- Effective from the 29th of July 2023, the US visa appointment system has moved to the new portal.

In this video, I will show you how to register & login to the new portal and view the appointments if you have already booked.
The new applicant portal is exclusively for those from India applying for US visas. This portal allows you to log in, view your dashboard, pay your visa fees, and schedule your visa interview appointment. You can also contact customer service if you need any assistance.
If you had an account on the old visa appointment scheduling system, you can use your existing email ID to sign-up and recreate your account in the new system
Applicants who already have confirmed appointments from the previous platform may proceed with their appointments as scheduled. However, you still need to sign-up and recreate your account on the new system after July 29.
📌 Please note, if you are signing in for the first time refer to the instructions mentioned below:
1. Go to www.usvisasche...
2. Click on "Sign up now"
3. Enter your Username, setup the Password and Email Address( Use the same old email id for existing registered users), and click on "Send Verification Code"
4. Enter the Verification Code received on the email ID
5. Click on "Verify Code" and set the security questions
6. Click on "Create"
You will be able to see your existing appointment(if booked already).
But on the left pane options like reschedule won’t be visible . To enable, you need to click on “Incorrect Information“ on the left pane then provide correct details, save.
Left pane will start showing options
As of now no option to edit DS-160. Fill out new, carry Print-out & inform at counter.

📌Claiming PAYMENT RECEIPTS
Do not click on "claim receipt" button on the payment page, does not work.
Instead, select payment mode from dropdown and click on submit.
(the payment mode should be the same as the payment mode you selected on old portal
Next page it will automatically pull old payment receipt, you can navigate to scheduled appointment page.
If above doesn't work,just close and start new application follow the same steps.
(mismatch in the amount then contact support)
📌You are able to go till payment page but it shows the remaining fees to be collected as 15USD & you had paid 190 USD fees old fee structure. not able to either claim or pay remaining fees . When try to pay the remaining fees, it takes to VFS visa global's website & full visa fee of 205 USD.
Solution:
Close any open application & start fresh. Fill all the info. on the payment page, SELECT either Citibank Cash or Druk Bank Cash & submit.Do not claim your receipts.Page will say 190$ collected and 15 remains. Press print "Cash Slip".Take a printout.
Visit axis bank, citibank or druk bank. ask the cashier want to pay the US Visa fee. They will ask CGI Reference Number. It is same as the Payment Reference Number listed on the slip. The very first line of that printout.Also mentioned under barcode. 11 Digits Starting INDXXXXXXXX. collect the receipt from the bank which will have Bank Reference Number. Thts actual receipt number identifies payment on new portal. will take 24-48 hrs to recognize payment. Other payment methods might work. Did not try.
📌Issue where payment type was empty for dependent profile & was successfully able to book an appointment for all (H1+H4).
Go to the H4 profile & enter some invalid passport number Save it.
Hit payment options page URL & payment type is now loaded.
Go to the applicant profile and correct your passport number & save it.
Hit payment options page URL & payment type drop-down is loaded with payment options.
Pay with credit/ debit.
📌Error Occurred pop-up message:
Create a separate profile(account) for H4 persons & go to the PROFILE page & add "contact email Id" as your primary applicant email ID .
📌Encountered an error upon choosing a date in appointment scheduling.
Created profiles for dependents using provided email IDs from the primary applicant's application.
Click on "Continue Application" on dependent profiles.
Select "Interview Waiver" option.
complete application up to document delivery.
Logged back into the portal using the primary applicant.
Book an appointment.

I had to cancel our original appointment for immigrant visa interview due to additional medical tests advised by CMM, Hyderabad. CMM also advised us to postpone the visa interview. Now CMM confirmed that the medical tests are ok but we are unable to reschedule our visa interview date for the last one week.

Very nicely explained Sir. I have a question . what to write while filling user detials here as in my passport surname is blank and we have only given name in passport. It seems surname is mandatory here in the user details while apply for US Visa.

I had my B1/B2 visa scheduled in November. I had to cancel the appointment as I am planning to do masters in January. But after cancelling the appointment I am unable to see any option for creating a new application for f1 visa. Can anyone guide me as to how I should proceed ahead.

Good day, please they have sent me the link to create a new account as i applied in the old website. I have created the account and just saw a single applicants meanwhile the application i did was for two people. What should i do? Also, am i supposed to start the application again?

Please Help.. I created a account but accidentally entered my married name instead of my maiden name which is the name on my case, when I did that it came up with "error" as I tried to submit my application. I then was advised by my lawyer to create a new account. Unfortunately I ended up creating 2 new accounts and now I can't submit my application as it's telling me that someone else has an account matching my details (both those accounts are mine however). I did not see the note which states not to create a new account so it's already too late now. I contact their support and they emailed back saying my case has been resolved, to which it has not. I don't know what to do and am afraid I'm going to lose my interview date.

Unfortunately, currently they do not provide the option to change it, hopefully, they will add the option in the future.
I am facing issue for booking the appointment for C1/D visa when i go for schedule appointment when i selecting the VAC the it is simply showing no slots available the it is not opening any calender for checking the dates
