This video is the best content. The clinics are vague. Like the post care lines up but they never say why which just leaves you in worry. For example you've said 72 hours is the key period for being able to rub them out. The clinics don't mention this so you're a nervous mess for longer than necessary.
I lost a few grafts in the first five days. Probably 4 or 5 in total. Just me being careless. But I still have the other 4695 left so I guess it won’t matter.
It's weird how many different instructions are found online. From not getting the hair wet for two weeks to regularly rinsing. As a doctor myself although internal medicine, I think yours makes the most sense and Ive been following it. Only slept longer with raised upper body, pure torture without a recliner. Next time I'd make sure to get one (and since I have only very sparse transplants since the area.was so large, there'll probably be a next time). Thank you so much! 11 days post op now and I'm feeling awesome, I don't think I'll still be losing something.
Right! My doctor told me to not do any form of washing until 3 weeks after the procedure. That sounds ridiculous because then the scabs would last a lot longer. Im currently on day 2 and I think my day 5 ill do a light wash with the baby shampoo as he instructed in the video.

The transplanted hair will never fall out if it has been taken from the correct donor area from the back of the scalp. Balding only occurs to hairs on the top of your scalp however I'm sure you have noticed on some bald people that that area does extend a little further down at the back. if you lose a few grafts (up to 10) on days 3-5 bc of slowly massaging the scalp to get rid of scabs (I know, should have been done with water and soap), will that damage the rest of the grafts that (visibly) remain in place? Anyone know when can you start to moisturise / oil your hair?
Doc looking good, what u been using??
if you lose a few grafts (up to 10) on days 3-5 bc of slowly massaging the scalp to get rid of scabs (I know, should have been done with water and soap), will that damage the rest of the grafts that (visibly) remain in place? Or should one be worried that the act of having dry massaged the recipient area, could have damaged the grafts?
You should never massage head until the 10th -14th day and that should be only when wet and washing
Imma straight guy but dr linkov is rocking the mr clean look ngl. He is looking dashing
What about the use of Minoxidyl ?
I fainted on my way out of hospital but it was due not to eating enough and long surgery
I heard shave donor after 1 month and trim top after 3 month???
Do i need to take finastride forever after a hair transplant?
Yes, if you want to prevent further hair loss (and don't get bad side effects)
When you do an FUE and take out the donor hair from the back, can you replace the donor area holes with beard hair in the same session?
Beards can sometimes be used as donor. You'd just skip taking hair from the back of the head in this instance.
@@jackoconnor21what if your beard has a different color than your head hair?
7:30 I have a question about the swelling. I am on day 3 after my hair transplant and as mentioned I am experiecing swelling above my eyebrows and temple areas. I am taking all the medication that has been mentioned, and on top of that I have been advised to put ice packs on the swollen areas. Honestly, I dont notice any sort of reduction in swellings using ice packs, and my doc has told me that too much swelling could potentially damage the transplanted graphs. I was wondering if that is true, since I have never heard of this before?
Hello , i ve the same feeling
After how many days the swelling was gone ?
Thanks
@@RedTriangle-b4w As for me, it took mine about 5 days to subside, and 7-8 days completely vanish.
@@RedTriangle-b4w By the way, icepacks are useless. Just take your prescribed medication and you should be fine.
@@chrisbale5640 ok thanks a lot

Im working construction and i need to wear hard hat at work i had hair transplant and i had 5 weeks off is that ok i start wearing hard had and its winter time now i need to wear winter hat under?
Sorry doc, my main takeaway from this was that I could potentially get some perc's. =P On a serious note, can you make a video on how to tell if topical minoxidil (TM) is working? Like, I didn't use any scientific method before starting TM and now I legitimately cannot tell if it is working. I'm willing to shave my head to measure my results, but again idk what scientific objective method to use. Plz help doc!
calm thyself! you just started using it today after breakfast
Do I see sideburns, Dr.?
