I am 16 years old. Don’t be decieved, I’ll tell you guys a secret. I’m not actually Kermit the Frog. But when I was a kid I watched all of these videos because of my brother, he got me really into youtube back in 2008, and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. Freddiew, CorridorDigital, and even Video Game Highschool. In that time, I was the biggest fan of Corridor and I always will be. My mother is a photographer and video editor, so seeing how this stuff is done and seeing people do it so well just makes me smile. I love all of you guys and your work. Since I was about 7 I have been watching you guys, and your content never disappoints.

Easy. I've been a fan back when dubstep guns was brand new. The content you all create within the channel, second channel, and even NODE has been the highest quality I've seen from youtube and the way you guys interact and connect with the audience makes me feel like I'm part of the team in a way. You guys are legitimately having fun with each other and it seems like you mostly have a lot of fun together. How can you not watch that? It feels like a reality show at times, but a more genuine one. You guys are all hilarious and really mesh with each other well. You're all passionate with what you do. Me:
    Have you seen your content?

  • @na__cho

    "Why do you watch?"
Well, personally I started in the FreddieW era, actually following freddiew and not you. I loved the VFX, but then kinda forgot about it for a couple of years
A couple of years ago, I wanted to see what freddieW was up to, and I didn't really like his new content, such as VGHS, but then I remembered you guys existed, and you kept on doing cool VFX on UA-cam, so I started following you again, only for the VFX videos.
Part of the spark that got me into what I do everyday and love so much, which is VR development, was influenced by Node videos, in which I found about Brandon and the VR games he was making at Stress Level Zero, which is also such a memorable phrase from back in the 2010s with FreddieW videos
So up to that point, my main interest was the VFX videos and of course SLZ, AND THEN You started with the deep fakes, the VFX Artist React, and other very viral videos that made me actually look past the VFX and into the daily life at Corridor and also the very interesting people that work and create amazing things there. You guys are awesome. PD: if somebody reads this, tell Wren he's gotta try my VR game, I know he loves Beat Saber!
I think those are the main points that make me say I really love Corridor, but of course your work still is amazing and keeps on getting better.
You guys are like cool teachers, even though I don't apply myself all the cool VFX and 3D things I learn, you get me into learning and growing as a professional
Thank you for these 10 years! and here's to another 10!

Saw "MINECRAFT: The Last Minecart" 9 years ago, and have kept tabs ever since. When I found out about the Sam & Niko channel, I started watching all the vlogs and became hooked.
I actually just realized that within those 9 years is acting in my first highschool play, and having a principal role on a Netflix show. Now, I'm mostly sustaining myself off of acting, and I've got you guys to thank for making such wildly inspiring content. Me and a couple friends were even set to shoot our own webseries called Degen City, but then the pandemic happened. Everyone in our crew looks up to you guys, though! So if any of y'all end up reading this, thank you so much for all your hard work. It's been cool growing up along side y'all.

to answer Niko's question of why:
I've been following you guys for about 7 or 8 years. I found you through Freddie's channel, which I also followed pretty closely. You guys had some of the coolest effects, ideas, stories, and community that I had ever seen and it's only gotten better in every way. It's crazy to see you guys going through life and I think to myself "man, they are so cool, they have so much fun, I envy them so much", and then you turn the corner on a new part of life and I think "man, they are just like me..."
It's been a huge influence in my life, from the way I get inspired, to the way I get through tough times, to the fun things I can share with others. You guys aren't just artists to me. You're role models. I don't love everything you guys have made or do, but I love the reasons and the way you do everything. The journey has been so much fun and there are so many ways that you guys have either influenced or mirrored my own life that I don't really know how to put it into words. I continue to watch you guys because you inspire me, you comfort me, you educate me, you entertain me, and most importantly, you make me think. I love to see you guys grow and succeed, and even if I have not contributed to that in a large way, I like to think that my views, likes, and the occasional comment have somehow helped or made an impact. Even if it's not true, you guys give it the opportunity to matter, and that's more than you might realize.
I love you guys the same way I love my best friends, even if we've never actually met. One day I might get up the courage and set aside the resources to come say hi and introduce myself, but until then, I'll just keep on enjoying your content...

"Why do you watch?" Well, Wren posted a "fire hands" tutorial that I recreated in my video reel which literally got me my first job in video production, my boss hired me specifically because I could do that effect. And I saw how you guys continued to prove time and time again that you CAN continue to innovate in your work, you CAN continue to learn new skills, you CAN create something meaningful and make a career out of it, you CAN love the people you work with, you CAN create and grow a successful business with your friend, you CAN stay friends with people for decades, you CAN have fun working hard on something. Ya'll have been inspiring and genuine from the get go, and it's helped inspire me to work jobs I never thought I could do. I've been a TV broadcast director for a couple years now and it's largely because ya'll show that we CAN do what we think we can't.

You're intelligent, grounded, young guys with unique - and kinda geeky - creative skills. That sums it up.
I'm 19, been watching since a time I didn't properly know how to use the internet to get to "that website with the videos" (I just knew I liked Mario and Pokémon). We don't have many actual male role models these days - celebrities don't give insight into experiences, and more and more, guys being guys is ostracised anyway - and each member of the crew is a man to look up to in a way.
Niko's calm and wisdom. Sam's straight-forwardness. Jake's maturity. Wren's excitement and engineering background. Clint's dedication and artistry. (That is of course not mentioning Nick and Cmikes etc.) You provide grounding for young viewers. That's why we keep watching.

