Also by simply just unplugging it and letting it sit overnight will inure all electricity will be drained from electronic....but also just simply opening the monitor up and unplugging the hole menu button bar..idk..for me i controll everything from the computer anyways so that would be best..but yes i have this issue now and am going tto do that method if this fails..thanks
I have a problem with my monitor, and I wanted to know if you know how to fix it. I have unplugged it, reset settings, and turned it on and off many times and I keep getting this thing happening. The menu keeps popping up and it goes through the first setting and then exits the whole menu, only to open t again and again. It’s an hp 2511x monitor, any ideas?
MY SOLUTION: I tried this solution on my ASUS but no luck. My buttons are finger-touch. I had to remove the whole little bottom panel, disconnect the cable from the buttons' board and reconnect it again. problem solved.
Worked perfectly for my Viewsonic monitor was only a year old. Menu got stuck and would not respond to HDMI or VGA inputs
