It was fine until some backend AI wanted me to verify my bank account. They asked for documents. I send them 10 times documents, even documents where I get paid by UA-cam. And the AI behind it always asks "Documents were rejected upload again". I contacted support - they said documents are fine, upload them again... Again reject, again support ticket and it's the same loop for a month. After that I contacted a person I know working in google. He filed an internal case to check the situation. They said "upload your documents, your documents are fine, they should pass." They did not pass anything -> "Rejected -> Upload Documents Again" It was one month + communication with support and they assure me the documents are fine, however they got rejected each time. So I gave up and make a patreon. Which is WAY BETTER!
But still dude, you are getting views and have hot content. You would think @UA-cam could spare one human from the mean comment division for 10 minutes to solve this problem and apologise. Hope they see this and pull their finger out. Keep up the great content.
While this is indeed bloody awesome, it's worth pointing out that you can not use this tool to produce commercial applications, i.e. movies and games that you intend to sell. At least not at this point in time where Motorica has no paid subscription, which according to its TOS is required for a license that allows commercial usage. The free license gives you assets licensed under a Creative Commons Non-Commercial license.
Well that kills the point of using it. I thought it would be free and save me costs as a solo dev. Im not going to buy a license for something that isnt even earning me money and idk if it will.
for anyone that potentially have an error with the plugins not showing up, make a 'Plugins' folder in the same area as the main folder (outside of engine or config) and the motorica ai will show up
After retargeting pose, in the retargeting menu, the option of "Show retarget Pose" wont show in my UE like it shows on 08:36. There are just 2 options "editing retarget pose" and "running retarget". Does anyone know why? Im using UE 5.4.1

Following that, we can also consider looking into a Clads Action Law suit for all others who have been violated for the very same.

As far I could check, animations don't loop :( .... you can do cool stuff with rootmotion montages (for cinematics) but won't serve for looping movement animations... or am I missing something?
God please do something for the auto-retargeting stuff, universal agreement or something. I have so many model with exotic bones it's take a thousand year to retarget it one by one
It's a hard stuff to universe it. I'm not a programmer in my core. That needs some serious programming skills to make it automatic. Even Epic don't have such a tool as far as i know. To work with every single different skeleton and retarget it automatic.

This is not the case for animations. You can generate animations from some AI video tool and put them in the game. Their policy is more of the asset creation aspect, 2D etc.

It’s like a pre-recorded animation. But i saw a video that it works with motion matching and in game characters already. I just didnt test it yet!

None player characters such as enemy characters can move in space so this should be fine for enemy characters, because you are not controlling them.

So its just loaded with lots of preset animations like mixamo for example. Can you use it to generate custom animations? Like specific dancing etc?
At the moment as far as I saw it's presets that you can mix up together.
