Hal-Ca is a prodigy on her guitar, she is Joe Satriani, Steve Via, and Eddie Van Halen combined into one. HAL-CA started to play a guitar at the age of 10. MIO first touched drums when he was 5, and MIYU started to play a bass at the age of 7. All of them grow up, surrounded by Heavy Metal. When Hal-ca and Miyu were 13 years old and Mio was 15 they released their first EP and there is a song I am bonkers over 155 it is phenomenal, I fell in love with these kids and bought everything they have out there.
Incredibly good ! These Japanese musicians start playing together at a very young age. That's why at 16 or 17 years old they already sound like best-coordinated and experienced bands. The music of Asterism sounds very grown-up.
When I was in high school, no one played at this level. These kids rock! Outstanding riffs, excellent song writing. Fabulous solos from everyone. Rock is still alive in Japan.
You should also check out their live recording for the song "Got Your Back". It was recorded 2 years earlier when Haruka (guitar) was 13, Miyu (bass) was 14, and Mio (drums) was 16 years old.
Couldnt agree more to the valid question - "are they real?".... Do I dream of this? LOL. This is fairy-tale-magical-unreal-dreamland 80 level amazing skills ))
Thank you for the recommendation. These kids are sensational and this reaction truly appreciated the musical talents without the usual...where's the vocalist. Well done and they haven't even heard these kids LIVE in small venues where it is not ideal and yet they sound awesome. I know they recently signed with Baby Metal's label and I only hope that their fusion Jazz/Metal/Rock creativity isn't interfered with or they get saddled with a vocalist by the label.
@@jmetallover I agree with you, they are unique and don't need a vocalist. As another reactor said, "A singer would just f*** this up." Next up is exactly one of those basement fan-cams which should be shitty but they're still mind-blowing.
To the comment about their parents: the bassist and the drummer are brothers ... so ... yeah, that's gotta be a little overwhelming for those parents LOL
I wanted to start them off easy. If you start with something like "Dawn" you could induce a heart attack. And this one captures the concept of the band as they want it shown.
What? This song absolutely show's there talents. I get what your saying, but for the first time reactor this one is perfect! Love both of your suggestions btw!
Off topic. Falling in Reverse just released a “Revamped” version of their song I’m Not A Vampire. The OG song was off the same album as The Drug In Me Is You. It’s incredible. It won’t let me post the link in my comment 🤷🏻♀️
Encouragement, largely. A kid who shows any interest in music is usually encouraged to pursue it, given lessons, etc. And these were child prodigies when their age was single digits. As time went on they homed in on metal as their destiny. And here we are.
@@jacobusderottmann1000 Oh I agree with you. Japan seems to have an educational system that still values hard work in the pursuit of excellence and provides the resources for its most gifted kids as opposed to the uniform mediocrity that often appears to be the goal in the west.

Guys I watched your channel a lot. You reacted to musik I liked the most once in my life. From Eivør, Rammstein, Jeff Buckley. I noticed there is something you probably don't know it exists. Arkona. It has folk kinda vibes and 1 good show was: *Arkona - Zaklyat'e - Hellfest (live in Clisson, 2015)* You should give it a try. You might like it.
You guys rock🤘🤘🤘love your music & reactions🖤🖤🖤, can you please react to (Kai Tangata) by Alien Weaponry, 3 teenage boys from New Zealand who sing in my native language (Te reo Maori) you won't be disappointed!!! Love your energy & Keep doing what your doing...much love🖤❤🤘 from Aotearoa (NZ)

That song is one of the greatest pieces of art made by a human being, ever. Please do yourself a favor and listen to it, and please make a reaction to it! I would die to see you reacting to it!

The music of Asterism sounds very grown-up.
They have been playing together at least 11 years now
Asterism they are virtuosos guitar, bass and drums. Overall the best musicians are now in Japan.
The song Dawn by them live is incredible . The bassist and drummer are brothers and the trio have been playing together for years
When I was in high school, no one played at this level. These kids rock! Outstanding riffs, excellent song writing. Fabulous solos from everyone. Rock is still alive in Japan.
it was their first professional music video.
yeah - mind blowing is an understatement...

The next step of evolution in Japan rock
Help! My face melted!

Their song DAWN will blow your mind. The best guitar and bass players at the moment any where, in my opinion.
I love this. metal fusion
Nuclear Power Trio - new amazing instrumental project, highly recommended
I play bass. 7 strings like THAT would F me up... Peace!

Also, they are just as good live. It's insane!

I think she's playing a Yamaha Pacifica. Who needs a 1,000 dollar guitar?
She modded it a lot but yes she's still playing it!
I agree with Travis! Suzi looks beautiful... and in any color, too!
MONASTERIES - THE AMYGDALA CHORUS!!!
Next of asterism...Dawn
This song does not show their talents, please react to 《dawn》&《stars》, They will surprise you😜

they took the genes from Hendrix, Vai and Malmsteen and it was HAL-CA born in Japan
They covered BabyMetal’s Megitsuni when she was 13/14 and its badass as well .
Band Maid/Asterism/Lovebites......whats more to say.
It makes you wonder what the hell they're feeding them in Japan!

Hi from Italy, can you react to Steve Vai Building the Church? Thank you so much 💖 your are the best!!!!
This is like a reincarnation of Ted Nugent's song [Hibernation]. (if you remember the 70s). This is why I like Progressive Rock over Heavy Metal.
