in Prawns Chowchow a lot of onion chilly powder n some mixture of ginger garlic paste n garam masala is used. The normal tast with all ingredients shuld be sweet sour pungent. Anyway your receipe is different n.looks yummy

Well the if the fish smells very bad , or too soft thn it will not be of good quality...fresh fish always gives a good sea water looks and fresh thn one kept for long time fish
