Great Job Tim! Thank you for your tutorials.
Thanks. My son wanted one of these for a watch, now I can do it.
My favorite so far... I've only done a 3 Cobras and doing this one right know.
nicely done Thanks
I really love this making dog collars for my dogs will use this weave thank you
I REALLY ENJOYING WATCHING YOU ON YOUR VIDEO
AWESOME!!
Hey mate. Great channel and super videos. Your explanations are clear, quick and to the point. Great job. Thank you
on my to do list 😊
Bel lavoro, bravo!!
Anyone who wants to make this, realize that it is so thick it takes away from the inside diameter. So I would add an inch or so at least to the length to compensate for the extra needed space. I made a 7.5 inch and it wouldn't fit me which normally does. Was fun to make, a little tough holding the pattern but it looks good once it's done. My first attempt is a little loose, I am going to try to get the next one a little tighter. I used red and black for the outsides and glow in the dark for the "teeth". It looks pretty bad ass.
+J Wilford Thanks for pointing that out as I didn't really make note of that in the video. :)
curto muito esse canal. parabéns pelas artes
Good job bro..
Does that "6ft teal" includes the paracord used for the core?
I love your tutorials. On this one, though, I prefer the style Paul Youdelis uses, which really is like the fishtail. But always a great job, Tim. Thanks!
+tanalee09 Thanks Tana! What does the one that Paul Youdelis make look like? Do you have a link to a picture?
@The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Paul's is a shark jawbone, not dragon's teeth.
Bonito gracias
Also make more videos Tim!
I wonder if this looks better if you gutted the teal. I'm just going to have to find out!😊
I see you finally did my (limitless550) dragonteeth bracelet. Nice job on the tutorial.
So much better with a jig.
Heads up: the corrected measurements have been put in annotations, apparantly, and UA-cam doesnt show them anymore. A line in the description would be nice! Edit: just finished mine (18cm wrist/ 20,5 cm bracelet length) with 4,5m of the main color and 1,1m of the 2nd color. This gives enough length to manipulate the cord as well!
Fit: slightly too tight
Love the video but how do I determine how much cord to use for different sizes
So Tim... What is the actual measurement for the "Teal" cord... including the double-cows hitch, four cord core???
inner string lenght is ok, but you will need much more outer string (teal in this case) than 180cm. I needed almost 3m for 18 cm braclet, found that the hard way. Anyway i made it and it looks awesome, really awesome patern! :)
+Milos Cumic Hmmm... interesting. I'll double check the amount I used. But anyways, glad it worked out in the end for you! I really like this pattern too. :)
erm....can I replace paracord with other round cord strings? Will th effect still be the same?
I took 190cm for the main cord and it wasn't enough for 17cm bracelet size
Tim fantastic work as usual any chance of a tutorial on the cyclone wrap cheers bud
+Gazza I've seen that pattern and it looks sweet! Thanks for the recommendation, I'll add it to the list! :)
@The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials where do you purchase your paracords? that teal paracord looks good!
I want one but can it be without buckle?
Can you leave a link for the wood I don't know what you call it and nettles for the paracord
Great, thanks for sharing your art, I'm thinking how can stay with camo paracord?
What would be the best way to to this with the knot and loop method? Thanks!
This is a great tutorial and I absolutely love this look! However, I believe the measurement on the primary color might be off. I used the exact same measurements (we have the same wrist size) but about halfway through I ran out. Other than that I just wanted to let you know I love your videos! Keep up the good work!
+bwarmuth13 Hmmm. ok I'll adjust the cord length. Thanks for pointing that out!
Same here, I have had to weld an extra 30/40 cm on each side of the main color strand.
Also, with a big stiff buckle like this, with my usual measurement, I ended up with a very stiff and too tight bracelet because it is pretty thick too. So I recommend adding a good 10mm/15mm to your usual no buckle or flatter design bracelets.
Great tutorial. Clear, efficient and inspiring. Much better than some others out there! Thank you
@The Butcher I noticed how thick is was, so I'm gutting the primary color on mine.
Hi Tim sorry to bother you again but if my wrist size was 6 and a half inches, how much more length should I add?
Does anyone know how wide it is and what size buckle?
how many metters do I need?
