Hi Claire! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! It's always nice to see your name pop up in my comments. Thanks so much for always watching and taking the time to send me messages 😊💖
🇨🇦👋 Good morning Donna. What a different and interesting creation. 🤔 Just purchased some blank rice and some ornamental rice paper … think this will be the recipe to create a family memorial candle. Thanks for sharing and inspiring! See you next week.
Good morning Ginette, wasn't this a fun project? I've been seeing a lot of candle decoupaging and thought it was time to do a video on my version. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Grab your rice paper and a candle, and go make a huge mess! See you next week my friend 😘Thanks so much for always watching and taking the time to send me messages 😊💖
Hi Claire, Thank you so much. I'm thrilled that you're enjoying my videos. I release a new video every Sunday morning. So you won't have to wait long. I'm working on one right now! Thanks again for watching. 💖😊
Hi Kathy! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! It's so easy, you should give it a try. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Good morning from “aftershock” Connecticut. I have experience in this craft but I love your choice of paper. Thanks for explaining the methods you use in plain and simple language and offering the info on the products to use so the inexperienced can accomplish it as well. Instructions are so important audibly to learn. Some crafters don’t do that. It’s a silent video with no instructions. Sometimes you’ll see words that don’t last long. I don’t have time to backtrack. Your videos are spot on, thorough and informative. Question, I bought those water pens and want to know if you squeeze it first to get the water out because when I just lay the brush to paper, nothing comes out. Thank you!
Hi there my sweet friend! I agree with you, I think it's so important to hear the instructions and have all products explained. It's nice to just sit and watch sometimes, but if you're trying to learn something, that doesn't work. On the water pens, yes you'll need to squeeze it to get it flowing. There are differences in water pens. The one I bought from Hobby Lobby doesn't work as well as the one I got from Decoupagenapkins.com. The water flows really easily on theirs. The brush is bigger and holds more water. Wouldn't you think they'd all be the same? Thanks for always watching and sending me messages 😘🤗
Hi there, I used rice paper so there were no layers to separate. But it you use a napkin, you would definitely need to separate your layers and only use the top printed layer. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Hi there! Yes it sure will. I actually did a burn test with a napkin, just to make sure it would be ok to burn. It was a small candle and I burned it all the way to the bottom with no problem. The sides caved in a little bit, but that's all. Thanks again for watching 😊💖
Hi Suzanne, Here you go, I'm leaving you the link to that rice paper. It's beautiful, isn't it? Thanks for watching 😊💖 Rice Paper Frames: decoupagenapkins.com/collections/decoupage-paper-textures/products/vintage-ornate-frames-r0852-l?sca_ref=3969749.C8aAXEduCt
Hi there. I got this one at Walmart. It's unscented, but they came 3 in a package for 14.00 Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Hi Marianela, Yes you can use this candle. At the end of the video I showed the results of a burn test on a sample candle. You must have missed the end of the video. I would go back and watch the very end so you can see exactly how they burn. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Hi there! If you didn't use the heat, it wouldn't look like it was part of the candle. It would just look glued on. Once you melt the candle wax with the heat, the wax penetrates the image and it appears to be part of the candle. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Bonjour à vous madame je vous regarde du Québec et je vous félicite car j'aime beaucoup cette vidéo c'était très jolie 🦋😘👍👍👍🌈

@@masoncreationsetc you are so very welcome Donna! I love your creativity and content! Thanks for all you do 😀
Awww you are so sweet! You are so very welcome and I'm thrilled to have made a new friend. Happy crafting my friend 😊
If we use a napkin - I'm assuming the wax will keep it safe when burning the candle -- like the rice paper? Is that correct?
Hi there! Yes it sure will. I actually did a burn test with a napkin, just to make sure it would be ok to burn. It was a small candle and I burned it all the way to the bottom with no problem. The sides caved in a little bit, but that's all. Thanks again for watching 😊💖

Can you still use this as a candle? Greetings from 🇬🇧
