My brother in law passed away three years ago in AZ. He bought a 1970 Ford Bronco and has kept it its whole life. He has replaced the 302 CID engine three times. Just wore them out. My sister still has it in the valley of the sun. Completely stock and uncut.. three on the tree and runs great. Original green paint weathered by the sun in the southwest. He took good care of it. She is 76 now and drives it at least once a week. She gets crazy offers when she drives it around.
@jasonh4167 That's pretty AWESOME! We are pretty fortunate to have such a diversity in terrain here in Utah, like mountains, glaciers, forests, lakes, rivers, streams, springs, deserts, some red rocks and sand, some volcanic black fine powder dunes, white sand dunes, red sand dunes, it's quite amazing having all of them within a few hundred miles of each other, and some right next to each other!
I love those old bronco's. I'm 33 so i didn't grow up with 3 on the tree but still learned how to drive it. It definitely makes me realize how fun the older days were.
That Bronco was a beautiful site. Great shape and simplicity at it's finest. What a gem! And the wild horses were awesome too...and the Bronco...and the hoses...and the Bronco.......
I am curious as to why the Bronco needed a 'rescue'? Thanks for sharing all that awesome scenery, and the fun banter. You always make me smile. Howdy Justin. Hope to see You wheeling again soon too.
That old Bronco really was a look into the past. Simple but strong. The new one is complicated but complicated Lol!. Pretty impressive old gal. Sounded like it had a big V8 in it.
Nice to see ya out with Rory, Chris! One of the things I love about this channel.......Rory calling himself out on the engine damage splashing through the creeks. Beautiful scenery on all recoveries. Thank you for sharing
Too bad you guys can't have fun at work, looking at beautiful scenery, hangin out with good people....ahhhh. heehee!!! Now where'd I put my meds....any hoose! Thanks for another great vid!!!
Such a beautiful piece of history. Purchased a 23 for my wife, and have been able to enjoy it. My aunt had an early model with the hard body in the light blue. Always remember it outside of my great grandpa and grand pas bakery. Love the brand for nostalgia.
Hi All, I saw this in my feed and had to watch right away. My First vehicle was one of these Broncos, a 67' pickup that I drove to High School. I drooled over them in mags and when I can into some money my parents let me buy it as a slightly used vehicle. I had if for many years, I repainted to car show rig, then it became a Sand Drag race car with a Pro Stock 351C for mad power. It could never be restored after that and was parted out when sold I believe. I Blew the front diff, in mine from the old wheel hop issue, and wound up buying a replacement diff. from the man himself Bill Strope. Was there when the Panteras came off the docks. One of my first mods was to swap the 3 on the tree for a Hurst shifter. It was all downhill from there and I've owned 4X4s all my life. Enjoy your and the other tow rig and wheeler videos. I can't get out much. Still own an XJ. PSS loved the wild ponies
Nice. Seeing Rory ducking to see out the windshield demonstrates just how big he is. My dad had a 60 something Bronco with 3 on the tree. He didn’t have to duck to see and he was around 6’1”.
It's shocking how much smaller vehicles were back then. My brother just bought an old Chevy Nova and took me for a ride in it yesterday. It was a struggle for me to get into and I'm nowhere as big as Rory.
We had one of these when I was a wee kid. Mom bought it new, but sold it after an accident. Hit some black ice at highway speeds and awayyyyy we went. Note to self. Short wheelbase = bad in the winter. Handles like a hockey puck.
The scenery you guys get to work in still blows me away. I love the San Rafael Swell area so much and now Onion Creek clearly needs to be on my list of places to check out on my next Utah adventure. This channel always delivers (more than just old Broncos)
First time i was out wheeling, my neighbor had a old bronco, no roof, doors, mismatched bold 31". U could throw a cat anywheres through what was left of the body! We got stuck, got ourselves out. Broke down, fixed it ourselves, we where covered in mud! I was hooked rite there for wheeling. I was 14 then, I'm 48 now and still love wheeling!
