    Definitely a professional looking method of attaching cord to large buckles. Your tutorials have been very helpful to improve my bracelet crafts. I'm hoping to start selling my work at the local swap meet once I get a decent inventory. Hopefully by the first weekend of next month I can get down to business. Currently I'm barely scraping up a few sales on the street but have high hopes of doing better once I can afford to rent a spot at the swap meet. Thanks for taking the time to provide such useful videos.....

    I am just wondering what kind of bracelet you are going to make that is going to need this many cores it must be one hell of a behemoth. Looking forward to it!

    How do you determine the length of cord needed for a 6 strand core based off of how long your bracelet will be? By the way, I love your videos!

      Usually, I pick another cord and make around 3 cms or ~ 1 inch of bracelet weave. Then I mark the two end of that cord then take it out to have a reference length.

    I love this tutorial. Tim, how long cord you use for this example 6 strand double cow hitch knot? I want to modify it as my key fob knot.

      Hey there thanks! I don't really remember how much cord I used, I'm guessing around 60-70 cm?

    Have you ever made lanyards for tools or knives so they won't get lost in the woods? I tend to use non natural colours that can't be found in the forest.

      Ohh that's a great idea Simon. High visibility colors like neon orange I guess would work best. I haven't done any yet, but I'll keep that in mind for the future.

      I don't know the exact number, but luckily I've worked with some great suppliers that have sent me paracord for free or at a discount.

    What size buckle would be the minumum to fit the 6 strand core?

    • @TheCheshireCats
      @TheCheshireCats 7 років тому

      3/4 inch buckle i would wager. Any smaller it would be a chore stuffing all the strands through the holes.

    hey, I'm a gaming channel, but I'm doing a video where I'm making a paracord bracelet based on Rachel Amber's bracelet from Life is Strange. I was just going to let you know I'm going to link this vid in my description because I'm using this for the core. i won't be using any clips from this video, but I will tell them this is the tutorial I used. is that ok?

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  7 років тому +1

      That's not a problem at all, please feel free to link to my tutorial.
