Yes, this is really how we live life day to day in MN. 😂 You do adapt though. Low riding sports cars don’t get you far here.
I haven't adapted at all and I grew up here
my bagged subie says otherwise
Remember kids, all wheel drive means nothing, if you don't have traction.
I live in Minnesota ;-; my whole life I honestly got use to it
Minnesota: I have the worst snow storms!
Canada: hold my maple syrup
and the worst drivers! Thank God I'm moving!
Incredible!
Does these weather conditions also happen in these regions in other years at mid april or is it quite abnormal?
We sometimes experience a light powdering during April but this much precipitation this far into Spring is very very rare. On this date last year it was 89 degrees.
Not common, but it happens.
It depends year to year, but it’s not that abnormal to see heavy snow in March or April.
it's normal
The worst is when you have lots of traffic, you no longer control your fate. My commute is south of the cities, all rural. The Interstate part gets good maintenance, secondary roads usually takes until well after the storm. Snow tires are incredible.
Most people in the US do not understand snow tires. Hm....
No way I would be driving.
Great video.
Simply OUTRAGEOUS! Sounds the defrost is full blast.
just broke February record in the Twin Cities. Could April 2019 be worse?
Yayy, looking forward to moving there next year. Any advice for someone living there from the south?
ZF SoWhiteiGlow Buy a nice coat and buy a shovel just incase. Might also want an ice scraper for your windshields.
Make sure you spend the extra money on winter tires.
Learn to drive in the snow. Many people get cocky and think they know how even when they dont so it's a good skill to learn.
@@jamespostle6894 Lived in indiana my whole life, we get snowstorms a heck lot of times, snow tires are really good, I own a RWD low swung 505 hp corvette and I put snow tires on it and I don’t slip, but I see 4WD trucks in the ditch because people get cocky when owning a 4WD car without snow tires.
@@aimxdy8680 yup
Is this downfall normal
I remember this day, had a blast in my jeep!
"WELCOME to the HIMALAYAS!"
You are a good drive in the snow keep up very very good 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💙💙up
Way too much snow, jesus! This is almost as bad as Alaska!
I remember this one. Got to drive 20mins, took me 3 hrs.
Its June 1 and I want to go to the store and replenish my winter car kits for all the drivers in my family.
If you had a Subaru and some winter tires the roads are passable if you know how to drive in snow.
I can drive my forester with good all season tyres and still be able to drive in deep snow, you just need to dump a few psi out of the tyres like 4 to get better grip . . . didn't your daddy teach you nothing Hank ?!!
A Chevy Caprice with snow tires as well. Or a minivan. In Minnesota we used regular old 2wd cars in the olden days and had no issues.
I like the snow and cold
It snowed and iy hadb34
No one stops to help people and possibly pull them out.. ?
not many can and theres so many stuck ppl that tow trucks r unable to keep up so they sit on the side waiting for hours
And that 1 moterist who decided to do tricks when the weather is -40
I live in Northern MN. I keep my butt home. Yes I understand some people can't but uff dah
My 1995 Jeep would have a great time in this mess!
Sure are a lot of people driving with no lights. lights and flashers folks.
its Saturday, there is no rush hour...
Commissar0617 send the snow to south Louisiana I'll trade y'all warm weather, humid and I'll take the 20 degree temps
Just think.. Its all about to start up again! The side roads are even worse!! You have to have a decent size truck to get through, if you dont well you better bring a shovel with ya
MLB ?
If you didn't have AWD or 4WD, you shouldn't be out on the roads in this weather. Why? You should be ticketed for being stupid, not for being stuck. If you don't feel confident in your driving skills in these conditions or your vehicle is not made to navigate 1.5 feet of snow , Stay home.
Tell that to my boss, Einstein
I LITTERALY LOVE SNOW STORMS
WHY DO YOU GUYS THINK ITS A TIME TO DRIVE IN THE SNOW!1?1!1!1
ITS TIME TO PLAY IN THE SNOW NOT DRIVE INN THE SNOW
OMG I THOUGHT SUBARU WAS SIO UNBEATABLE IN THE SNOW blah blah blah but that legacy was TRAPPED 😂😂
its bc hes on all season tires dumbass
So much for Global Warning
I say that every winter here
That's rush hour traffic in Minneapolis? Hahahahaha.... Despite the heavy snowfall, the traffic is like a children's walk compared to Miami's and it's surrounding cities. Bitch please
Lol it’s not traffic here at all this is a millionth of the motorists since it’s a blizzard. You’re funny
Also, April 14, 2018 was a Saturday.
On days like this, I like to roll a fatty and rip it driving through the snow lol
If you are heading into a ditch floor the vehicle and take that momentum to get you outta that ditch or bury yourself deeper because you have no idea what I'm talking about, Right ?!!
Solution? Buy a ford f150 raptor with big snow tire
Гот мстит за Сирию
Climate really change !
