Received mine from RC Going about a week ago. Flown it 4 times already. Love it!!!! Amazing scale heli!!!! Couple of little hints for a new buyer of this helicopter: Rig up a tail rotor ground protection guard out of some bent heavy gauge wire similar to clothes hanger wire because the stock setup allows the bottom reach of the blade to go a little beyond the protection of the tail fin. Also make sure the blades are tight enough that you can hold the heli sideways and given a light tap on one side so as to spin the main rotor around without moving either blade from they're straight out position.

That's how we got it. I just do it for drop dead voltage on a heli, but to be frank, this heli will land at ~ 3.6-3.7 VDC anyway, so unless I were to "cancel" the Return to Home feature, she would be on the ground WELL before the alarm sounded. I also like to have this JUST in case there's a SAGGY CELL...sometimes this will cause issues on lower cell count flight packs, like 2S or 3S, but with 4S and 6S packs, one cell sagging usually doesn't cause a complete failure, but it can ;) My "rule of thumb" is that 3.3VDC for PROP planes, and 3.6VDC for EDF's

@@BrianPhillipsRC ok Brian thank you. Great videos also I have been in this hobby since I’m 23. Well now 65 this month can’t believe it lol and getting back into it. You have been a great help in refreshing my memory on things. again thank you
I know people can say it’s a drone and not a “real” RC helicopter. But I’ve got a couple of the OMP hobby heli’s and DJI drones. The thing with the DJI drones, is the proprietary batteries. I hate to say it, but that’s the biggest issue for me. I’m not a skill-level snob by any means. (In fact, my skills need some improvement.). As long as you have those nice chargers, you will always have batteries to fly that Bell 206. I’ve even put an FPV camera on a helicopter, it’s fun. I’m guessing there will be even more nice looking GPS helicopters on the market in the future.
You can turn it on, but have to hook it up to the PC and do it, BUT you can also just go to "3D" mode and fly it like any collective pitch heli. This heli is AWESOME!!! bprc.me/Flywing_Bell206
Love your videos Brian! Any suggestions on how do remedy the wonderfully useless venting of the cockpit? I have drilled a grid of 1/4" holes in the see-through lower windows on the lower fuse. These are the windows just below the nose of the helicopter. The ridge vents near the top of the canopy were only half of the solution. Cheers!
Hello Brian - I made my mind up to either purchase this Helli or the newer UH-1 Huey V4 - but I’m having a hard time deciding between the two - is the technology the same between the two or does the version for Huey 4 have more technology? They both have GPS but it seems like the Huey flies a little bit easier for more beginner pilots which I am. Any advice would be great thank you. 😊
For us, it varies...we usually get our stuff in about 2-4 days, but sometimes we're getting early samples direct from China, so we might have to wait for about 2-4 weeks...depends on the item. These 206'es are gonna be state side, if you're here in USA
@@BrianPhillipsRC i live in texas. Nobody in USA has one in stock. seems like it was a one hit wonder and nobody sells them anymore. I also noticed these came out 3 or 4 yrs ago and i just now found out about them. Id like to have one but about the only place i see one for sale is ebay
We fly all kinds, and I can say, there's a lot more going on that pressing a button. The point is, I want scale, and I DON'T want a heart attack...and I'm not alone. Might not be for you, but this Bell 206 is to die for.
@BrianPhillipsRC "don't want a heart attack" while also saying "this bell 206 is to die for" Your logic is questionable and doesn't make sense. Make it make sense/logic
Very cool! Looks like there is, but the Bell 206 doesn't have 4 blades in real life, so I wouldn't be interested on this model. What are YOUR thoughts? bprc.me/Flywing_Bell206 bprc.me/FlyWing_Bell206_Parts
@@BrianPhillipsRC I was thinking the same, the real version only has 2 blades. I was curious if the 4 bladed RC version flying characteristic is different, I have never flown a 4 bladed heli before. Thank you for your responds.

@@BrianPhillipsRC ok Brian thank you. Great videos also I have been in this hobby since I’m 23. Well now 65 this month can’t believe it lol and getting back into it. You have been a great help in refreshing my memory on things. again thank you
So glad we could help yet you back involved!
I fly 3D helicopters but would be willing to purchase one of these just to have more relaxed flights but for $735 I’m good price should be $400 max
You can spend less without as many batteries, but the GPS "heli-drones" do seem to be pretty pricey.
Great 👍
In a scale way, how aggressively can this heli be flown in "GPS" mode? Can it do swooping maneuvers and steep-ish banked turns? Thanks!!
I’m guessing there will be even more nice looking GPS helicopters on the market in the future.
yep - Love this heli, and no complaints from me for being easy to fly. There IS a 3D mode, which will make it GOOD for just about any heli pilot ;)
Flywing going making bigger Apache! Keep looking on them...😆
Hey Brian, I’m about to purchase this heli and I was wondering if it has the same invert switch as the fw450?
You can turn it on, but have to hook it up to the PC and do it, BUT you can also just go to "3D" mode and fly it like any collective pitch heli. This heli is AWESOME!!!

