These youngsters are already top notch musicians. 16, 17, 19 yrs old. Incredibly insane talented. Asterism don't need any vocals what so ever. They have instruments who can sing just perfectly 🤑🤜
None of the members sing, but they do some live collaborations with metal singers. The Satriani, Steve Vai, Dio, etc. influences are pretty obvious, but HAL-CA, the lead guitarist credits the Japanese metal band Loudness as her main inspiration to take up guitar. They just played a bunch of dates in and around SXSW in Austin last March. I was lucky enough to catch them at their one Los Angeles show before they headed back to Japan. It was at a small club, but that didn't stop them from going 'Full Throttle'. : ) Can confirm that HAL-CA is a force of nature, and also that they are super nice kids.
Damn they are good. I've been playing guitar for 38 years (more than twice as long as they've been alive) and I'm nowhere compared to them... Try Light in the Darkness by this talented trio.... Oh well back to the guitar practice.. 🎸🎸🎸
3 member band of Teens, Haruka the female guitarist was 15, the bassist, Miyu was 16 and the drummer, Mio was 19!!!, the strings are still in high school and about to do a tour in Korea. They are maligned for no vocals but this blend of Metal, Hard Rock and Jazz is so wicked good who cares. They got their 1st album, Ignition, funded on line and are still fan supported and do a lot of these battle sessions for FB along with their Club gigs to keep the fans happy and involved. This is a group on the way up and can only get better, Haruka took up the guitar at 10 so this was after 5 years of hard work, where will these kids be in another 5 years!!!!
A very good high school band! Hopefully our kids are stepping up. Damn, Japan is where Rock still lives. A 15 yr old guitar player that greatly impressed me

the girl that plays guitar alot and alot of people believe she is the best guitarist in japan by a mile i would put her number 2 behind Miyako from lovebites and ahead of Midori from lovebites
