I know that Ending Theme is one of Daniel's favorites, but i wish someone picked other songs in the same album that showcasing Daniel's singing ability: Fandango, Trace of Blood, or Beyond The Pale are perfect choices on how superior Daniel's singing talent. Anyway, still good choice though for someone who never heard about Pain of Salvation before. We don't want to scare anyone 😂 Thanks for the reaction. Love Pain of Salvation! and i hope this is not the last song from them on this channel. ❤️
Great reaction. Pain of Salvation is my absolute favorite band. Daniel is a great guitarist, lyricist and writer and creates a mood in almost every song. He is amazing live, too. So many great vocal performances and so it is difficult to say where to go next. Possibly the live version of Chain Sling or Iter Impius.
That was a refreshing reaction video, honestly! I’m sure you get a comment like this for each artist in every reaction you do, but genuinely, Pain of Salvation is a very interesting and dynamic group, and as you can glimpse here has an incredible singer who loves to try a bunch of different things. If you want to see the strongest evidence of a theater connection with him, see the live performance of Iter Impius / Martius Nauticus II. It’s probably the most popular vid from the band that reaction channels latch onto, and for good reason. He goes full ham in that performance, and it’s very fun haha.
Welcome to one of my top 3 favorite bands. This is the second song of a concept album, so all songs are connected, like all of their albums for that matter. If you like great singing over complex and beautiful music, this band is for you. Lyrics are hard, though. Great writing about real life. Very deep.
Great find! Thanks, Aaliyah! I'll be watching Eivoer Palsdottir this week on wednesday and IGNEA from the Ukraine on saturday, here in Hamburg, Germany. Fun fact: IGNEA once did a cover of Eivoer's song i Tokuni = in the fog. Eivoer is from the Faroese Islands.
@@AaliyahCapili I second this and, Aaliyah, since you are a classical musician, the album "BE" where the 2 songs mentioned are from, would be an intersting listen. ;) but PoS are so diverse, every album covers different grounds. I LOVE this band. Albums I adore are "The Perfect Element", "One Hour By The Concrete Lake", "12:5", "Remedy Lane" and "In The Passing Light of Day". That doesn't mean I don't love the other albums, but these are just personal favourites and so special for various reasons.
Thank you Aliyaah, y like to learn new things and know new bands , you are right he is a good story teller and the band sounds great !!.. greetings from Chile , southamerica 🇨🇱
Wow, as a Pain of Salvation fan I am impressed you reacted to a song I don't even know! I mean this song is not even on the Ending Themes Live Performance (now I haven't actually watched the tv series or what ever was on the other 2 DVDs) But while I would recommend more reactions of Pain of Salvation, I would be careful with choosing their most popular songs. As those are mostly the epitome of the record. And with no context they are not that great, in my humble opinion. You need some pre-listener at least. I would properbly recommend songs of the 12:5 album which is an unplugged live performance of their previous songs, there are at least 2 live video performances on UA-cam. And maybe Diffidentia which is like the middle track of their Be album (there is also a live performance on the Ending Themes concert) There are great songs on earlier and later albums, but those I feel are the most accessible ones.
Thank you for your beautiful reaction and your inquisitive mind! ❤. Hopefully we’ll see some more Pain of Salvation reactions from you! 😊. For example A Trace of Blood (sad, heart wrenching and true story about a miscarriage), Iter Impius (last man (egocentric, mean person) on a wasted Earth), King of Loss (we are all financial prey, from our first breath) or On a Tuesday (from an album about Daniel Gildenlöw where he shares his feelings, emotions, memories and stories when he contracted flesh eating, life threatening bacteria back in 2014)… or any other song by them 😅.
Nice reaction, I always fear listening to single PoS songs are missing the context of the album. Of course these songs are great on their own, but concept albums unfold, when you see and hear the whole thing. Especially true with Pain of Salvation. All the best!
Another great reaction in store! I have a suggestion, I'd genuinely love to see your reaction to this - Fallen Angel by Satan's Host. The vocals on this song go purely INSANE! 🤯

Never heard them before, but they sounded good. He has a great voice. Enjoyed it and, as always, great reaction. 😊
you need to listen to inter impius and martius nauticus II live, its one of the greatest live performances ive ever seen from them
Thanks so much for the recommendations

I would love to see a duet with Floor Jansen and Daniel Gildenlow. Both emotive singers, I think they will sound amazing together
Cara Aaliyah, sei meravigliosa!!!😍💞