Love the old Bronco, and you should bring Chris along more often. It was funny when she said no to drinking the bronco 😂😂. Great job everyone and another awesome video showing that you don't need a 1,000 hp for a recovery rig every time.
My grandfather had a bronco like that. Took me over Imogene pass in Colorado in it. Was such an awesome trip. Was the first 3 on the tree I ever drove. This brought back great memories.
Rory, another great video... That bronco, Man I want that for my collection....lol, Shawn and Mike however, well love those guys and Mikes shadow (thanks Shawn for that capture, was laughing my a$$ off when you were laughing .......LMAO 🤣🤣.
Nice to see you remembered the most important rule to wheeling with no power steering, Keep your thumbs out of the inside of the steering wheel. Nice to see
Great scenery where you picked up the Jeep, awesome pillars. I always wanted one of those Bronco's when they first came out, very old school compared to todays off-road vehicles.
Thanks for making. Remember pull the shifter towards you then out of 1st to neutral then push away from you that up into second. The linkages on the old Fords all needed to be shifted that way.
Mike and Shawn are a hoot! Loved that old Bronco and the wild horses. Also last but not least seeing Chris out with you was nice. Almost date night worthy. 🎉😊
It always amazes me how comfortable you and your friends always are on such beautiful, yet Treacherous trails! I'm definately a big fan. (I really love that ol' Bronco, to! It brings back memories of snapping our rear drive shaft on Old Goat Hill Road in PA!)
Wow what a day. Wild horses and spectacular views. Rory does have the best office in the world. BTW we definitely need more of Shawn giving Mike acting lessons.
Trail Mater crew out doing what they do best recovering stranded vehicles. So nice that Chris came along to keep Rory straight about crossing streams! Mike and Shawn always entertaining the viewers. Nice! Love it and the beautiful scenery!
Those old Broncos and International Scouts are my dream trucks. The horses were awesome. I only get to see squirrels or opossums crossing the street here in Fort Worth. lol Love listening to you guys laugh. Makes my day. Thanks for the video.
It is nice to see more of Kris in your videos. I enjoy the marriage banter 😂 Love the wild horses, appropriate since you are headed after a Bronco. Your my favorite channel. Keep up the good work!
Rory and Chris together are adorable. Love the way they look at each other. Mike and Shawn look at each other with a whole different look. 🤣 I love the way they look at each other too. Full of jokes and mischief. That old Bronco looks "fun" to drive. Kind of like the old Chevy truck I first drove in my first manual transmission experience. Not easy but doable once you find the gears. Lol. I love seeing the very basic but perfectly competent old school cars. Our cars are 20 and 30 years old and we dont want anything newer. I like to drive, not have computers and AI drive for me. That scenery is incredible! I miss the red red rocks that turn purple when wet from rain. Those formations and layers and color variances make my heart happy. If I wasn't tied 24/7 to my oxygen machine on high level, I'd definitely want to make a trip back there. Thanks for giving us all a virtual trip or two every week of the incredible beauty around there. Loved the wild horses!
Really good video of the ol' U14 Bronco. They were goats to their degree of fitness, even stock, in their time. Just goes to show how Bigga 'Ol Boy you are Rory!!!!
I got out of the Marine Corps in 1978. Within 6 months I bought my first Bronco, 1971 170Cube 6 with a 3 on the tree. Probably the toughest stock truck I ever owned. I've had a lot of 4x4's over the years, but it's still was my favorite
An early Bronco out with wild horses seems very appropriate!
Absolutely perfect!
I love it!
Bronco with mustangs
An uncut boxtop is a rare gem!
Even a Chevy lover loves an old FORD
My brother in law passed away three years ago in AZ. He bought a 1970 Ford Bronco and has kept it its whole life. He has replaced the 302 CID engine three times. Just wore them out.

