I’m sooo happy you did this!!
He is epic my friend!!
Love to see more!!❤✌🏼
Would love to hear more about your travels and experiences in other countries! I’ve traveled outside the US and my spouse immigrated here as an adult in the 1990s. We have much appreciation for this country. Love visiting other countries though. Peace ✌🏻
Nowwww… I NEED to see The Jazz Singer!
A great movie! Great music. He wrote this for his grandmother. ❤❤❤❤❤
Remake of the first talkie with Al Jolsen but not a coincidence that Neil grew up with a cantor father and he was expected to follow in the synagogue but went to California to pursue private career. His music became so widespread used, e.g.: "I'm a Believer", by the Monkees that he became in demand for performances. His Kennedy Center Honor tribute is one of the best productions, and after this movie with Lawrence Olivier (whom he personally asked to play his father) and Lucy Arnaz, this became the closing theme of his concerts. Parkinson's has taken him, his genius and his voice away too soon.
❤❤great song❤❤❤
Neil's maternal grandparents emigrated from Russia, his paternal grandparents from Poland, so it's a very personal song for Neil. The Jazz Singer was a nice film for Neil Diamond fans, but the soundtrack was a huge hit, yielding some other great hits. A charismatic performer with a great voice and terrific songwriting: Neil Diamond is a living legend who sold more than 130 million albums worldwide, sold out huge arenas and stadiums around the world and received numerous awards.
This song hits me deep to my soul when I hear it
Neil a bona fide genius.

I'm a rock and alternative and metal fan, but goddamn if I don't love me some Neil diamond
This song was a #1 hit as was another song by Neil from the movie called Love On The Rocks.
You make me smile, Sceez! Neil Diamond didn't write a bad song - recommend you check out another one. 🙂❤
which is saying something considering the amount of songs he wrote
Yes!! Neil Diamond!! Try “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show “ !! Great one!!
Oh yeah he'd like that one
Was also in Born in East LA, staring Cheech Marin
I loved this song when I was a kid! But now, I wish and pray that we, as Americans, had the same loving welcoming spirit to immigrants that we did years back....
☮️💙💙💙🔥😎love him!
Ngl but i tear this shit up at karaoke
The movie "The Jazz Singer" was the most recent of several remakes of a play (and movie of 1927 starring Al Jolson). I enjoyed it but I do think it's a little bit slow and sappy.
✨️✨️✨️✨️
Great song and great movie, check it out.
