    I am VERY grateful for this video because I'm new to it and I live all the way in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 so supplies is VERY limited and a bit costly so bring in. I have been trying to figure out how to have way less wastage.... And still get the perfect fit! Thank you so much

    This is a very useful to start to MANY bracelets to eliminate an end to burn and hide at the end and, according to me, get both ends to look the SAME. I just used it to make a fishtail bracelet and it came out great.

      That's great Donna! That's what I love about it too and that both ends of the buckle look the same. It prevents OCD! lol

    You can work the cord so that the splice is hidden by the buckle.

    Is there another way of joining the two ends other than melting? Anyway the manny method could be done?

    Awesome tutorial, as always! A couple of things, though...
    Would it be easier to just form a bight (sp?) on either end and just pass it through?
    Also, would this now be considered a double girth hitch?
    Just a couple random questions for ya. Keep on rockin'!

      Thanks and yes you're right you could just do the turks head through the first end. As for double girth hitch, I'm not familiar with that term, but it might be? Thanks for watching and commenting!

      a girth hitch is also called cows hitch. I just heard it for the 1st time recently myself. thats probably the #1 irritant about knots. each one can have several names...

    What length of paracord did you use for this? Been trying to get it right and mines too small or too big

      I made this video quite a while ago so I don't remember unfortunately. I would use double the amount of my wrist measurement and then add a few extra inches for the hitches.

    I want to know why I can’t join the two melted ends together? They just fall apart all the time and my fingers start to stink of melted paracord lol 😂

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  6 років тому +1

      There is a chance you're using one strand of polyester paracord and one strand of nylon paracord. Because they are different materials and do not join properly.