You gotta love seeing the wild horses. Living the best lives they can.
I am fortunate to have wild horses not 40 min drive from my house. 🇨🇦🐎

@@wesman7837 plus don't forget about the wild Diamond Bill Rock Peckers too lol.
Never heard anyone that had the OG bronco not say I wish I had it back
Those old iron Broncos are still rad!
Rory driving in this reminds me of the Dad from the “Incredibles”driving his car lol 😂
It's nice to go back where we all came from to remind us where were going.❤🎉😂
The horses were cool!! I half expected to see Lizzie swinging a lariat rounding up the horses!!
Mike and Shawn are such a comical pair of guys. Love it.
An uncut early Bronco! Very cool to wheel that one!
I love those old bronco's. I'm 33 so i didn't grow up with 3 on the tree but still learned how to drive it. It definitely makes me realize how fun the older days were.

bronco turned rory into a bobble head for a minute lol!
Wild horses couldn't drag me away from a new TM video
That old Bronco really was a look into the past. Simple but strong. The new one is complicated but complicated Lol!. Pretty impressive old gal. Sounded like it had a big V8 in it.
Shawn is the perfect director to keep Mike the actor in line 🤣
Y’all-thanks for taking us along on these trips. Please don’t ever take the scenery for granted-it’s breathtaking.
Rory makes that Bronco look like a Samurai! LOL tight fit for the big guy.
Wow! Old Bronco with original rear wheel wells, very rare these days.
My dad still has his 67 Ford Bronco with the 289, 3 on tree. Love that thing.
Thanks for showing the horses; great scenery, as always!
Nice to see ya out with Rory, Chris! One of the things I love about this channel.......Rory calling himself out on the engine damage splashing through the creeks. Beautiful scenery on all recoveries. Thank you for sharing

Nothing says early bronco like a herd of wild horses. That’s awesome.
Those wild Mustangs are actually antique 4X4's!
Beautiful wild horses! Man you guys have an amazing backyard!
Good morning seeing Chris in the video was a good surprise. She is officially part of the team now.
I loved the old school bronco
Such a beautiful piece of history. Purchased a 23 for my wife, and have been able to enjoy it. My aunt had an early model with the hard body in the light blue. Always remember it outside of my great grandpa and grand pas bakery. Love the brand for nostalgia.
Now those look like my style of trails, beautiful scenery and no serious technical trail work. Awesome, love it, thank you! 😊

Always a riot while going out on recoverys with the Mator crew !!!.... NEVER a dull moment
You guys put out the best recovery videos and scenery!
Wild horses, an old school Bronco, and Mrs. Irish…. Excellent.
Nice. Seeing Rory ducking to see out the windshield demonstrates just how big he is. My dad had a 60 something Bronco with 3 on the tree. He didn’t have to duck to see and he was around 6’1”.

Im 6 foot 4 and 350 pounds. I feel Rorys pain in old 4x4s. I wouldn't fit.
I had a brief flash of Mr. Incredible in his little car. Nearly fell out of my chair laughing!
I had an old school Bronco in the 70's. I miss that ride.
We had one of these when I was a wee kid. Mom bought it new, but sold it after an accident. Hit some black ice at highway speeds and awayyyyy we went. Note to self. Short wheelbase = bad in the winter. Handles like a hockey puck.
Taikuu for the laughs and the beautiful scenery..

I just fell in love all over again. I had my hands on one of these old Broncos when I was younger and I let it slip through my fingers.
Nice to see you remembered the most important rule to wheeling with no power steering, Keep your thumbs out of the inside of the steering wheel. Nice to see
you guys have a lot of beautiful scenery where you are
Thank you very much for the footage of the wild horses. Kind of fitting you were going to get a bronco🤣👍
Those old Broncos are cool, I've always wanted one. Looks like it rides slightly better than a covered wagon as well!
Rory, you made that Bronco look even smaller than it is.😂
Love the 3 on the tree little bronco are so capable
Great scenery where you picked up the Jeep, awesome pillars. I always wanted one of those Bronco's when they first came out, very old school compared to todays off-road vehicles.

Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Ahhh, the old classic 3 on the tree. I learned to drive in a old ford truck with that.
the best view was seeing those beautiful wild Horses. they looked unhappy that you were taking their friend the Bronco back.

Love that Bronco. I had a 1966 half cab Bronco.
Chris should be on more, if she wants to. Always cool to see the family out and about.
Really good video of the ol' U14 Bronco. They were goats to their degree of fitness, even stock, in their time. Just goes to show how Bigga 'Ol Boy you are Rory!!!!
Great stuff guys. The old Bronco really shows how far 'wheeling' has come.
“I love this thing” hahahaha so awesome
I got out of the Marine Corps in 1978. Within 6 months I bought my first Bronco, 1971 170Cube 6 with a 3 on the tree. Probably the toughest stock truck I ever owned. I've had a lot of 4x4's over the years, but it's still was my favorite
G'day everyone, have a great day.
