). I wouldn't want to ride a cruise ship thru those waves.
18 knots against a running tide through an inlet is a recipe for serious conditions. Every boat owner preparing to go out into the ocean in an open vessel should be checking tide and wind conditions and adjusting their schedule accordingly. It's absolutely insane that the only person we saw wearing a pfd was the tow boat US captain.
We need a bigger boat!
Where do they go when they get outside the jetty’s. All I see is white caps for miles .
IT ISN'T SO MUCH THE BOAT AS IT IS THE CAPTAIN WITH THE CONDITIONS OUT THERE!
I don't know but there's this wonderful new invention called a life jacket. You can wear it in conditions such as these and it is a safety measure. Apparently, word hasn't gotten there yet.
Where?
La-Z-Boy, just West of the Kitchen. A few hundred clicks this side of the big pond. Safely outside of the earthquake zone, sunny 68 degrees.
They need to construct a breakwater simple
More speed Scotty.
None of these boats were going fast enough😅
I think the mystery boat is called a Reefmaker
The mystery boat almost did a remake of the POSEIDON.
With those kinds of swells and one outboard, you are asking for trouble. But what do I know after spending half my life on water.
Watching from Bay St. Louis Mississippi we wear Life Jackets, life is much more important then looking Kool….
Beach combing must be lucrative around there.
Wave Height >= 30% of Boat Length . I see a lot of Lake boats ( low Bow ) go out of Haulover when is ruff that shouldn't be out there def
Wajer 55 mystère
Besides that mystery boat having a loose nut, it was wishing they had a Carolina Flair on the bow!
The black boat could use some flare as well!
Bad seamanship runs rapid in south Florida.
Yes these boats are made strong, but i don't know why that black boat had the pass through open in those conditions. BTW you must have a crazy strong drone to be able to fly it in 18 mph winds.
It can handle upto mid 20's before we lose "full" control.
These people have more money than sense!
Where the heck are people going on a day like that? No pleasure cruise and sea sickness likelyvonce your out on the water
Where do these people think they are going? You can see the white water way back at the bridge.
Silly passengers crushing their spines !!
Never ride in the bow in that stuff! Why people don’t stay on the power is beyond me.
Watching from New Orleans Louisiana, love Wavy Boats Thanks for sharing. Gorgeous boats but I don’t think those behind the wheel are knowledgeable enough to go with the Flow of the water, the boats are but not the Captain…. WEAR LIFE JACKETS 🌊
2:18 Isn't black a no-no... seem like it would get burning hot when there's no wind.
killer for man and machine.....no, half the boats shouldn't be in those conditions...and...why the hell would they want to be ?
Two things come to mind - 1. Why the hell would you go out in that washer machine - Period! 2. Evidence why I would never buy a used boat from Florida - just some pretty dumb ass captains...and I am very reluctant to call them captains!
What drone are you using?
Just stay the hell home if you know you're just going to flake out and turn around.
Never take waves in a seated position. Your legs are designed to be shock absorbers.
8:22 SS Minnow
This is Boston Whaler day.....
What was the last boat?
If it isnt capts error who's is it?
Im always looking for a fun way to die so I would def ride that bow vestless!!!!!😮
First guy is lucky to still have his boat and his ass.
White boat is a Wajer 55 Hardtop.
Why are boats going out in this?? I don't get it
Does it calm down once put? No life jackets
Should have life jackets on since Capt made stupid decision to go out in that.
I am jealous of ya'll who get to boat year round, lol.
Don't be jealous. Move south and make it happen.
@@Livinghighandwise Unfortunately, it's a matter of moving to a different country rather than just moving south 😭.
Come down to South Texas.
boca inlet can get rough and a lot of boaters dont follow the advisories. captains should do their homework and not jeopardize their vessels and the lives on their vessels. Stay safe and lets have fun in our beautiful waters.
The ego on these guys is amazing. They should see this and turn around.
Is those inlet really shallow? 😮
Whyyyyy???
It is not the size of the boat. People just have to realize it will not be a pleasant or comfortable ride on days like this. Note that the cat (Costa) had the smoothest and driest ride.
A million bucks? I just watched the Super Bowl. A million is chump change.
Amateurs! I could pass through that inlet in a row boat... 😂
Sea Hunt : a back + a flag of USA missing
Not very clever some of these boaties😱
I'm not going to condemn all boats because a few captains are in over their heads.
Like cars, these boats are much more capable than their crews. Like the lady who hurt her back, the boat was fine, she's not.
😮😮 I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND PEOPLE! Most people seem to be Oblivious to all the dangerous things they're doing. In South Africa we don't have many rescue boats., so you're basically on your own if you do something stupid.
At 5:17 the woman may have suffered serious spinal injuries, my mother was almost paralyzed in an accident similar to this, it would be prudent for the channel to raise awareness rather than just gaining viewers on this type of content.
Why would anyone go out in those conditions ? don't tell me because it's there, no PFD, subject your boat to internal destruction, your boat only following your desires, trying to make you happy, more respect for your boat even if you don't have any for yourself !
Some people have smooth brains, that’s why
Why are there NO FINES FOR NO LIFEJACKETS
I don't think Haulover is nearly as bad as Boca.
One thing for certain these videos prove is that having money doesn't automatically mean people are smart. Why would anyone want to go outside into an ocean full of 'white caps'? At rest or underway, unless you own an ocean liner, it's going to be completely miserable.
Is there anything known as "too rough to go out" hey wavy boats do some of these kaps care about themselves farles passengers.. having a boat out in such condition becomes a weapon to anyone onboard... So my question is WHY?
A boat with an open bow should not sail into waves like this.
No
Like I've said before. I would not buy a used boat from anyone who berthed their boat or yacht in this harbor. This inlet puts years' worth of abuse on a boat in months.
What is it that all this so called 'captains' don't understand the most basic rule for crossing a bar or river mouth .... do NOT cross it on a strong run out tide. Water is pouring out, hitting waves coming in, and the result is big steep pressure waves. The same place on a RUN IN tide, with all the water going in the same direction may be as flat as a pancake.
putz in everglades boat should not be exiting that inlet with those waves...let me add to my comment, nobody should be going out in those conditions unless you need to...
These rivers do not seem to be strong enough to defeat the captains
Is a fish really worth tempting fate with these conditions ? and maybe if some of these moron operators read a tidal chart they could actually enjoy time out on the water without injury.
I can see no reason to be out on a boat in wind and ruff water like that boating is fun , getting pounded like that is not fun! Turn on your VHF radio the coast gaurd will broadcast weather conditions and small craft advisory! Winds like this means stay home watch TV not go risk your life to catch fish
