Hi Mikko - lovely tone on the new axe and nice playing. Let’s see more videos featuring it please. I saw Pat in concert last weekend, here in London. As usual he was amazing. He talked way more than he normally does which was good. He was really enjoying playing his baritone guitars and described the different tuning and how he mentally thinks of it as 3x2 sets of strings: top, middle and bottom. He also played his Manzer 42 string Pikasso guitar. Pat finished with 7 guitars on stage, his synth SG and his mini orchestrion rhythm section. Great gig.
Transparent acoustic sound with warmth tone and good equilibrium of presence… And Travels is one of my favorite tunes, perfect. Worth another lesson ;-) Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy! Sounds great here and hope the feel matches the sound. I used to love researching and picking up new gear, but the GAS completely disappeared once I fell into the jazz hole years ago. I’ve only had one guitar since lol 🎸

My guitar slides off my thigh, just like you. Now, I play wearing a guitar strap even when sitting down. Stabilizing matters. I’m still on the fence with the PM3 as I have a high end Ibanez with better treble. PS, you play nicely, thanks.
My understanding is this was the Charlie Christian III pick-up, and that an earlier Christian I pick-up had been part of an earlier Metheny model. Was the guitar that well intonated out of the box and were those the original strings? Or did you do set up work? The guitar seems to project well and sound great and real reviews are useful. And sir, you have some Pat in your repertoire! 😮
Beautiful sounding guitar wow that Charlie Christian pick Charlie Christian and early BB king sound T bone Walker if some found it abit bright can easily change the tone capacitor for a darker sounding one

thanks :) you will not get rid of hum completely it's still there. I'm using low volume in this recording

@@WhiteOakAmps This is right out of the box. But I'm gonna get a proper set up done at some point and I'll probably put on heavier strings

I have the PM100 , do you think yours is better?
I have never actually tried one but this one is significantly cheaper and made in Indonesia so I'm assuming a little lower quality
