What I dont get is how do you know the roads arent icy until you drive on them. People fly down the road like it's a dry sunny day. I can't live like that!
Because we know how to drive. It's really not that difficult to understand how the roads are. If it's just above freezing with salt they're fine to basically drive normal. It's when you get slushy wet snow then a sudden temp drop like tonight that makes dangerous conditions and need to be careful. It's not that complicated.
For everyone wondering why people don’t just stop or that they didnt even try to stop, theres black ice. Its not something you can see or necessarily prevent other than going slow. The guy that went around the corner is a perfect example.
I grew up in Miami. Some of y'all should be embarassed, all your lives here yet you drive worse than me when the snowflakes start to fall lol Went to work this morning. Roads werent amazing but they weren't terrible. They weren't slick but to be fair I drive AWD. Just take it easy. I had one guy tail gating me when getting off the highway on a ramp that is always slicker in snowy weather like dude... get off my culo!
Was literally thinking the same thing today. People in brand new 2500 Silverados sitting in the fast lane going 50. If you don't know how to drive, move out of the way for people who do. Gah!

I lived in Minneapolis before and them peoples cannot drive, even if it saved there lives SMDH. Glad I left such a miserable state!
