I live in Tulsa and I really enjoyed the video that you made. I also have been to the Natural falls state park as well. It is a shame that you didn't make it to the bottom to check out the falls. It's really quite a sight to behold. Of course, you got the gist of it. I'm sure it didn't help that it was raining so much! Good luck in Arkansas!
Being that I live in Oklahoma, and am 95 miles northeast of Tulsa on Grand Lake, a tidbit of information about Tulsa. Tulsa sits on Historic Route 66 that runs from Chicago to Santa Monica. In nearby Commerce is the boyhood home of Yankee Great, Mickey Mantle, north of Miami. Next time you run through northeast Oklahoma, try Grand Lake. We have ample camping sites on the lake.
@@shebamaree9026 I noticed you came down US-177 to the Cimarron Turnpike out of Kansas. A good route out of Wichita to Tulsa is US-400 to US-75 just south of Neodesha. There is Ralph Mitchel Zoo in Independence just off Oak Street. Its free and open to the public. I went to high school in Independence Kansas.
Born and raised here. I cant help but giggle when I see people from out of state stopping to see the Tulsa driller. 😂 Skiatook lake isn't a bad drive to tulsa either. Should have walked down and around at Natural Falls. Thats where they filmed "Where the Red Fern Grows."
I just came upon your video’s and now I’m watching them constantly. My wife and I have an rv and use it quite often. I’m impressed with all the places you go and are willing to go to all the attractions and share with us. Thank you so very much for all your efforts. We are retired and are going to try and sight see as much as you do. We are in our seventies (me ) and sixties ( wife) and have some limitations but we’re not complaining. Again , thank you so much for the videos. You’re our heroes.
There is one thing worse than hitching up in 27 degrees in the rain: having your rig winterized, covered in snow, and waiting to get out again! Great video as always.
I loved the this video and the koi pond was one of my favorite parts. I also loved how you filmed downtown it looks so beautiful! Love from Tulsa and remember to mask up and stay safe!
Also another fun place if you go a little further north east in Disney OK, it’s called Little Blue Hole. Beautiful crystal clear water, it is breathtaking! Not to many ion Grand Lake, which is also beautiful!
I recently visited tulsa for my winter break and i loved it! My dad & i are huge fans of the outsiders movie, so we did go around town and saw the filming locations including the house😁 We loved it so much & cant wait to go back once it is warmer!!
If your ever in the Tulsa area again, I would recommend checking out boondockers welcome sites. There are several much closer to town. Thanks for showing a little part of our town, come back when the weather is nicer! We have tons of paved trails for cycling. Frank Loyd Wright, price tower is not far away in Bartlesville. TJ you should surprise Brie with a night stay in a room designed by Frank Loyd Wright! Talk about a relationship move. Safe travels.
TJ, stellar commentary 😂! Brodie is pretty smart, he gets treated like royalty while you guys slog in the heat, mud, rain, sleet, snow and ice 😆. All he has to do is smile and be cute. Great video!
Watching early in the morning and a couple of LOL moments!! 😂 The Gathering Place tho 😳 What an amazing gift to the folks in Tulsa - we’d love to visit sometime for sure. Keep the laughs coming guys - love your entertaining vlogs!! 👍
Listen you two, TJ’s comment about “more water coming out of roof gutters” sent us to the floor laughing. That is easily the funniest remark we’ve EVER heard on UA-cam!! We were rolling! We watched it more than once! Good work to you both!! I’m just gonna have to become a Patreon now!
We just found your channel and we love it so much! Sorry you visited Natural Falls in such a rainy season. It's one of our favorite places to camp in that area. The falls and the trails are beautiful in better weather.
You guys should’ve swam in the Arkansas river! It’s soooo refreshing! Plus, sometimes you’ll step on the right hypodermic needle and get a little buzz!
You guys should come to the lake of the Ozarks in South central Mo. when you come to the mid west. It’s the largest tourist destination in the mid west. Huge lake. Huge State Parks...
I hope you get to stop at the Diamond State park and get to go looking for your Diamond It would make a great video You might find a big one. Its a lot of fun great camping at the park
Next time you come through, highly recommend Cherry Hill Park. It’s a mobile home/RV park. Very clean, has a pool and right on the corner of HWY 75 and IH44/66 :) Minutes from downtown!
Oh Henry candy bars were invented by Tom Henry who was from nearby Arkansas City, built the candy factory in Dexter. Dexter is also known for the first place to find naturally occurring Helium and nonflammable natural gas.
Guess I should have watched the whole thing before commenting. lol We were neighbors for a night. lol Natural Falls is one of my favorite places to visit. (in Spring or Summer) lol The falls are way cooler from the bottom actually.
Northwest Arkansas is beautiful. Hope you are able to explore it in detail. Remember, it is a Natural and Fayetteville just happens to be my hometown. 🤗🤗🤗🇺🇸
We are at fist like your crazy to do a hike in the rain like that, but a 1/4 mile was worth it... love how you’re showing areas of the USA that others are skipping over! Chasing RV Sunshine ☀️ Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

