Quick question, what brand of dust mask were you using?
R-Z Mask amzn.to/2MXaWw3
Add an air intake pipe next time you build your firepit / fireplace
DIY Creators such a diy is worth fit
Next time place concrete, water the concrete and then put painters plastic or better (mil thickness) over it. This keeps the moisture from escaping, way less chance of any cracks due to cure. I just poured 20 yards in my backyard, watered it daily with plastic over it for 3 days, came out perfect.
Best project yet!! You killed it on this one glen!
Looks like a firepit that would be at a million dollar house. Nice.
IGOTAJOP America you’ll be amazed on what millionaires have in there house
Blankets start at $500 just for the bed sheets I work on multimillion houses
I really appreciate how you go through the process of your builds and tell us about the problems you find or what you would do different the next time. Many videos skip those parts and I find that they are the details that make or break a project. You use very smart techniques and it helps to see the details of the steps. Awesome work and great videos!
Glen, that was super creative and probably equally as heavy 😂😂😂. Great project, brother!
Thanks man, it's around 450lb.
It is he said it was in the neighborhood of 400 to 450 pounds that's pretty heavy
Good shit buddy, like your vids...keep 'em comin'
Burn calory of couse
I really appreciate your creativity and clarity of explanation of the projects.
Closing on a home amd my wife was bummed that there was no fire pit. This will be perfect! Thank you for what you do sir!
Just love when I come across something worth watching. Phenomenal work my friend!
It's crazy how creative you are, whether it be your creations alone or your ideas on how to fix a problem you encounter during your build. Love this channel 😄👍
Glen! You are KILLING it dude! You keep busting out such creative projects. You've got such a creative mind.
Sometimes you can tell a hard working man, just by his craft, this is one of them
Officially one of my favorite channels now. Enjoying the creativity !
Отличная идея! Профессиональное исполнение. Спасибо за видео.
The stuff you do with concrete is impressive. I look forward to your videos every week.
Shot!! Ms Wilson was right about math after all!!!
Thank you, sir!
The aesthetic of the fire pit is just right! 🔥🔥 Still waiting for the One Million Glenn!!
Thanks, It will come in time :)
Good to see a brother's working together and doing things, great work! Keep it up 😎👍
Awesome project! Such a great use of the machine drum!
This is actually gorgeous. Love everything about it
My dad also found a washing machine drum on the street, so he just made a base for it and we've been using it as a camping fire put for years. The drilled holes on the side really let off a good amount of heat. Your concrete donut looks like it meshes well, cool project.
You’re a genius!!!!!! I binge watch your videos at least once every three months. Lol!!
Nice build Glen! and some cool concrete techniques.... I've been wanting to try that flow control as a plasticizer substitute for a while.
Looks beautiful, very modern and contemporary
Looks great I am from the United Kingdom and watching this has set me a task Thanks.
Keyboard Warrior
Me too!

Great idea with the router jig, smart dude. This is a great project it looks really good, it shows an imaginative approach to design .
Thanks, Raynola!
i mean, not exactly a new idea....
That was a really clever use for that drum, Glen. Well done
Ive had one of these b4 and the lip at the top is perfect for setting a cup of hot chocolate on. Great re purpose!
Two things I'd do to get that pit humming. Dig a couple of small channels under the pit on each side so air can be sucked in underneath. I'd use a couple of old barbeque grills to cover the holes so you don't trip into them. That air from underneath will stop it smoking so much out of the top and getting in your face. Also if you want to start it easily and burn it longer, fill the tub with big chunks of firewood, and start a small kindling fire on the top. Put the biggest bits on the bottom. The fire will start quickly and easily on top and will burn down into the pile taking a couple of hours to burn. Any smoke that forms will pass through the hot fire and get burnt rather than coming out the top. As kindling burns down, it will ignite the bottom bigger logs. Once it's roaring, you'll be able to simply drop big logs in from the top into the ember bed.
Despite of the weight, concrete is good subject for fire stuff. Its good you made it round.
👍👍👍
Man that looks good, this is why I love your channel and your creativity. You rock man!

Thats a great home project... thanks for the spark of ideas in my head
Great ingenuity. Very nice end result. Good job!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Seriously beautiful.
Really beautiful. Always concerned about the heat danger of standalone washer drum fire pits. You have solved my concern with this design. Thank you.
Keep doing your thing man I'm in Nigeria my father was killed here and he use to do what you do and see you doing some many creative things man your inspiring me to do his work and do more tnx man love your work like really creative
You did an awesome job! 👏🙌🙌🙌
Mad props to you!
Dude, that's amazing. Love it!
Some washer drums have a balancing medium in the rim. If you don't cut/drill into that part of the drum it can build up pressure and eventually vent violently. Definitely worth checking into. We used washing machine drums in Scouts for burn barrels and learned our lesson after the first one burst.
Hi, Noah here from Waller, Tx.
great job!!!! the pit looks great and very functional.
