Outstanding, Mr. Martin! My favorite line from Jeeves, "For in an employer, brains are not desirable", that really had me chuckling. Thank you so much for reading these stories, they are such a treat and made even more so by your narration.
OMG this is my favorite one! Well well read. I think what I love so much about Jeeves is that he is just as fun-loving as Bertie, yet he manages to seem so very serious and dignified. You know he's cracking up inside!
Bravo, as always you have rendered another entertaining tale of Bertie and Jeeves in your own inimitable style. I’m sure I speak for many in expressing our gratitude to you for sharing your craft and bringing us all some happiness. Thank you once again and I always look forward to your next selection. Stay safe and stay healthy, hoping you are getting at least a portion of the enjoyment that you are bringing to us
Agree. I add my thanks. Jeeves and Wooster work so well when read out or acted well, and you do a fine job. A tribute to Wodehouse's writing ability that his work does so well in the right hands, or mouth!
Very entertaining, but oh! how manipulative Jeeves can be! We spot it, of course, when we hear the stories told from Bertie's point of view, but this story really underlines it.
Absolutely delightful story! Nicky, you read it so well and I don't know how you can put on all these different voices. The moral of the story for me is that I should always have a short, entertaining speech ready in case of emergency.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Thank You , I Love this story , reminds me , in part , of going to an all-girls school ! Those were the days , I laughed so much during this particular part , almost had an 'accident' Great fun with Jeeves to the rescue , yet again . 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 Marvellous
This is going to my favorite. It's fresh to hear stories told by Jeeves. And Bertie is more like a slightly more mature man rather than a 🐓 chicken- headed- knuckle- head with droppsie. 🐒 m
Lovely. Thanks. Did you time this one with the virus: Jeeves, "I think you are quite not yourself after your influenza"? I do know this story and have wondered about Bertie's sister. Don't recall her popping up in any other Bertie tale and wonder what happened to her husband. It was published in 1922, was he perhaps a Great War casualty?
Excellent, Mr. Martin! Thank you ever so much for narrating these stories and giving us all MANY laughs!

Haha! Yes, another good line. Thank you.

Such enjoyable narration!!❤❤❤
This reading is like watching a play! It is fabulous! What a great job!!!🎉
A revelation don’t you know! Have never encountered this one before. No end to Plum’s inventiveness 😂

So well done reader and writer, thank you!
Splendid reading for an other funny wonderful PGWodehouse story! Thanks to Nick Martin, please read them all !

Thank you Nigel. Yes, and don't let them stare you out!
Great delivery, Nick. A pleasant surprise and a perfect way to end my day. Thanks very much.
Thanks Dermot
Classic Jeeves. Hillarious.🎉🎉🎉❤

Ha! Careful Christine!
Did you sneak cigarettes in the bushes? 😂
Thank you Nick Martin!!!!!! 💕
The first Jeeves and Wooster story I've heard narrated by Jeeves rather than Bertie.
Yes, maybe the only one?
@@Trickynickymarts I think perhaps there are a few more, but I'm not sure about that.
I think it's the only one! It's hilarious to hear everything the way he describes it!
I'm taking notes... That was so devious! 😂😂
Another excellent tale.
"It was painful to see Mr. Wooster's brain endeavoring to work." 😉
Yes, he can be quite blunt!
😄😄😉😄 "Mentally negligible!"

Thank you ever so much for sharing these with us all. I will be perusing the selection of woolens
I enjoyed a lot! Thanks!
Thank you Hidemi
The description of the girls song is hilarious
Sooo good as always! Thanks for being here for us! Blessings all!
Thank you. So far still here! Cheers
Οh, Jeeves!! Your boss wears purple socks but my youngest son and his friends wear multicoloured socks. They say it's all the rage!!! Thank you, Nick!
There's no stopping this coloured socks business now! Cheers.
Great job as always!!!
Cheers!
An interesting way to learn life's lessons.
Yes, lessons come from any angle!
Great vudeo
well done nicely read .
Cheers Tone
Thank you!
v nice and thanking you in time for christmas 2020
Very welcome
Hilarious, thank you 👏🏻
Wodehouse had no unrealistic sentimental view of the female sex!
Absolutely damn Spiffing......
Until this I only had a vague awareness of the sadistic side of Jeeves' nature. It's an exquisite torture listening to Bertie up there on the stage
I know, what a rotter. He must have felt so strongly though that he wanted their life to carry on just the same forever - and was prepared to torture!
And Jeeves makes sure he can hear and get a good laugh out of it!
Thank you 😊
Lovely. Thanks.

Cheers. Timing was coincidental! You're right his sister seems a bit part time!
Oh, what a relief...somehow got an AI reader on the last. So stressful.
Can you please post the short story nothing serious collections of ten short stories by P. G Wodehouse. I want this for my project
it is wonderful for learning english only
Great
I've always wondered how to pronounce "sine qua non" :)
Actually now you mention it, I should have probably checked!
I don't think this is right. Churlish to complain of course
Now I'm embarrassed! I should have checked of course beforehand.
Nick martin is good but I prefer Jonathan Cecil as the narrator
That's fine with me - hope you enjoyed it anyway! Thanks
@@TrickynickymartsI definitely prefer you, Nick! 🙏

I don't know if you've noticed, but NONE OF THESE STORIES ARE BY AGATHA CHRISTIE.
CLICKBAIT. Shame on you.
Right comment, wrong channel?
Too aggressive 🤷
