Yay a new video! I was getting worried about you guys. I just discovered you a few months ago and I am watching every video from the beginning. I feel like I am there along with you and we are buddies lol. I recently watched the video where you had to say goodbye to Jules the cat. I balled my eyes out because It reminded me of my cat who lived to be 17 I had to say goodbye to her the same year. I have a dog now, she is my child since I don't have real kids like you guys. TJ, if you enjoyed that machine shop you need to stop at the Edison Machine Shop, well worth the stop in NJ during your travels.
I was to the Edison factory when I was a child and we lived in NJ. I thought it was amazing then. I would love to see it again!
Hey if you guys are interested and still in the langcaster area next week there is a place called Shady Maple not sure what town its in you will have to google it but on wednesday its all you can eat prime rib plus a huge buffet after 4pm. Last i was there it was 20 dollars a person but might have changed. If you go don't eat after breakfast food is very good.
Shady Maple is in East Earl: less than an hour from Hershey. You can check them out on YT too.
Unfortunately we've already moved on, but that buffet sounds amazing!

I just moved to Tennessee from Lancaster County Pennsylvania. I lived about 4 miles from the place where you bought the pie. Right next to it, is a good restaurant called Dienner's, my favorite buffet.
If you're going to get more shoofly pie, I would recommend you get it from bird-in-hand bakery. I like theirs better.

Oh, I forgot. The "Speed" bus was the first bus I drove when I started with the bus company. We called them Fishbowls because that was what they looked like.

Wow, Hershey, PA. Brings back some great memories. I was stationed just outside Hershey at Ft. Indiantown Gap and visited Hershey, a lot. Does downtown still smell like chocolate? Their street lights were in the shape of Kisses, alternating between wrapped and unwrapped. Mind you, I was there in '82 - '84.

Nice video. I grew up in the Hershey/Lebanon/Lancaster area prior to moving to FL in 2009. Beautiful country with lots of farms. Glad to see you tried the Shoo-fly pie. The name undermines the great taste. Hope the visit was beneficial to the pupper.

Where I'm from in Maryland, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania was the big vacation destination. I remember going to Dutch Haven, but I haven't been there since I was a teenager. It was really neat to see it again. That was probably also the last time I had shoofly pie (which is amazingly good). Good episode!
I used to go there as a teenager also, and it was a restaurant at that time. Now it's more of a souvenir shop.

The museum was pretty pretty neat cool to see the old cars. We've had the shoo fly pie before I thought it was more like a cake type.
There is shoo fly cake. It doesn't have pie crust and has more flour in it so it is not gooey like the pie. It's easier to make in a hurry than rolling out pie crust. My mom used to make it when we were kids.
The museum was great ! Wish we had known about Shoo-Fly cake, we'd have tried it too 😁

Great video guys, been to Hershey but didn't see the pie's.. We see you guys do a lot of boondocking, do you guys use a generator?
We have a 200 watt solar suitcase that we use most of the time, but we also carry a 2000 watt Honda generator for the rainy/cloudy days.

It’s kind a like pecan pie without the pecans, but not quite as sweet 🙂
How many miles do you got on the 7.3? Any major repairs? Injector cups? Oil pan?
We have 162,000 miles on our 7.3. Knock on wood we haven’t had any major issues other than a transmission due to poor workmanship. Great engine, no complaints.
Were you aware that one of the original Wally Byam Airstream rallies was in Hershey? My home town.