Hi ! im a big fan of snake knot and i love your videos ! Could you make a video on how to make a thicker snake knot ? thank you!
what is the jig you are using
Cuantos metros de cable usas entre los dos colores
Does the general rule of one foot of cord to one inch of bracelet still apply here please. Brilliant vid looks really easy to follow
+Chris Singer Not in this one. My measurements were a little off in this video. I annotated the amount I used.
how much do I need to make it my wrist is 8in
hi tim, how do measure the size of the bracelet correctly as when you make the weave, the bracelet gets thicker. how do you make sure that the bracelet isnt tight on the wrist
+Christian Boey Hey Christian, I'm going to be doing a video on sizing very soon. But as for a general rule of thumb, I usually add about a half inch for thicker bracelets and a quarter inch for thinner bracelets. I'm actually not the greatest at sizing though to be honest. :P
for the Dragon teeth bracelet with buckles
Hey Tim , found this channel some days ago and got into the Paracord "Crafting". I really want to do your Paracord Dragons Claw Bracelet but i got some questions. When i googled for the right colors (Orange/Green and Grey) i got on Sides and there were like 550 Paracord Type III , Paracord 425 Typ II and so on. Whats the meaning of them and which do you use/would recommend. Hopefully you can help me with that :D And greetings from Germany
+Blazing Clan (DE) Hey there! The 550 and 425 stand for the amount of weight the paracord can hold before it breaks. So usually the higher the number the thicker the paracord. The paracord that I use is 550 paracord, but it's entirely up to you and what kind of look you want. If you like thinner bracelet's, I'd go with 425.
How to do it using a shackle???
How much oh paracord do you use?
Hey Tim
My daughter really want's to make this bracelet, in the colors of her girl scout troupe. So she can wear it at meetings and camps. But the only trouble I have finding is the tool you use at the end of the braid. What is that, and where can we buy one?
Thanks
Staermose
+Jakob Staermose Hi Jakob, the tool that I use at the end is called a fid. You can buy them on ebay or amazon. I'll be doing a promotion with a paracord supplier soon so stay tuned! :)
So how do you like that jig? Love to hear your opinion on it. Oh, and thanks for the tutorial... :)
+Elwin Ransom It's been alright so far. It's not perfect though. I just might do a review on it in that case. :)
+The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials - We need reviews on commercial jigs. There aren't any to speak of (most are just commercials from the company that make them or sell them), and they are a substantial purchase for some folks. Having watched many of your knife reviews (yeah, I love 'em too.), I think you'd do a great job. Thanks again!
can you please send me a link for buying the buckles?
Links for all materials used in the video are in the description. :)
hey Tim,I like this one a lot. but I wanted to ask something else.
the song on the end?may I know the title? every time I hear this a voice inside is yelling to make a dubstep version, with all respect for the song ofcourse
cheers
Hey Clive, the song is from youtube's royalty free music library. I think its called "Parabelly"
Plz make a vid of how to make one without using buckles
Is there a way to make it without using any buckles?
I just finished my tutorial for this bracelet without buckles, it will be going up in the next few days.
so, I used a foot extra of each color (my wrist is thicker than yours apparently) but for some reason have ran out of my primary color less than halfway down the length of the bracelet. why could this be happening? could it be the tightness of the cord?
+TheDoormanMusic It could have been the tightness of the knots, but perhaps my measurement was off. But if my measurement was off, it would not have been off by that much.
+NHG Risk okay so i re-did everything, for 20cm circumflex you need ~12ft primary color and 4.5-5 ft secondary color
I want to make this in a 18 inch dog collar but having a problem figuring out the needed material. HELP!!!
Hmmm... that's going to take a lot of cord. 18 inches is roughly 3 times the length I made here, so maybe try multiplying by three?
Tks so much! That gives me an idea of what I need. Everything I make is collars so I go through ALOT of cord :)
can you do a anchor charm using a paracord because I wanna make one but I dunno how and maybe you can do a tutorial how to make one.
I ran out of paracord so I just loosens the teeth and it work
Greets from Serbia, sorry for my bad english, I just want to ask witch size of buckle you use often? For this project ...
Latest attempt, being less scared of not having enough cord:
3,8m main color
1,4m secondary color
18cm wrist
Bracelet length 23 cm including buckle, 19 cm without.
Fit: too wide
Tim >.< where do u get ur paracords? i cant find them at Fred Meyers or Walmart or stores like those where can you get them?! Please see this message >
+fung shee I get most of my paracord online from Amazon. Buy Atwood Rope or RW & Co.
Hallo, very nice bracelet, but can find the link to startup. Can you give me the link. Thanks in advance, Michael
I thought the beginning and ending sections could have been a great deal more explanatory.
The one thing I don't like about your videos is you do not include finished length, for how many feet of cord used. It would really be nice to see for example 6 feet of color a, b, c, 4 feet of color d for a 7 inch bracelet. That would help those of us mathematically inclined to figure out how much is needed for larger or smaller bracelets.
At 1:13 I have it listed in the video of the lengths of paracord I use. As well as the finished length...
This just stresses me out, it says "6ft" teal, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE ANYTHING WITH 6FT TEAL!
Love your videos yoy. You my nigga.
I had 200cm for 19 cm Bracelet. And at 2/3 of weaving i saw that the 200 cm are 100 cm to short.
Yeah, I put an annotation on the measurements to correct them. Did you have annotations turned off?
sorry but why you show not how you beginn?
+Simon Srnka I've done a separate tutorial on how to set that up.
