You choose whether you want your person to swim or use salvage boat when you click on the resource. The tab is in the upper part of the resource screen, right above the amount of people. Example: 55:20

buildings rotate there front sides to the walkway there attached to. some buildings can be upgraded (exp. tents) by clicking the double upward arrows

I think boat captain is just whoever is using it at the moment. I can see while you play thay they are using it, so perhaps that's just it. And perhaps they weren't using it for exploring because it is labeled a salvaging boat, so maybe it is only intended for the patches of plastic and so on

Make your Town Beauty at least 120+, you will get +4 bonus to morale perm
Research Duo Cottage and built it, get +4 bonus morale perm and increase your Town Beauty +18 each building
Do task they liked (with love symbol) get around 2-4 bonus morale
For food just breed Gobbler and farm Seaweed you will have Gobbler Roll yummy grade food +4 bonus morale

Gunfire reborn is now doing unpaid season passes, and for the last 2 difficulties, added a new function. The function is pick 1 of 3, active shield generator, auto turret that follows you, and active poison cloud machine. These can be augmented in their own section of looking at weapons, talents, and scrolls. The only difference in the augments is the hero exclusive augment. The hero exclusive is different for each hero/function combination.
