Mercedes M113 G500 Middle Exhaust Silencer removal and start up

The diesel G Wagen from the same era had an exhaust which did not have this silencer and as such the part can be fitted to the V8 petrol version to unlock some of the sound without creating too much extra noise (I hope). If it is not wanted then it can easily be returned to factory fit with the original silencer.

So the routing now goes: headers (connected to engine block), downpipes into catalyc converters (each side), then to silencer/muffler/resonator (more or less under each of the front seats), then crosses over to opposite side and out the exhaust tips, correct? The only things quieting down your exhaust would then be catalyc converter and silencer/muffler/resonator on each side which past the silencer/muffler/resonator, takes a "turn" to the opposite side (via bypass pipe you installed). Correct?