Wow. Daddy likes! Looks fantastic.
Awesome!!!!!😃
Sure is!
Hello, I want to know what are the key positions for inverted flight, 3D flight and ATT flight?
im gettin one ! i clicked on your link where you bought it and checked it out. how long did it take to get it ?
For us, it varies...we usually get our stuff in about 2-4 days, but sometimes we're getting early samples direct from China, so we might have to wait for about 2-4 weeks...depends on the item. These 206'es are gonna be state side, if you're here in USA
@@BrianPhillipsRC i live in texas. Nobody in USA has one in stock. seems like it was a one hit wonder and nobody sells them anymore. I also noticed these came out 3 or 4 yrs ago and i just now found out about them. Id like to have one but about the only place i see one for sale is ebay
Nice helicopter 🚁
Which one would be the preferred purchase. This v3 version or the new v4 hu-1 great videos 👍🏼
Looks very nice, and by the way OJ has passed. No more shenanigans.
Brian, it sounded like you were having a Heli-Gasm there for a moment. 😛
On point 😂
"Heli-Gasm" Love it! Just love the passion Brian puts out in the videos!
Really enjoy your videos Mr. Phillips. Wanted ask you what type of 4k camera are using...Your videos always look really High Definition to the T.
Love your content brian
Bien le bonjour de France, il est sublime ce modèle 👌 pour ma part j ai le FW450L, je l adore 🥰
Je m abonne 👍
So, does this Heli have a mount for a GoPro video? how much weight can it carry?
Must be real fun to fly an RC without touching the controls..... Hey let's push a button to land and takeoff....
We fly all kinds, and I can say, there's a lot more going on that pressing a button. The point is, I want scale, and I DON'T want a heart attack...and I'm not alone. Might not be for you, but this Bell 206 is to die for.
@BrianPhillipsRC "don't want a heart attack" while also saying "this bell 206 is to die for"
Your logic is questionable and doesn't make sense. Make it make sense/logic
@@3120DownForceyoure dumb, you dont understand that phrase?
I’m getting one of these idec the price and the commentary bro oj the juice is loose! 🕹️🚁🔋🔌⚡️😂
Do you have any opinions on the 4 blade version?
Very cool! Looks like there is, but the Bell 206 doesn't have 4 blades in real life, so I wouldn't be interested on this model. What are YOUR thoughts?

@@BrianPhillipsRC
I was thinking the same, the real version only has 2 blades. I was curious if the 4 bladed RC version flying characteristic is different, I have never flown a 4 bladed heli before. Thank you for your responds.
lol no wonder helicopters are dying maybe cause a mid tier one is 750$ 😂 average ppl don't have that money to invest in a toy.
So true. I had a Raptor 30 heli and the complexity and price of repair after crashes was so ridiculous I bailed for planes.
Literally pieces of plastic lol 😂250 max
@@davidsapir9638 I still have my Thunder Tiger Raptor 30! (And my Shogun 400, and my T-Rex 450 from way back when. The latter two, all decked out with early Micro-Heli parts.)
12:30 photogenic 😉
But he *might’ve* been looking for: photorealistic
Awesome vid!
yeah, I HATE when I lose the word I'm trying to say on camera, it's actually very difficult to recover from, but when I'm flying such a sweeeeeeeet heli, it takes some of the sting off the situation
@@BrianPhillipsRC I was practically yelling at the screen, hoping I’d will it to you (lethal weapon 4 style). 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome videos, been enjoying them lately. Thank you! 🙏🏼
Hi, With one battery, how long it will stay in the aisr, please? Thanks for the information.
This is a nice looking bird !!
It would have been really cool if it had a functioning rotating FPV camera like the real news helicopters !!!!!
" in 3d mode I could probably take off, I could probably hover and immediately switch back to GPS mode" 😂😂😂
Would a tx12 work on this heli I'm brand new so I don't understand all the electronic stuff like what chip receiver is in this heli?
what a lovely house and plot of land for your obsession....i am so envious,,,,Godf bless America...you should consider running for president....i think you would be great.
Can you use aftermarket batteries for this Heli? Like to see more reputable distributors with this product Motion,Horizon hobby in US go support and parts! Any ideas if this will happen?
Hi. How much flight time do you get on one pack, approximately?
It was like ~ 25 minutes! We flew it again this weekend, and same SUPER long flight times!!! Crazy for a 3000mAh 4S!
@@BrianPhillipsRC👍 Got mine in December, love it. Flew it all winter in cold temps, 17 min on the stock battery landed at 3.7 consistently. Added lights, so much fun on a cold windy, overcast day. No issues whatsoever, nice review.
Pretty dang cool 👌
Could you try the airwolf rtf version please … I like the look of that one … but only see the kit version videos.
Awesome video tho ….. seriously thinking of getting this one or the airwolf … hence the request …. Keep up the great work you both do 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Just used your link for that Heli
Ohhhhh YEAHHH ;) Thanks! It is sooooooo dang pretty! Wait till you see her in person!!!!
Brian, I contacted HeliDirect a distributor for FlyWing. I asked about the flight time using the battery supplied in their FlyWing Bell 206. They told me it is about 10-12 minutes at the 65% power setting. So how are you getting almost 30 minutes of flight time.
Not sure what to tell you. We were getting amazing flight times. I was AMAZED.
What happens if you don't have good GPS? Just curious can you still fly it?
