The HP lineup is my favorite gaming laptops because they look…. Normal!!! I hate the spaceship futuristic look of most gaming laptops. Lenovo and HP did it right imo
Real. Tuf has definetly improves the look of their machines. While they still try to make their machines look futuristic and slightly militant, as a whole they have tuned it down a bit their machines look better now.
Thanks for this comparison - it's very helpful. Saw a few people mention the screen wobble is not an issue for them, however the wobble at 6:33 during the webcam test is very noticeable and somewhat distracting.
I bought 2 Victus i5 11400 (RTX 3050). I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the performance of both. One, I maxed the RAM out to 32gb, the other is the base 8gb. The screen wobble does not bother me at all.
Got myself a victus - i7 11800H rtx 3060 16 gigs 3200mhz 512 nvme ssd man this thing is awsome...only down side for me is the speakers it aint that loud...screen wobble is just a conspiracy..youl not experience it if you use it on a table or if you use it properly...which most people tend to do....cheers mates...this thing is a beast 🥵🥵
Great video, thanks!!! However, it is a bit hard to compare features when the given test cases are different. For example, at 4:00 the mic is without cover and yet at 4:09 the cover was back on the mic. Similar for the webcam test.(High profile jacket on and off) Though, I may be just picking bones here and there. Nonetheless, again, thank you for the high quality video!!!
i got the hp victus 15 for 899$ with R7 5800H , RTX 3050TI , 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. i wouldve gotten the omen for its better battery life and build quality, but it wasnt available in my country and only older omen models were there with intel 10th gen and they were also 300$ more.
Very detailed review. I wish they have a better choices for the monitor on the Victus. If it's available the Victus would be a huge competitor against Legion 5.
Hi, I have a doubt... which one to choose between victus (i7- 11800 - Nvidia GeForce rtx3060 6gb, 16gb of ram and a 1tb ssd) and acer nitro 5 with the same specifications for photography and video editing? Do you think the wobbling of the display in the Victus is a big problem? Many thanks in advance. 😊
Go with hp...i have the same lap...its a beast man..the screen wobble isnt that big of a deal..these youtubers have made it into a big deal...if you use it on a fairly stable spot you wont experience any

Let’s be real, laptops do not need much to be a gaming pc anymore. Low to mid range GPUs can be more then enough and 16GB ram and NVMe now standard. Even todays CPUs are enough. Moores Law has absolutely slowed down for like last 3-5 years.

I'm offended that he doesn't open the laptop lids from the centre and keeps pulling it from the corner of the display. This puts pressure on the hinges, don't do this!
i got the ryzen 5600H cuz it was cheaper (bought it for 750 euros) and honestly i've been loving it so far, i just wish the colors were better but i really can't afford the omen since it's double the price
Scared to use Victus. Laptop glows red and power brick goes into meltdown after 5 minutes of normal usage. The noise is enough to wake the dead, avoid.

Thank you for that. I learned a lot. Still haven’t made the decision yet but…
