Another great tutorial. Love the adjustable straps. Now to pick fabrics and watch the tutorial again. Since I have a grandson, Daniel, who is 2 and loves to bake cakes for family members birthdays/ anniversaries I think he needs an apron. 🎉thank you sew sew much Jenny and Missouri Star team.
Not only are you one of the best tutorial instructors with creative projects, you remind me of my best friend, RIP. I visit you now and again for all these reasons. You are an absolute delight-I love your humor. God Bless You. ❤️
Just what I needed a super simplified version for my Christmas market this year. I've had a few enquiries from customers. Aprons are coming back in style 😎 🇦🇺💜🇺🇲🖐🥰
Love! How u mentioned the cutting in half part for younger children. Its exactly what I was looking for! Thank you and God bless! I'm a 3 strap girl myself. Lol
Back in the day, I was taught that when you are sewing strips together, like the apron straps and quilt binding, to always make a diagonal seam instead of straight seams. Glad to see that you use straight seams for projects like this. Makes it quicker!
Thank you for this tutorial. I have made bunches and bunches of these aprons. I’m going to make another cause my nine year old niece is an incredible cook and wants an apron.
I make bibs for a local nonprofit that provides affordable daycare in our area. Someone donated hand towels. I made the these into aprons for the older children. They liked them so much they wanted more. Thank you so much for this idea!
Oh I’m so glad I found you I have been wanting to make aprons but had no idea how to lay the pattern out thanks you made it look so easy thanks NEW subscriber
Jenny jenny jenny thank you so much for your awesome tea towel tutorial I couldn’t remember how to make it because I hadn’t seen it an awful long time but you’re the best teacher out there showing how easy and quick you can make an apron kudos to you❣️✂️🪡🧵💓💕❤️💖💗
Love the tutorials and the way you seem to "pull" family time into most of what you do. You can tell you are very family oriented. Most of your small gift items can be made by/with children ... this has blessed many a heart of family members around the world, I am sure. Also, for those who have a hearing problem, the closed caption is greatly appreciated! God bless and keep you and yours.
I loved this. Jenny is a terrific teacher. She makes learning fun and exciting. Mahalo!!! I have a daughter that goes to school in Missouri so I will definitely have to make a trip to visit your store one of these fine days.
Jenny, you are brilliant and your videos never get old! I love what you say about the straps! Too funny! Another GREAT MSQC video! I made some of these at Christmas before finding this tutorial and made the straps from ribbon, but I like your straps better and will do these in the future.
fyi for anyone… measurements for the child’s size are on the free pattern link (under “more” above). So nice to have it all so easily accessible! (even after 14 years!!) Thanks M.S.!
You guys are awesome . Thanks for all the wonderful tips and ideas . Just found you guys last week and i am just so please, you are getting my creative juices flowing again .
I wish I could visit your wonderful store..I am sure I could find lots of goodies, templates and beautiful fabric, great ideas..I would need a very large suitcase..to fill and bring home to Australia..as there is only one small little quilt store in my town..The U.S.A. is very far away for a shopping trip..Love your video demos. Thanks so much...frenchpossum west australia....
I made one this morning & it turned out really cute. I used a plain towel with pockets & straps of pink flamingo's then I machine embroidered a pink flamingo at the top. So cute. Thank you for this pattern. The designs are endless.

Loved it! Especially the two smaller ones! I just finished making aprons for my granddaughters but they were a bit complicated for fitting cuz they were the cross back apron style aka Japanese style. I’m wishing I’d seen this first!

Awesome tutorial Jenny!! You are the BEST by far on tutorials and teaching me at least your way of sewing and quilting! Thank you so very much to you and your team at MSQC for all your hard work!! God Bless you
This is lovely - thank you for sharing. The only extra thing I am going to do is sew some of the scrap from the tea towel onto the ends of the straps, to stop them from being pulled through.
Thank you for this video! This was the only one I liked and you made it look so easy. I made my first ever apron, I did not have a towel but I used some fabric and used a rope for the strap and I am in love with it! The pocket I made into one pocket with a smaller pocket to hold pens and now I can't wait to show the ladies at work! YAY =D God Bless!
I’m three strap girl, 75 year old grandma...I earned every inch. I wear it with pride and share it’s warmth with every hug!
