As an avid audiobook listener, with over 900 audiobooks in my audible library, I can say without reservation that your narration is superb, both in technical sound and voice. I’m impressed!!
Lol@ that ending. Love these Jeeves stories, and your narration of the character is absolutely wonderful , Nick! In fact, always enjoy your entire narration of the exploits of this pair. Thank you!
Oh Nick you make me so happy! Hip..hip..hooray another splendid Wodehouse play! I've been stalking your ch the past few weeks in anticipation. Thank you & very well done as always! Love the pic too.
Really loving these, brilliant listening while busy with chores. It just shows how versatile Wodehouse’s writing is - Fry and Laurie of course on video, so young, and earlier Richard Briars and Michael Hordern. Your fruity voiced Jeeves works every bit as well, thankyou!
Dear heart , gracious thanks ! My intentions are to keep some form of inclusion with those who have still got positive notions . Your voice has become incredibly more engaging with every upload . Have you ever been an actor ? I'm most intrigued . If you weren't so distant , I would just love to stay in your glammy cabins ! 🙏🏼💝
Ha! How nice of you to say Christine, but an actor no, not nearly brave enough. Or clever enough to learn those lines. Started off in the farming direction and then got more absorbed in engineering. Sadly the horsebox is likely to be un-used for this year now although it does make a nice little studio to record in for the moment.
Very enjoyable voice work, but I must agree with other comments here about the volume. I'm playing this on a computer with its audio connected into a stereo system, and I have to increase the sound up to 10 (when I usually keep it at 6 for UA-cam and everything else). Anyway, thanks so much for your videos; clearly you're quite talented! Best regards from across the pond.
As usual, quite a few mispronunciations. One about “lifting the speckle out of your pockets” instead of “lifting the specie” (soft ‘c’ as in species) meaning money. Very slapdash. Nice voice differentiations but not much quality control.
@@Trickynickymarts jeeves o"pete ! Is there no pleasing some people? I can live with a few obscure mispronunciations, just keep on with your talented and entertaining readings. Your presentation is so professional, you should be getting paid for your great service. I bet you could read Vanity Fair really well too. Really anything by Trollope.
Boulong??? Even the English pronounce this correctly, ie bweeyon(g). The other day I distinctly heard you say trouseau, akin to trousers, for trousseau, a common English word for the wedding chest every young lady tries to fill. Please, Nick, check the frenchified pronunciations in a good dictionary. Or ask any French person, or any literate English person over the age of 50 ;)
Oh dear, slipped again - what a fox pot or however the French say it. Although I fall into the bracket you suggest regarding nationality and age am clearly not literate enough. Must try harder! Cheers.
Nick mispronounces words all too often in these stories. Everytime it happens, I wince. Things like “lifting the specky out of your pocket” when the word is specie with a soft c.
I got so accustomed to this masterful style of narration that i am unable to listen to any other reading style.

Thank you Angela. Do tune in again!
Trickynicky Marts ... I will, for sure! I love P.G. Wodehouse and you narrate his work, so well!
@@TrickynickymartsI agree with Angela, your work is excellent!
This is the first time I have listened to an offering of P G Wodehouse from Nick Martin and his delivery is bang on, what.
simply superb, what a fabulous story teller you are.
Fantastic narration. Thank you
Another absolute banger, Nicky old boy! Perfectly voiced! 10/10

Thank you T, yes its been a bit longer this time - just been busy. I was pleased with finding that picture - glad you appreciate it. Cheers
Excellent thanks nick 😮😮😮😊🤓
Splendid narration! Probably the very best of all the ones by you that I have listened to.
Thank you. Yes, they do vary a bit - the sign of a true amateur!

What a voice ❤
Listened to this one before and it's still fantastic, "Don't you know Jeeves"
, “hard to laugh, with egg on your face!” Not in this case. Bravo and thank you so much for these prize stories.🎭🇺🇸
Thanks - plenty more.
Your reading is superb and the stories hilarious. I aspire to be like Jeeves!
Ah, that wise and wonderful chap - looks like you may struggle with the last bit! Thanks.
Brilliant reader who brings the characters to life. Thank you.
🌲🌝☘️
Thanks Eliz - and what characters they are!
A bit late to the party but 🎉I’m here now 😂
Superlative narration - as always! Please could you do some more Roald Dahl? 😊
That is a good idea. My computer broke but I have now replaced it so more stories will be on the way shortly. Cheers N
Yay! Can’t wait. Thank you and sorry your computer broke.
Best voice Bravo! You’re the cats pajamas!
How I have longed for a “man” like Jeeves. Waking up to “your coffee, sir.”
Thank you for posting this
Bravo! 👏👏👏
Nothing like Wodehouse's clean wholesome humour! Could you increase the volume though? It is low on phones
Quite agree! Ah yes volume - I think it is just this one that was on the low side. Sorry about that. Try another and let me know how you get on.
Jeeves, do you know everything?
I cannot say, sir.
Brilliant.
Millones de gracias!!
My favourite narrator by far.
I think it's about time we had a Boost For Budleigh Salterton !
Excellent reading ! Chuckling as I listened.
Yes, Bud Salt now fully on the map!
Thank you.
Loved you reading! And, the comments are a hoot, what?👋
I listen to your work many many times and each time it is wonderfully presented☺️
Thank you!

Glad you enjoy them. Can you tell me if you had a problem with the volume?
@@Trickynickymarts no problems here

Ah, such restraint!
Sound level check please, me no can hear something-me speak a good and talk da goodest.
Volume was too low
Oh, sorry to hear this. Maybe try it on another device?
