- In this episode I'll show you how to create adjustment moprhs for DAZ clothing with ZBrush. It's a high-level overview of the concept, not a sculpting tutorial. I know almost nothing about ZBrush itself, have always valued it's super easy integration into DAZ Studio. My plan is to learn it one day (if only I can get past the interface). Enjoy!

The best brushes for creating morphs of DAZ items are the INFLATE and MOVE brushes, as these do not change or add to geometry. The Alt key reverses the brush's usual behavior (Inflate becomes "deflate"). You can also hold Shift to smooth out your changes. As you know, Jay, I'm such a genius at ZBrush. ;)

Hi just tried to install ZBrush but getting this error after install unable to connect with pixologic tm ZBrush@, check the installation can you help I am using DAZ Studio 4.21 (64-bit)
Try uninstalling the bridge, then in Install Manager, specify the directory where ZBrush is installed. Install the bridge again and see if that works. I'm using ZBrush 2022.7 and Daz Studio 4.21 and for me the bridge works fine.

Hi there. I want to ask question about goz. When I click goz，the avatar in zbursh shows it remains a basic unedited genesis 8 female. however, I have already made many morphs in daz on that avatar. Is there a way to send my morphed avatar to zbrush and retain its changes? Thank you!
Edit - Preferences - Bridges, under GoZ enable Show Options. This will bring up a dialogue before the export, allowing you to use deformations.
@@WPguru Thank u. Another question is that is it possible to goz with high quality model？because what i get in zbrush is a low-face model even if i set subdivision to 3 and high resolution in daz. If I subdivide in zbrush，i cannot goz in morph. So the result is not good because of the low-face.
What you see in ZBrush is the actual base resolution of the Genesis figure. The higher resolution is achieved with a subdivision modifier in DAZ Studio. You can sculpt on the high-res version by exporting the model manually, but you won’t be able to import your changes as a morph. DAZ vendors have a special tool that allows for this through GoZ for HD morph creation, but it’s not available to the general public.
