I just bought the Vidar 2 due to TeeJays video review and he was correct sounds amazing with my Kef Ls50 Metas. The imaging and fullness and precise details are much better than orginal vidar even the bass is heavier and the dynamics are much better. He was correct everything is better with vidar 2 just wanted to say thank you Jason for making audio affordable and built in the USA 🇺🇸 I can hear why he gave away his 1st award on his channel that sold me, I am super happy
@@christophergaus3996 ive been using tube receivers with great results. I hope the fang isn’t too transparent, or solid state sounding. That was my worry. I get 40 watts into 8 ohms with my vintage equipment, so I don’t know if the folk can handle a bass boost
I wish I had known this interview was coming. I would have asked if the Syn will ever be offered in silver. It's one of Schiit's very few pieces not offered in this color.
Glad my Mjolnir 2 (which I've had for only a year--purchased pre-owned from head-fi) isn't being made obsolete in any way shape or form by the Mjolnir 3.
The volume control used in Ayre's KX-5xe is only $140USD. Dead silent, SOTA. I'd wager people would gladly fork over another 200 for this premium volume control. Kara has sound to die for, as good if not better than C49 IMO but like every Freya, when you reach 2 o'clock each click becomes a scary BIG jump in volume along with nice dropout between steps if you go too slow. Come on Jason, hook us up- the top of the mountain is so close now bruh.
The new Mid Engine Corvette is the only ICE car I would buy if had the $$$!!! I Love that car!!! It’s the only ICE car that can hand with my TESLA Model 3 Performance for the price! Amazing Vehicle!!!

I got a small silence on the other end and then.... a comment to be patient as they are considering other products. Of course, they must have already been down the path on it. Can someone explain the benefit of USB in and out? Does it affect sound quality? I have a Modius, so I assume I can just plug the URD into the DAC via USB and all good?
Yes, but AVR menu navigation is a tedious chore. Also, not every movie has a great surround mix, with Syn, you control the surround, basically you dial in the mix to your own tastes.
If Schiit could make an analog device equivalent to Apples spatial audio technology, this would be a game changer. We can't just have "ONE" option at the market - Smyth Realiser A16 for over $4k. Mean yes, Apples spatial audio is great but only available within the ecosystem which sucks.. big time. You can't watch your own physical media for example and have the benefit of the spatial audio nor have the choice of picking your own headphones and gear.
Jason needs to start drinking some good bourbon during these interviews/media events. They wouldn't go so long because he would pass out. I recommend Wilderness Trail Small Batch.
couldnt send my schiit syn back fast enough ....spend less time drinking merlot and more time putting a half ass decent headphone amp in your products never wasting money on anything from you guys again also a 15% restock fee plus shipping both ways on seller is a joke also the product build quality is ass yall couldnt even line up the usb c brackets ....bottom tier product for over taxed "made in America " prices
