Mercedes W460 Gwagen door not closing properly, lock replacement

The front door would not regularly close cleanly. I replaced the door striker on the B pillar which was a little better but still not good enough. It was determined that the lock was the cause (thanks TJ!), so I decided to replace the existing one with a used one fro a Gwagen I wrecked years ago. This fixed the problem nicely. I note that before all the bits are put back on the door, it doesnt close as nicely until you put everything back on it as the weight must help. To replace the lock, you need to strip the door of basically everything as you cant get the lock out with the window in. This is how I did it as a hobbyist, not a professional mechanic!