    Dear Corridor,
I started watching you guys because I saw a group of guys that I could relate to. I've always wanted to get into the film industry, and I'm currently about to go to college for just that. I knew that VFX was something I was gonna have to learn if I wanted to get anywhere with the movies I wanted to make, so I started looking up VFX tutorials. As I was scrolling down the videos, I saw an old one that I had seen a long time ago called "The Glitch." I re-watched the video and decided to dig deeper to see what else you guys did. Fast forward a week later and I subscribed to all of your channels and I became hopelessly hooked on you guys. VFX artists react quickly became my favorite series because it taught me so much about the effects that I wanted to be able to do for the stuff I was trying to create. I think the most amazing thing was the fact that I found myself relating to you guys on a personal level, which was a completely unexpected turn of events. Your laughter became my laughter, your sadness became my sadness, and your moments became my moments. I really felt like I was part of a crew that, in reality, I had never even met before. You're a cool group of guys, and if this college thing pans out, I hope to work with you in the future! Good luck moving Niko!
    With much love,

But actually, I watch Corridor Crew to gain knowledge of behind the scenes of vfx and the techniques used to make them, and how they could be fixed. Also Wren, he's very cool and teaches interesting things such as making drones and how ludicrous exponential growth can be, especially with something like a virus (which shall not be named).
I watch Corridor digital to be entertained, from "Tiny Guns", to "Tacticool reloads", to "There's an alien on your head!". It's fun watching the videos themselves as well as the improvement of the team behind them.

I loved the 2010 era of UA-cam VFX videos. I started with FreddieW but when Corridor Digital was formed after, I subscribed in a heartbeat. How can I resist more of the same content? Plus I thought it was very cool that you guys had a second channel that was giving out VFX tutorials at the time and even inspired a few of my friends in college to shoot random skits together for our own enjoyment. Ngl over the years I started to loose interest in the main channel as Freddie's channel started uploading less frequently. The bond between you guys during your studio 4 days was kept me interested in what everyone is doing and seeing where everything would go. When NODE came to be, I watched every single upload as it comes out. The same with Corridor's second channel when it started ramping up to become Corridor Crew. Seeing a glimpse of what goes behind the scenes imho was a lot more interesting than what goes on to the main channel at this point. Plus the uploads were a lot more frequent. Seeing the final product on the main channel feels like a very good bonus. In the past 2 years, I feel like the Corridor Crew had become even better and diverse. Now we're getting educational videos, VFX breakdowns, and random challenges on top of a behind the scenes of their main uploads all from a single channel.

Hell, I didn't even really practice editing a bundle of footage into a cohesive story until the first time you guys did open applications for editors and I didn't start teaching myself After Effects until the second time you guys did because I felt I needed to step up my game and push further. And talking about how I found it and showing the first video that I watch years ago which was the Minecraft and some of the newer videos. Like rust, r rated movies, and rust. It’s fucking awesome looking back on these moments.

Like so many others, growing up in a small town, I didn't have resources to go to film school, have access to a lot of gear, and most importantly other humans who had similar passions. I was able to go to college but couldn't afford a school with an actual film department so I quickly learned that if I wanted a chance at a creative career, I would need education from somewhere else. Thanks to y'all and other amazing channels, I was able to have access to talented creatives who could help me progress to where I needed to go.
Really, thank you. I know you all were first and foremost following your passions and trying to pave a way for yourselves but the best thing about UA-cam is you brought a community of creators along with you. We were experiencing many of the same things you were going through. We were hitting similar roadblocks of not knowing if there was a future for us or how the hell we would carve a path for ourselves in this world. Being apart of this community helped us continue to push forward in a time when the industries we wanted to live and work in were changing under our feet. Thank you.
    To the next 10 years.
    Cheers.

"Why did you listen to tell a story of corridor"
It's because I personally have been a fan of your works. I think I started watching your videos back in middle of 2012 and was amazed by the effects and wanna learn a little bit of how to make a good effect and what's important to know about filmmaking. Love from Sweden and stay strong in times like this

Tbh I kinda smiled hard. Thinking that a little sliver of my childhood somehow made into all the way to their coin bucket in LA and has probably been there since Freddiew and CD were starting up 😌

5 years ago I watched your Call of the Wild videos. Those videos got me into Node and subsequently Corridor as well as D&D. Now, 5 years later, I play D&D as often as I can and watch all of your videos. Some videos really do seem like big-budget things with a group of 30 people, but it’s a group of very talented friends.

I've been watching since The last Minecart and Graphic Violence, I liked them so much I would download them onto a little 1 gig thumb drive to watch them at school when ever I was bored. I'm a prop maker, set designer, and monster make-up enthusiast now and though I wouldn't say Corridor help make me that (I was already on that track by then) It was fun to see what I felt were kindred spirits and I always hoped that one day you would make a call out for physical prop makers like you do with digital film makers. I'm a struggling artist, quit my day job 4 or 5 years ago and been scraping by thanks to peoples kindness, after seeing videos of you behind the scenes talking about your journey and path to where you are, I would never give it up for the world. Its been a wonder to watch you grow in size, talent and maturity, I hope to continue to watch for another 10 years. Thank you so much for all the laughs, the tears, and awe inspiring moments.

    "Why do you watch Corridor?"
I've been following you since a long time and still does it today because of the passion you show in your videos.
May it be on the Corridor or Corridor Crew channel, you're always passionate, you do your best to be insightful and entertaining.
To me, that's your brand, you communicate with your audience your passion.
Passion for VFX, Passion for making the impossible real, Passion to teach, etc ...
You always impressed me, and continue to do so.
I still remember the Far Cry video of 2012, I think that must have been the point where I went: DARN those guys are awesome, I want to see more. Never left :)
Thanks for all the time you spend on the channel, on youtube ! You're all awesome !

I discovered Corridor Digital 10 years ago, with the Shoot Your Friends serie. I remember actually messaging you with VFX questions I had and you guys would always reply. Flash forward to now, I'm a senior compositor artist and I fricking love my job. I think I owe that to you guys. Thank you for everything!
