I didn't say it but I just looked at my bottle and saw that it was getting low.
I started on just 4-5 drops & it appears to have lowered both my blood pressure & resting heart rate by about 5 or more points each. Also greatly enhanced my endurance. Not exercise necessarily (that too) but my ability to get around & work all day without getting super fatigued. Previously, due to long COVID, I could only work part time & would literally be falling asleep in the car on the way home, which was super stressful. Great stuff.
My muscles feel a lot more sore after exercise when I take methylene blue though
@@MasterofPlay7 Could be that you're working a bit longer or harder than normal, causing more breakdown obviously. Otherwise, I don't see why that would be the case

It should be given to every bedridden person as it will prevent UTIs which are a constant problem for them. I worked in a hospital lab for 40 yrs and nursing home patients are constantly ill because of UTIs !

Thank you for clarifying this, as I've heard varying opinions on it, but no clear explanation either way. From personal experience, my systolic blood pressure always seems to be a little high (upper 120s to mid 130s) while my diastolic is almost always in the 70s, but nothing changes for the better or worse with my blood pressure while taking 15 mg of MB per day. However, I do notice many other benefits (better mental focus and energy when working out), so I plan to keep taking it ulness something changes for the worse.
Would it make sense to supplement with a nitric oxide like L-Citrulline while also supplementing with MB? I love the benefits of NO which makes it a tough trade off
It boosts NO on it's own already so, if you want. But there are probably better ways to spend your money
Methylene blue is an electron acceptor.
And its also a donor
MB elevates α-ketoglutarate. α-ketoglutarate stimulates NO production.
I figured it did, as every time I take it, my veins dialate the way they do when I take an NO booster.
Bummed I didn't study biochem now. So fascinating!!
Does this mean that when I take beetroot or cayenne pepper with mb it will blunt vasodilation?
