YALL I MADE A MISTAKE!!!! 25:30 the spinning pochita pin is made by brownrabbitsart, not shattered earth! My bad!!! I always pride myself in usually having pretty good memory with these sorts of things, but I got that one wrong. 🙃 Anyways carry on!! All artists mentioned are linked in the description (in order of appearance)
Those tapes are crazy cool. Me too I just got started about a few weeks ago after visiting Tokyo for a weekend. All I could afford Florida is expensive
You know how women can be "girl's girls", I feel like Emily is an "Artist's Artist". In all of her room tours but specifically in this one she's always gushing about how amazing the art is, how good the colors look irl, and she even takes the time to link all of the artists so that we can check them out! We stan a non-gatekeeping queen! 👑
To hang up posters, Daiso or Seria has poster tape that's specifically made so that you can peel off later on. If you're scared of them damaging the walls or the poster itself, use masking tape first, then the poster sticker on top. The stickers are sold with the name: 壁紙用ポスターテープ ALSO!!! I think Daiso also has file folders for storing big posters! If I'm wrong, I've seen them in big art stores (maybe Sekaido? or Loft too)
Doubled sided tape is perfect for keeping up posters! The only downside is their impossible to take off the walls after you put on the double sided tape💝
I rec washi tape esp for smaller art prints--hasn't failed me so far!!! I fold a strip into a bubble to make it double-sided, and put enough to keep the art up on the wall. It's also been ok with my walls so far (no paint coming off when removing prints unlike other tapes, also doesn't rip the poster if I want to remove the tape)! also +1 to the painters tape and sticky note trick
Emi talk to Conner. He has stuff hanging in his office so he might be able to help. You might also need to buy a LOT of frames. He likes posters being framed. I have no doubt he will mention frames.
To keep prints on your wall, use command strips instead of poster putty. I used to use poster putty but like you said, they aren't really secure when it comes to keeping prints on your wall and they can potentially damage the paint job on your wall as well. Ever since I made the switch to using command strips, I never have to be afraid for any of my prints to randomly fall or reattach a print to a different spot in my room praying that the paint job will stay intact as I detach and move it. 100% recommended!
For the pin board what I’d do is place them inclined, not hanging, on a sturdy table or shelf against the wall. Some people do it already for portraits, and since the board is too heavy the wall won’t suffer damage and will be visible to appreciate
during the summer i always keep a dehumidifier in my room to keep posters from getting wrinkled, water damaged from humidity, and keep the tape or whatever from losing its effect.. i also live in japan and so far this has worked
Super hack!! I stick plastic tape in the back of my prints in each corner before I hang them on the wall with poster puddy. This way they don't slide down the wall AND it keeps the poster puddy from bleeding through the print. This changed my life forever!! 🔥🤩🔥
I’m gonna take notes for my own new room. I LOVE the prints in the walls. I have a full drawer full of prints and posters I buy on cons but cannot put up. ❤❤❤
I usually use blue painters tape to hold up any posters or prints. I fold them in a way where it’s double sided and stick them on the back so they aren’t visible. Painters tape protects the paint on the wall and it doesn’t damage posters/prints in the slightest.
Emily can you make a video on how you collect so many things?? Like stationary, pins, prints, etc., where you get them, and the general prices? I know you did a guide to anime cafe’s; I’d really like one on these pls! (Like brands you buy from, stores, etc)
For the poster putty problem, I’d recommend glue dots or adhesive dots. They’re kinda gel like so don’t really get affected by the heat and are easily removable. 👌
i personally get my prints laminated and use poster command strips to hang them up. the lamination has potential to damage the print depending on the machine or ink (it's happened to 2 out of like 70 prints) and it does cost extra BUT i think it's super worth since i wont have to worry about water damage or ripping them when i rearrange them
omg I have the same/similar journal as you! I don't do a ton of traveling, but the "traveler's journal" formats with inserts is my favorite way to journal. I like it so much more than normal notebooks!
I just had an idea for what to do with the pin board, if you have enough space in the room you could maybe put it in a painters easel since it’ll be supported by the floor, and they’re cute
I've been following OceaninSpace ever since you showed her art for the first time! I love seeing your collection row and see what we have in common. I wonder if we'll ever see a EmirichuxOceanInSpace collaboration :3c
Me and my bf use Velcro stickies! One side is Velcro and the other side is sticky, they’re very easy to take off and it keeps your posters from being ripped when using tape or putty :3
I was borrowing them from my library and I got to the end of what was currently published and it was a BIG cliffhanger. I thought I was gonna die of anticipation.
Putting your posters in frames and hanging them on your wall could look nice! Not only will the frames add an extra touch of style and sophistication to your decor, but they will also provide additional support and protection for your posters, preventing them from falling off the wall due to wear and tear or accidental bumps. Plus, framing your posters will elevate their appearance and help them stand out as a focal point in your room.
