- 2015 BMW S1000R | Quick Ride & Review
Dukes and Duchesses!! What a day, oh what a lovely day it was. As the video states, this is my first ride and review of the 2015 BMW S1000R, and I was and remain seriously impressed. The Tuono will always have a very special place in my heart, but this is an especially refined machine.

Huge shout out to Motorcycles of Dulles for letting me take this beauty out for a spin, and for generally being awesome. Please check out their website, and stop by their location if you are in the Northern Virginia area.

Pick mine up on Thursday swapping from a street triple r... cant wait. great review bud
Good review. Just one question. In a test drive can you put a couple of gallons of fuel or you are not allowed to do that. I wanted to see more of your review. Were you able to test at 60+MpH too see the wind effect. I do have a 45 miles commute (one way) and I wonder if it's comfortable.
I have one of these. That popping seems to be a BMW thing. It's a great bike. I'm going do a comparison to the new Tuono myself.
Due to my brain tumor, I can't ride anything with two wheels anymore. My balance is fvcked up now. So I live vicariously through your vids.
Nice channel mate!
I'm considering either the Tuono or S1000R myself and watched your reviews with interest (very good, honest reviews too)... and I had a question:
mate you need to try out the Tuono 1100 and report asap!
Hi I notice that you blip the throttle on downshifts, do these have a slipper clutch? That should negate the need to blip on downshifts. I used to do it by habit on my rsv4
Great reviews. I've watched them all several times. Seeing if you could help me decide which bike to get. I've been riding sportbikes my whole life, just sold my speed triple and looking at the S1000r or XR. How bad is the wind on the R at highway speed? Which bike would you recommend? I live in Dallas. For commuting and highway ridding. No long tours or anything over 2 hours. Thanks bud.
2015 Tuono's were redesigned with new headlight assembly and 1100cc engines. Yours looks like the 14' to me. It might be because I'm from Missouri but I'd be curious to see the manufactured date. But besides that. ..you do really great videos and your endings are pretty funny! What mic setup were you using? It did a great job of keeping wind noise to a minimum.

Nice gloves man. What is the brand they would match my jacket perfectly.
Hey! Which do you prefer. The tuono v4 or the s1000r?
Excellent review. However the stock exhaust doesn't do this thing justice in the sound department.
Hey, was the bike really buzzy? I've been hearing that a lot of about these.
How was the windblast on this bike?
Great machine, I wrecked mine 2 weeks ago, so I'm looking on upgrade; I used to own a Yamaha fz09,2015.How much is the base price$ ?
