really happy I got a Pint X. I was skeptical at first. But it truely is amazing. It's my first board and I have been going on trails the last few days after it arrived on Monday. I love it and I am happy to have it
@@OnewheelAsh my pint x is fun, I love how maneuverable it is and that’s why I got it but I’d never trade my gt for it, that extra top speed, the stock treaded tire option (for off road, even though I know there’s 3rd party options available it’s still ready out of the box) and the extra battery has been amazing. My gt is my baby but the px works if you really don’t have the extra grand to spend on a gt… you get what you pay more for though I’ll say that much
That's a great vid. I just got my PintX for my 67th birthday this week and am just riding up and down the street so far, but this is soo cool of a ride.
Honestly we tell people to do what makes them feel comfortable. In our experience fangs don't really ever save you from anything unless your going uphill. The wheels are so small and made of hard plastic that if the board gives out on you there is still potential to dig in and get hurt. But we totally get the piece of mind they bring.
Has anyone done a comparison between this craft and ride tire and that Hoosier 10.5 x 5.0-6 Treaded Tire? I can’t find it if they have. What are your guys thoughts on these two bc I’m looking to upgrade my PX? Thanks in advance 🙏
Totally! Completely different ride experience from the XR. There’s a couple essential upgrades though. 1) back footpad (I recommend the kush nug hi) 2) new tire. The stock tire is ok but there’s better options out there for sure.
just got my first ow and so glad I went with the pint x thing is sweet on trails! im still rocking it stock what kind of difference in ride do you feel with treaded and kush hi pad?
It’s a huge difference to be honest! Kush nug hi will give you a lot more control and room. The tire is a big upgrade as well. If you’re a trail rider I can’t recommend it enough.
@@carvecreative sweet Ill have to look into the tires just didnt like the sound of voiding warranty since im new to OW Any brands of pads that youd recommend I been dropping in off the side of banks and ledges and sometimes rocks hurt 😆😅
Yes it does. There are a few “warranties” on the board. There’s a controller warranty void sticker, battery box controller void sticker. Those are the main 2 that if are broken will void the warranty on those 2 areas of the board. The tire would technically void the warranty of the motor.
Got me thinking for sure. Like, imagine a set up with this but plus the rails and overlanders?? Like, would that just be the absolute best bc the control is amazing, its just not super stable. PLUS, did you see that side wall?? That's insane and going to be even better than the five inch hub on the gt.
I’ve got a JWXR Growler (soon to be Growler WTF with lift kit). How do you think this setup would perform off-road with the Burris-C&R All-Terrain? I’m coming from an XtraRad. Would this be a capable trail setup? I’m worried about loss of stability going from a 5.0 to a 4.5, but my thoughts are that the Growler WTF rails should alleviate that. Although if I put a a lift kit on, I’m back to normal height for my feet with increased nose/tail clearance, so that might negate the increase in stability provided by the WTFs? Your thoughts and recommendations?
@@carvecreative Did you at all feel unstable on the Pint on the trail vs XR, or is that overblown? I’ve had a lot of people tell me I shouldn’t bother with my Growler for trails and instead get a second XR or a GT for trails. Do you at all feel sketchy riding the trails on a Pint vs an XR, or is it all relative?
That’s a tough one! If you desire speed I would say the XR. If you have a foot size greater than size 12 I would also recommend the XR. If you want a little zippy pocket rocket go for the pint X. If you will be taking this thing on a subway or up a flight of stairs at work I would go for the pint x. They’re both awesome but each have their own perks! Let us know what you end up getting!
@@samwise9122 I did! I got a used one for 1400 with only 70 miles on it. Super stoked on it, will probably need to upgrade the tire because I do wish it was a bit more carvy
i just rode my friends xr that he got about a week ago used and i got up to 13 mph in my first half hour to an hour of riding and now i think i am going to get the pint x mainly because of the price but also because of the better features like the top speed which is almost comparible to the xr the wonderful battery life and the fact that it would be a really good trail board which is what i would use it for most of the time. i realized that when i was using my friends xr that it struggled to go up a small gravel hill at like 5-10% grade which i thought the pint x would be better at. can someone tell me if i am making the right choice and if there is anything better that would cost double the price of the pint x (i am not interested in the “gt”)
I have a pint X but debating whether or not to replace it with xr for my bigger 6'1" 220lb frame. But, I'm afraid of losing the uphill torque like mentioned in the video.

Technically theres more power and more torque from the Pint X. Better battery cells and improved stator. There is a group in the community that combines the XR and the Pint for the ultimate setup. Its called a Prowler. But the Oneweel GT will be the ultimate seup. 😁
@@carvecreative what is "improved" on the stator ? I assume more magnets ?? Respectfully intended but more cells means nothing to the output voltage unless they are adding them in series, which unless I'm mistaken the pint x is a nominal 55.6 volts and a peak in rush of 60.3volt no? ( 15 cell x3.6 per ) its possiblle that I've got my numbers off as 8ve not seen a pint x in person as of yet.. I do know it has less clearance, and less footprint tire ( smaller diameter ) so less torque if all other things were equal. I ride cbxr xr right now, will be testing it against the gt when it arrives. :)
