This is honestly one of the best live performance I’ve seen on UA-cam. They’re so tight with their playing and delivery, and the vocals are KILLER. Whoever did the house-sound also murdered their job requirements. You can tell that night sounded AMAZING, especially when an iPhone/video-cam recording sounds like the majority of venues’ on-board mix. Just simply an amazing moment of metal history, and musicianship. Lucas Mann & ROS will forever be one the best examples of extreme technical playing being viable for mainstream music (and making certain musicians jealous 😉).
I like how the drummer looks bored through the entire thing but is actually drumming harder than 99% drummers worldwide

I saw them in Oct. in Portland. Mike was eating a poptart 30 seconds before the show. that's his secret.
Soft rock drummers be looking like they are dying of exhaustion playing basic rudiments and Mike is here playing 200+ BPM blast beats like it's a little tikes drum set and looks like he's barely in the zone

I think Mike Caputo has to be the best drummer in ROS since the departure of Aaron Stechauner in 2018 and also Ian Baker back in 2013/14. His stamina and accuracy is absolutely phenomenal.

I saw them in Melbourne on this tour - without doubt one of my life highlights - I was side stage and was able to watch Mike Caputo absolutely shred it up and was lucky enough to have a short chat with him after the show. Thanks for posting your video up - much appreciated.

I think they got Marco for the album because most of his recordings are one take. He's been on I think 18 different albums this year for session work.