T.J. is so funny! He reminds me of my cousin, who had me laughing whole time around him when we visited!! P.S. Love your sweet dogs!! I just found your channel first time with the Tulsa visit!! Keystone lake covered the old town of Keystone when lake was built. I talked to a lady in 1990s who was 100yrs old,she had been born & raised there, her parents farm was covered with the water. Same way with Beaver lake over by Rogers Ark. Man was going to rule the world i heard from little town that was covered Place called Mont Ne.can google.
Hello Embracing Detours! Fellow full-timers here (Maria and Waylon), currently in Atlanta, GA heading through Tulsa next week on the way to an extended stay near Phoenix Arizona. We planned on making one brief stop while in Tulsa, but now you two have gave us some things to consider checking out. Want to thank you for that. Are there any of the places that you showed on video that did not have a parking space for a half ton pickup and 28ft travel trailer? I know I could look at google maps satellite view, but I'd trust yalls opinion 😁 TIA, maybe we'll see yall passing by in our travels as well 👋
I’m sure your reaction to that waterfall had a lot more to do with having just lived through a week of rotten weather, but of course it’s all relative. I’m from western Oregon and when a friend and I visited iceland and saw their waterfalls I thought that if Multnomah Falls were in Iceland they wouldn’t even have bothered to name it.
Thank you, I love your channel. You have a great laugh that warms the spirit. I have learned so much through your video, I can’t wait to try some of these place!
Very, very entertaining 👏 😀, you guys just crack us up laughing, that park looked amazing. Bree should write a book 📖 titled, HOW TO COMMUNICATE WHEN IN A RELATIONSHIP, Chapter#1, I will tell you where I want to go, and you will take me there and you will enjoy it.. Chapter#2, I will tell you what to say, and you will say it, TRY IT.... LOLOLOLOL, great video🤪🤪🤣🤣
Such a cute couple! A tip for you for a far faster and safer way to change a tire, get a set of simple tire ramps and a cordless 1/2" impact wrench. I carry them on on my double axel trailer and can change a tire in about 10 min. Then you have ramps to do an oil change, and can also be used to level the trailer.
So cool to see y'all in my backyard. I had a feeling when you were in Wichita you might make it by here. Can't believe you didn't go to Woolaroc or the Big Blue Whale!!!
Dang now that is an epic city park. 400+ million invested is amazing..for a park?!? That seems wild but love the thought that someone is passionate enough to invest in the community and it’s future. Cool area and TJ is just following the wisdom of TLC who wrote...”don’t go chasing waterfalls..”😂🤣

We have a boondockers welcome location in Tulsa too! Actually there are lots around Tulsa. Probably the best way to visit Tulsa in an RV would be to stay at a boondockers welcome site.
"I've seen more water coming out of roof gutters" was great.

You missed the Praying Hands at ORU, and The Center of the Universe in downtown.
TJ has the patience of Job. Even the water dogs didn’t want to be out in that cold rain.
Our camping buddy's live in Bixby. Drive Safe
Poor TJ. Hitching up by himself in the rain and then picked on by Bri. You are a trooper! :) Safe travels
If you guys are in Arkansas, make sure you hit Devil's Den. Natural Falls is pretty close.

Looks like you drove right through my little town of Mannford on Lake Keystone about 20 miles west of Tulsa.
