Thanks for posting the video. I got the javascript error while selecting the calendar control for my parents visa renewals and I went back and did few clicks and now it throws contact web administrator error and also the fees amount not shown up. I am afraid to close the application and start a new one as I have to pay the fee again. As you suggested to create separate profile for dependent, I can try that but do I have to pay the fee again for the dependent? Please advice.

I am able to see my payment reference but I am not able to reschedule. Also I am not able see the MVR payment details in new appointment letter. The old one has it.. Issue says - Your MRV fee payment has not yet been processed. Please allow 24 hours from the time payment was made for system processing.

Hi, My wife made a profile of our 8 months old baby for L2 dependent VISA. I already have a L1 Visa. When I created profile of my baby using his passport details, and my petition receipt no. After payment of fees, his name was in receipt. But when receipt start appearing on portal. The applicant name was changed to mine. Now when In raised the case, they closed this profile and receipt is not appearing now . We have raised multiple cases, but not receiving any satisfactry response. Please help.

I got dropbox appointment confirmation email from new portal with my wife passport number with **** and last 4 digit, I am not sure how this got mapped, but I gave all my passport details are correct in DS160 and new visa portal application, when I take print confirmation page with view full passport number (after clicked eye icon ) it is showing my passport number. Before clicking the eye icon my wife passport number **** with last 4 digit is showing. Will it be any problem in the biometric OFC with my wife passport number in the email appointment confirmation?

Hi Shachi, As you mentioned that for Dependent we can create separate profile and select same date and time for Visa appointment as Primary applicant. My question is.. in this case, can my mom & dad go together for an interview at the same window OR they need to go separately at different windows since appointments are scheduled from two different profiles? There is a button for Reschedule on the usvisascheduling website but not sure about it. I created ID in DS-160 form and filled first page of personal details and clicked on saved option. The site then logs out automatically. I'm trying to log in right now using my ID, the security question, etc., but I'm having trouble. Does my data get saved? What shall I do? Can I make a new DS-160 ID? Kindly recommend me.

I have a scheduled appointment for Sept 6th (OFC) and Sept 9th (Consular) and when I tried to schedule my appointment and see many slots open in Aug, Sept and Oct. Hi, Thanks for the video and voicing the concerns of many. I tried to create a new profile with the sign up option. And when I start a new application and submit it, Im getting an error message that "your personal details matches a profile already existing in our database. The user ID of that profile is{user_name}. If you created this profile in the past. Use Forgot password option in the login screen." I have not created any profile in the older portal as well. The previous stamping appointment was taken care by my previous employer in last year 2022. Now I don't have access to my previous employer email address. Any idea how this can be solved? Hi Shachi Madam, I paid visa fee by debit card and reflected in the visa payment box $185/- . i am getting error while making confirmation for DROP BOX. in OFC APPOINTMENT. So again, i tried interview waiver button and now in payment box empty.

In order to schedule an appointment for her we need to delete her from primary and create a new profile for her,But the application is not having Manage dependents section,How do i proceed
Issue faced by me is as follows. When I made my application for Visa in November 2023, I was given an Interview Waiver Appointment because my earlier Visa had expired in Feb 2020 and I was eligible for the same. However when I went for the appointment on 8th May 2024, the counter staff refused to take my documents as according to them on date of Interview Waiver Appointment, I was not eligible for Interview Waiver. They told me that I should take an appointment for Interview and that there is an option on my profile to reschedule an appointment. However there is no such option on my profile and the support staff have not been able to give me any clear cut guidance on this. On the profile you can reschedule your appointment only for the same category that is Interview Waiver. Since 8th May 2024 I have been writing emails to the support staff on a daily basis and they have also been responding but all their responses are vague and pointless. Is there any way I can ask for a refund of Visa Fees so that I can then make a new application and get an Interview Date.

@@soumitrapal2091 create a new application and add the dependent (but with wrong passport & different email). After your create dependent profile, go back and edit it correctly. This worked for me.
Hi. Nice video. I am having trouble rescheduling my appointment too. I have one more try left and 1 year validity for visa is still there. but the system does not allow me to to so. I tried contacting customer service and they said to email. But email response comes as a standard reply and guidelines.

While filling out my application form, I wrongly entered my details again under dependents. I closed the applications and started a new one. Now , I get another error that says
"your personal details match a profile which already exists in our database". I changed my passport number on the passport biodata page initially as you suggested in this video (I have entered the correct number on my DS 160 form), and it let me proceed to the payment page. My question is, will I be able to make changes to the passport biodata information once I have made the payment? In your video you said we could go back and edit the profile, I'm just not sure where we can do this. Please help clarify this.

Hey, it worked for me. You can do that on Manage Dependents page where you see all your dependents added. There is a dropdown button for each of the dependents right below the Plus sign. When you click on that dropdown button you se various options and one of them is 'Edit applicant profile'. Click that and you will go to page where you can edit the passport number and click update. Thats it. Thanks to @Shachi.

@ShachiMall I just filled first page of DS160 and used DS160 reference number to book the slot, now I'm trying to complete the DS160 form but upon retrieving the application it shows Expire date as Oct 31, 2023. Now my question is can I proceed with same application by ignoring expire date because visa slot booking portal doesn't have option to update new DS160 reference number. One more question is while filling DS160 I selected Hyderabad for visa where as while booking I selected Delhi for Biometric and Kolkata for Visa Interview? When I click on the reschedule button, the calendar throws an error of "No slots Available" and the calendar icon is disabled, not showing any future or past dates (available or non - available). Hi Shachi, I don't have surname in my passport. I have written FNU in the first name section in DS-160 form. Should I also write FNU in given name on CGI Portal and my name in surname? Also at the time of payment It is not accepting the space between surname as I have to fill the given name in the surname.
It is accurate to add your name in the surname section and add FNU in the Given Names section of your DS160 form.
