      @@tahio0081 TSW is tough af. I'm like 1.5 years into it and while I'm mostly functional at this point my legs are still bad. Will post a quick list of what I've been doing: I use taurine + glycine (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, collagen synthesis, gut health etc.) + red light therapy + 3-4 days water fasts every month; mostly animal-based diet (may or may not suit you). I also feel like vitamins A + E in somewhat high doses mostly helps me even though people are fearmongering about it but every time I quit retinol it gets worse. Dexpanthenol spray without any additives (like the one against sunburns) was the only thing my skin tolerated, some mosturizers even "dermatologically tested" crap caused aggravations. Spent gallons of those sprays, now use them less often. There are times it gets worse for no reason even in spots that you thought already healed long ago. Hair drier at max setting to combat the itch if it gets unbearable

      You are absolutely correct. It depends on how well your electron transport chain is functioning in your mitochondria. If you don't have problems with your electron transport chain, then it doesn't take much methylene blue to be way too much. I took 20 drops at once and it shut down my energy because I'm a fairly healthy person who exercises and has a clean lifestyle and diet

    The drops per ml varies so if you don't know what it is just count the total drops. It was 400 for my one oz jar that I filled with mb powder and filtered water. I put a gram in there so each drop is 2.5mg. It would be better for most people to dilute it more but for me fewer drops makes it easier to deal with.

      Lol who's there. I still think that just using a small syringe (like 2ml I'm using) is quicker and easier than counting drops and get rids of any discrepancies. I even taped the 1ml range just so I don't have to spend CALORIES on THINKING (well actually black lines on a syringe are hard to see when its filled with MB) If you know that your solution is 1% math gets very simple like he explained @1:09

    Much needed video. Thanks. When I started 8 months ago, I had to do all these calculations by myself. No youtuber gave the exact drop numbers somehow. and the numbers of drops looked to big, I had to calculate everything 3 times to make sure im not doing any mistake.
    Because it is really lots of MB to drops, I use 1/4 teaspoon or 1 teaspoon measurement spoons instead of droppers. I did the calculations of their volumes.
    I get powder MB and I do my own 1% solution btw. more economic.

      According to some youtubers and professionals, MB clears out the NO from the body. which is supposed to be a good thing. The initial headache when starting the MB is considered the NO cleaning. I had lots of headache when i increase the dose, but after a week or so it went away.

      I use to do this over ten years ago, MB powder was ridiculously inexpensive, and a couple of years before that, some brave souls were getting it from pet stores, as fish medication (relatively pure, but yuck!) But I don't think it's profitable that way, so more vendors are selling it pre-mixed, at strengths like 1% talked about here.

    • @rgmann
      @rgmann 10 днів тому

      That's what I do. I mix my own solution from MB powder as a 2% solution. So, each drop is 1 mg of MB, and a dropper full (about 3/4 is all it will draw up) is about 15 drops/mg of MB. I take that about once or twice per day (15-30 mg per day) with very good results.

I use Meraki Brand which is 100% pure USP/Pharmaceutical grade. they say on the bottle that each drop is 250 mcg so I've slowly worked up to 12 drops now once a day, but I know from working out the math that I would need to bump it up to 20 drops for it to be 5mg I think, which seems to be a pretty standard dose most take. I would agree that there is not an abundance of literature relating daily methylene blue consumption and long term effects. Something that should be considered before starting any long term supplementation. Thank you for the comment.

      It has been described as "the first fully synthetic drug used in medicine." Methylene blue was first prepared in 1876. that's a whole lot of therapeutic use. One would think any indications of long-term "abuse" would have been found and mentioned in the literature. And this will never be thoroughly investigated, because it's much too cheap and long-term studies are much too expensive. I mean, the "aspirin" you take is synthetic. It was originally derived from a plant, but what you get in a bottle is synthetic. Although feel free to abstain for the rest of your life. If it was good medication God would gift it like a present wrapped in a bow, right?

      it's an organic dye that's been around since the late 1800's. It cures malaria and was the very first drug approved by the FDA.

    I am super confused. I thought the dosage was X mg/Kg of body weight for the whole drop. of the 1% solution???
    So I weighed one of my drops and it is 50mg, so at say 3mg/Kg of 100 Kg I would take 6 drops. But you're saying in that 300mg of liquid only 1% of that is the actual MB dose I'm getting? I'm only getting a 3mg dose of MB not 300mg?

      yes!!!! Get a dropper with markings (1mL anyways), and you're going to want to take a full dropper's worth at least. Don't weigh a drop, that doesn't work. You would only take a couple of drops or so if it was like 95+% pure, or more likely you would use a few milligrams of nearly pure powder put in a drink. 1% solution is much much more dilute.

      @@squirlmy Thanks, I figured it out. I was taking super low doses. Thanks again!

      @@squirlmy Not sure where my original reply went, but yah, thanks for that. I did dig into it more. The confusing part is the studies use mg/Kg but the measurements are in ml. Super confusing but yes I figured it out and I was taking very small dosage. So my dropper does 0.5 mg of MB per drop. It was my confusion thinking the 1% solution is what they were using in studies. The 1% is from labs requiring that dilution for use in staining slides in the lab.
