Everytime I hear this ost, it makes me feel like the world is so full of beauty in spite of its awfulness. Always loved the music from Final Fantasy. Music is such a big and amazing thing in our world. I wish more could see its true beauty.
That first time when the prelude music starts..when the "New game" screen appears...man that just opened up all sorts of feels. I'll never forget that moment. The remake was finally in our hands after waiting for so long
@@stephensturges5711 True. I dont get the hate this game gets, i fucking love it for what it does differently. if i want to play FF7 i can just pop in the old ps 1 disc and go.
Favorite video game music of all time. FF7 holds a very special place in my heart, played it back when I was 7 years old back in 1997 and it has gripped me for decades with it's characters, story, and music.
Love this video! Final fantasy music is so special to me. And I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but FF7 remake and rebirth are games I love to death, so great.
as good as the music sounds, i feel they put the microphone right in the middle of the strings section, so the strings over power the rest of the instruments. still good though
I just listen to FF7 Orchestra, then i see this.. relaxing...? Hmm. Click . . . Tears started. 40 and the music still touches my heart so much. Relxing indeed.
I finished Rebirth two weeks ago, and I cannot listen to its soundtrack yet. It's still too hard. I thought that the Remake OST would be fine, but you can be sure that each time I hear Aerith's theme (in any song), tears come up... Final Fantasy music is really something else.
The Prelude reminds me -for some reason- of my great great grandfather who passed last year. He fought in both World Wars and always showed up to Thanksgiving. He was an honorable man who passed too soon -_-
This OST feels more mellow and slowed down in comparison to Rebirth. This soundtracks is really sublime in places, like “All Quiet At The Gates”. Such a good piece that perfectly fits the cold and sleek ambience of the Shinra building entrance.
Awesome jobs ❤❤❤Brilliant scenes you have been chosen get along very well with the song . So impressive and unique. Makes it more memorable and special ❤❤❤
I somehow miss suffering to the trophies. maybe I should buy the ps4 version for both games and do it again. Hope Part 3 comes soon, this music makes me sad and happy and everything in-between.
I'm both looking forward to and dreading the third game. Dreading because it will all be over. Regardless of the outcome. Unless they milk the franchise. Just grab those big juicy udders and SSQQQQUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZEE come on Square Enix do it DLC's and FF72.
To anyone reading this. Repent and believe the gospel! There’s a loving God who wants to know you and save you. He gave His only son as a sacrifice for us so that we can spend eternity with Him in peace and joy. Please consider the state of your soul! Jesus died and resurrected so you can be saved. Believe in Jesus and follow Him so you may have salvation. Life is short, please make the right choice today!
@@Levi-qr3oc Its important for people to hear The Gospel. Also it doesn't really matter if nobody is asking for it, people have the right to hear it and decide for themselves. One day we will all stand in front of God for judgment and putting your faith in Jesus is the only way you can hope to be saved. You should really consider the gospel message.
@@Levi-qr3oc Well, actually, if you think about it, one of the wonderful things about role-playing games like FFVII, FFVII Remake, FFVII Rebirth, etc. (not to mention games like Xenogears) is that they often deal in various ways with the same questions, mysteries, etc. that various religions deal with, even if they don't give the same "answers," or provide "answers" at all, etc. So, in a way, the "preaching" is quite relevant to the "games." I mean, when @xdmomentum8346 says, "Life is short, please make the right choice today," it's difficult, at least for me, not to think of Aerith saying, "Everyone dies eventually… So we need to make the most of the time we have - to live our lives, the way we want to live… Every minute, every MOMENT, matters…" ...On another note, it's interesting to compare/contrast Aerith's words with Kefka's at the end of FFVI: "Why do people rebuild things they know are going to be destroyed? Why do people cling to life when they know they can't live forever? Think how meaningless each of your lives is!" -- Both Kefka and Aerith are confronting the reality that everything dies, and yet they draw different conclusions from it. Kefka basically says, "Everything dies, so nothing matters," while Aerith basically says, "Everything dies, so everything matters." To put Christianity into conversation with them (and I'm Catholic, so I'm thinking particularly of Catholic Christianity), Christianity might find some truth in both of them, and say, "Everything dies -- IF that were the end of the story, then Kefka would be right; nothing would matter. But in the context of God, and then in the additional context of eternal life (immortality of the soul and resurrection of the body), everything matters." But I'm over-simplifying; I think a full Catholic response would need to be much more nuanced (and different kinds of Catholic responses would be possible, not just one).
Awesome jobs ❤❤❤Brilliant scenes you have been chosen get along very well with the song . So impressive and unique. Makes it more memorable and special ❤❤❤

the most peaceful music in my life
Hello, you're welcome. We are a lot, fans of FF VII and the work of Uematsu
Half of these are just variations of Aerith’s theme…
Everytime I hear this ost, it makes me feel like the world is so full of beauty in spite of its awfulness. Always loved the music from Final Fantasy. Music is such a big and amazing thing in our world. I wish more could see its true beauty.
Preach
Seriously. Ever since the Junon Republic fell life just hasn't been the same.
The world IS so full of beauty in spite of its awfulness, it is a fact :)
it reminds me that the struggle is worth it if we have family and friends to fight for. Just like the story of the game.
Agreed.
That first time when the prelude music starts..when the "New game" screen appears...man that just opened up all sorts of feels. I'll never forget that moment. The remake was finally in our hands after waiting for so long
but we didn't want a remake. we wanted a remaster.
@awaugh17 YOU wanted the same game we've played for 25 years that just looks pretty.

To the person who made this compilation: thank you so much. Listening to it every day while working in my office.
The game that helped me get through the hard era of my life. This game taught me to persevere through hard and heat breaking times.

Wow listening to this beautiful mix while I’m coding and I can’t stop tearing up brings memories of when I was 9

I love them all but the soundtrack of Cloud and Aerith dating on rooftops just lights up my whole world ❤

She lived. She lived god damn it.
Yes! And how she lived!
No she didn’t 💀
No she didn’t bro. At least not really
I think the lifestream would bring her back, somehow.
This is so beautiful, it makes me want to cry. Thank you for this.
"Waiting to be found" track just made tears stream down my face
This is fire. Thank you for the upload

best music in a video game ever! (apart from Chrono trigger) :)

Very well said!
Thanks for helping me take a nap at work
The passion really shines through. Great job!
You open the game and don`t immediately press start, just for the prelude theme
Literally exactly what I did on day one.
Your kindness is a balm to all who encounter it.
It sounds really beautiful. Thank you for this compilation.👍👍👍
Anyone else notice the opening to Tifa's Theme in this version has the same little riff as "Eyes on Me," from VIII?
thank for this, a good listen while i set up my game room
ofc it starts with the prelude 🫶
How it should be.

Awesome mix. Music in the game was great. Too bad they ruined what made FF7 so great, the storyline.