The way I immediately recognized the 'ocean in space' stuff when you show the posters, and now I'll continue watching the video. (Yes i stopt at 1:46 to writethis)
Food for thought. You can grab a cute basket to stash stuff you're not ready to put away or tidy up when you're too busy. It keeps clutter out of sight and adds a touch of charm to your space! (I do that) Also I just say that because you mentioned the clutter in your desk. I on the other hand need it to keep my whole room looking cleaner…
I've been going watching your room tours for years and love how decorated they have become. I did want to offer something from my experiences with researching pin displays. I have actually looked at people using Embrodiary Hoops with fabric or fabric canvases with felt attached for more aesthetic displays, which look super cute and can be as big or as small as desired
omg I was just rewatching a lot of your old videos and was hoping for a room tour!! yay! love your space, reminds me of my own, I love being surrounded by things~
For posters I recommend getting the Command damage free hanging poster strips, it’s safe for walls and supposedly safe for posters, BUT because i’m paranoid about ripping, I put sticky notes on the poster and then the strips just in case☺️
Emily, Emily!!!! One thing i thought of for your pins is finding out how much it weighs and finding out how tough you wall is then ask google or someone who might know "if something that weighs about _______, will it fall on a _______ wall?" That's justan idea i thought of.
ultimate poster hack! Tape some metal paper clips to the wall (just blue painter's tape will do, and doesn't damage walls) and then attach the poster by putting a tiny magnet on the top! they make super tiny ones, so it's not gonna cover up the art much, and it holds up on bumpy walls and through humidity :)
use clear tape/scotch tape on the poster and the wall where you want to put the poster, and then put the double sided tape on the clear/scotch tape, its sticks great and is easy to remove !
I bought them directly from the artists and the exact same art can be found and viewed on their websites so they're definitely not ai 😅 i would never buy from someone who i suspected used AI
If you wanna combat having your posters in a bag/melting off of the wall, I recommended making an art binder! Just use an empty binder and fill it with a lot of clear plastic holders to put the prints in so that way it’s like your own personal art book!
you listing everything is so insane T_T i love finding new shops to buy from and you have just supplied me for a very long time.. you are truly the goat
I wish i had a room and the money to collect stuff like yoy!! This is so cool seeing all the various creativity just bundled in a single room.. one day!
01:20 i personally use panters tape! you make a little loop out of it buy sticking it to it's self with the sticky side facing out and then put that on the corners of your print and stick it on! i've almost never had a print fall and best of all unlike bluetack it doesn't damage the prints when you remove it
This might be a lot of work but something cool you could do with the pins are to get a glass top table that has a layer under, so you can display the pins under the glass and work on top of them!
when it comes to your prints or posters, that blue painters tape is really good for holding them up without maybe them slide off like the poster putty your using! Big fan of your vids and art btw!! >w
As a teacher, even when the walls heat up, I put painters tape on the back of my posters and on the wall and then use hot glue to hang things. Almost never comes down. Even in the heat! Try it!
For any prints I'm not framing, I use adhesive photo corners! Theyre the little sticky corners you can use for scrapbooks. I've had some on my wall for a long time now without any issues or damage, and you can get a bunch for cheap.

A suggestion for the posters. You can put masking/painters tape on the wall and the use magnets. One secured to the tape and the other one securing the posters
Instead of poster board sticky tack use painters tape, it makes ur posters stick to the walls well and doesn’t damage the wall/poster! It’s gentle and can hold up posters well
Washi tape is great for holding up prints!!! They’re cute, hold up posters well, and they don’t damage the prints. You tape it from the front on the corners so they hold up
For sticking posters/prints on your walls you can use paint and air dry clay by mixing them together, it should make it sticky enough to put things on your wall
I use Faber-Castell's Tack-It. It holds up well in hot weather and over many years too without needing adjustment. But I suggest putting tape over the area of your poster to protect it before using Tack-It. Not because it won't come off but because it'll leave a color mark if you leave it be for more than a year.
3M poster strips are really nice! They pull downwards so they won't leave residue on wall afterwards. If they're properly put on, the only thing bringing them down is going to be maybe earthquakes
Hey girly, i use to watch you all the time in middle school. I just found your acct again, I'm so happy you are still active !! I'm now about to graduate and I'm really exited, you helped me a lot early in my life when i was messed up. Thank you
you can stick poster sleeves onto the wall with stronger adhesive option, that way you only need to slide your poster into the sleeve and its easy so swap them out.
I love what you did for your arrangements throughout your room Emily, Like I said that was an outstanding tour room you did I hope you stay safe in living japan Emily よくやった well done! 👍♥️
For the pin board if you really want to jang it up you can get some drywall screw plugs. Some of them are just plastic but you can get metal ones that hold up some really heavy things. You need a drill for them though to drill a hole in the wall

I was gonna suggest somrthing like cammand tape. But that would probably work better.
Was going to suggest tesa posterstrips, if availlable over there, and they showed up on amazon when I used your search term. Well done!
You don't know this but you just saved me from strangling myself with Scotch tape.💯
Doubled sided tape is perfect for keeping up posters! The only downside is their impossible to take off the walls after you put on the double sided tape💝
Goo gone will do this trick but it might mess up the poster if you’re not careful!
Id also suggest putting the sticky part of a post it note on the back to protect the print
try making a wee loops of blue painters tape and sticking it on that way, it never falls, doesn't damage the prints and doesn't damage the walls
