How did Cuddy lie? If the condition was a dominant trait then one of the parents would have to have it to give it to their daughter. If it's recessive she couldn't have it unless both her parents are carriers.
Gotta love the complete and total lack of character development for the parents, especially the mother, she didn't even get a proper dose of House after she pulled the "I outrank you!!!"
I love that house stops after whacking the guy like, “oh. Wait…that was too far wasn’t it….” And then actually listens and realizes he’s wrong for once.
“the guy”, Chase, is essentially House but without leg pain or a Vicodin addiction. If House is going to listen to anyone, it’s probably going to be Chase
@@ChrisCosat To be fair, in this case it really was just House being in a horrifically bad mood because he wasn't being allowed to take vicodin, which is the thing that makes his chronic pain actually manageable. Usually House does at least give some acknowledgement, if minor, in these sorts of situations.
The irony. This was the moment the writers incorporated ‘It’s never Lupus’ because the community was already making jokes about how it’s never Lupus before this episode.
When your so petty you choose bad medical options just to be petty and care more to 1 up your ex than save your daughters life she should be taken by cps@@danielgrantham3756
@danielgrantham3756 being stupid should absolutely be a reason to have your kids taken away. It should be a good reason to not make you have kids at all. Firstly because you'll probably pass down your IQ and stupid knowdlege to the kid, Secondly because since you're stupid, you'll probably treat the kid horribly. Both seem very good reasons to me.
Don't mean to be THAT GUY, but one of the primary reasons of death IS medical malpractice. House even mentions it in an episode. Is the mother acting entitled? Yes, but her argument has merit. As one of the legal guardians of the patient, she has the final say.
One of my favorite episodes ever, since House was detoxing, he was extremely agitated. The way he acted without filter without any restraint and says whatever he wants to without thinking. It’s like cuddly said, he holds himself back because when he wants to, he knows JUST where to hit. I absolutely LOOOOVE that about House
So technically she has a condition that makes her being a possible target of execution at the stake, if she we born in the European mideval era as a vampire. Except she doesn't particularly has hunger for blood.

Yea um mom Dr house is number one is because he's a doctor's going to save your child you do never ever outrank a doctor oh my goodness I haven't slept right across her face for saying that
To be fair, Cuddy wasn't helping. She got too emotionally invested in it, which is something doctors aren't supposed to do. House was suggesting broad spectrum antibiotics to see if it was an infection, but Cuddy refused. She shut down all his suggestions until he felt amputation was the only option left.
Is this not a clear example of pain NOT being House's reason for being great? because here he detoxes, multiplying the pain, and he gets marginally worse with doctoring as a whole.
So rage inducing having to hear parents fight like this, should have had CPS take the kid away and let them live their lives miserably cause their characters both deserve it
Don't know if that would happen especially these days. A mother literally slapped her daughter off her feet in a crowded store, drags the crying child up saying "Wait until we get home" & storms out with her & nobody steps in to stop her.
"I am a complete stranger who apparently cares more about whether your kid dies than you do." Says a guy who hates people but hates moron parents even more
@@tpolutts3309 The dad was NOT just as bad, not by a long shot. The mom literally chose the opposite of whatever he agreed to just to contradict him. (Also, just as a bonus, the dad did not have a voice that made you want to stick something sharp in each ear.)
This is why I stopped watching House. I could sort of put up with the incredibly unrealistic scenarios of one diagnostic team running all the tests and scans plus performing surgical procedures plus somehow being present every time a patient coded. But the routine harassment, workplace bullying, gaslighting, malpractice, ethical breaches and plain ordinary terrible behaviour of the protagonist, all of which should have attracted massive lawsuits and/or criminal charges but were all tolerated or swept aside, just outweighed the original fun of watching him being a medical Sherlock Holmes. The original Holmes could be difficult; House is impossible. It's a wonder only one person shot him.
Oddly enough I do think there are phones around just in case they need to make a call for something, now is it exactly like this? Not sure but I do actually think they can call the OR or even the surgeon if need be but usually it's a nurse who answers
She keeps thinking she is better than house, so she keeps making the same mistake. that kid would still be alive if she just stayed in her place in the kitchen
In the end, the mother still tries to blame the husband until Cuddy lies saying both parents have to be carriers.
That goes to show who the biggest problem in that relationship was.
Those parents were infuriating. They care more about hating each other than their child's health. In the end, she will hate both of them.
Well, no wonder they are divorced.
Wait Cuddy lied??? Interesting
