I've had a torn abductor...played with a torn abductor as a receiver many years ago ("I'm an old man now). It's a weird injury. Doesn't always hurt, it creeps up at the worst possible moments. You can feel ok, even perfectly fine, in many positions and then, if the leverage is just a bit askew, it can result in severe, almost debilitating pain. As a receiver, I didn't block as much as the TE obviously and was going against smaller people in the corner or safeties, so I can only imagine the pain George went through with as many blocking assignments that he had in a typical game and with him often blocking bigger men. He's an amazing dude.

Vic Fangio was available yet again and the 49ers went w/ Sorensen... A DB coach when the 49ers defense was built around the front 7. Saleh and Meco were Front 7 guys and had great run defense. I'm not worried about the offense while 19 points in regulation is extremely troubling considering Shanny has never scored more than 30 on Spags' defense, i'm more worried about the Defense. Their last DC didn't have synergy with the teams strengths. Bosa has been struggling because of this.
