I so appreciate how you, get right to the project. Some tutorials spend a lot of time talking. You keep moving, spend seconds on your opening, rather than several long minutes. Thank you, your video's have been a blessing to me.
I agree about the talking. I end up fast forwarding or not watching. It’s always clearer when it’s one person doing the tutorial. Two becomes Chatty Cathies. 👍👍👍 love Jeannie.
I love watching these vintage Jenny's. I wasn't a sewer back then. I started watching her around 2014 and got hooked. So nice to have these still available.
Thanks for showing me how to sew this apron. I’m a visual person, so even though I read the pattern on your website, I couldn’t make heads or tails of it. Your demonstration shows how doable this great project is for a gift. I really appreciate all your sewing tutorials...
Omg! I just happened across this video and I love it! You are so natural with those sewing instruments, you're using them without thought, yet precisely. Amazing.
I just wove a tea towel! Maybe I should use it! However, it doesn't have a tag! Wow, what a cool knife! Things have changed a lot since I sewed my wardrobe!
I just taught myself how to sew over the last two days and I think this will be my first project! I have some antique tea towels and I'm slowly changing my entire wardrobe/aesthetic to vintage 1950's so this will be perfect for my housewife dress! 👗👒👛👠💄
Jenny I love all your specific details when you are showing your videos. I have watched many others and I still come back to you as my favourite ❤️ because there is not guessing what the teacher meant😉😉
Grand Slam! The towels are wonderful! Great quality and the perfect size for the apron! The tutorial is perfect .. the only thing I changed was the width of the casing .. I made them 1/4 in wider. Thanks so much for your extremely helpful and fun tutorials!
Ms. Jenny, thank you very much for a wonderful tutorials. I learned a lot from you. I also learned how to make beautiful pillow cases from you. Keep it up.
I love the simplicity of your tutorial; not wordy but short and to the point. If I want to make a tea towel apron for a child, do I use the same measurements? (8" across the top and 10" down the side)
This project is my first real make-it-in hours success. I have no sewing skills (very little connection between brain and hands) but I seem to be determined to learn how to sew and quilt. No idea why. I didn't use a tea towel but hemmed a 20 x 30 piece of fabric. With Jenny's help, I actually succeeded. I will send you a photo if you tell me how.
Thank you so much.you explain and demonstrate so simple way, and measurements too, making very simple for just beginer like me to follow. I follow your tutorials only. Very helpful. Thanks Mam💐💐💐
I thought this was a great idea and went out to get some tea towels. Then I saw some great beach towels with lovely colors and patterns. I bought one for $5 and made two aprons with it. The extra width of the beach towel makes the apron go well around my hips. Thanks for this great idea
With my ruler and my cutter, I have problem. Using them both, I "succeeded " to make a "crack" on the side of the ruler !!! Do you hold your ruler at a perfect 90 degrees or a little less from the fabric? Help please!
What a fun project. Where do you get your tea towels. What are the measurements for the one you made in this video? Also best material for an apron. I intend to make these as gifts for my girlfriend neighbors.
Wow, you get right to the point! Thank you, so sick of people yammering to hear themselves speak. You are very clear and precise. Easy to understand, you get your FINGERS out of the way so we can see what it is you are doing
This is a beautiful video...Please tell me the name of that cutting tool you use. I have GOT to get one o those. I'm getting into art and crafts and need to stock up on my tools, and that is definitely one for the batch.
I like Jenny because she is left handed. I am constantly looking for left handed rotary cutting tutorials. I never know if I'm cutting correctly. They are hard to find. However, she used both hands here.
I have made several of these for gifts and now I'm even getting orders for Mommy and Me matching aprons! My twist on it is to make a patchwork pocket and sometimes add some hand embroidery at the bottom. Thanks Jenny!
Thanks! Thanks! And thanks again! I was looking for a tutorial for this type of adjustable apron and here it is! And so easy to make! Have a great day! 😎🌸
Great! I made several. You could add a link to the second part of the tutorial in the info box. A friend of mine had difficulty finding part 2. Thank you.
?? you say 4x10 fort the strap area but I notice that you were making 6x4. Is the 6x4 for the 3 strap person verses the 4x10 for the 2 strap person type?
I so appreciate how you, get right to the project. Some tutorials spend a lot of time talking. You keep moving, spend seconds on your opening, rather than several long minutes. Thank you, your video's have been a blessing to me.
You are so welcome, Debbie! Thank you so much for all of the love and support!! :)
I agree about the talking. I end up fast forwarding or not watching. It’s always clearer when it’s one person doing the tutorial. Two becomes Chatty Cathies. 👍👍👍 love Jeannie.

Do these hold up in the wash? Some towels shrink and shrivel around the edges. Is there special care or can you wash and dry them in washer and dryer?
I made this today. Easy and fun!
This is a beautiful video...Please tell me the name of that cutting tool you use. I have GOT to get one o those. I'm getting into art and crafts and need to stock up on my tools, and that is definitely one for the batch.

Can't wait to do this. Thank you so much for sharing.
I like Jenny because she is left handed. I am constantly looking for left handed rotary cutting tutorials. I never know if I'm cutting correctly. They are hard to find. However, she used both hands here.

Thanks! Thanks! And thanks again! I was looking for a tutorial for this type of adjustable apron and here it is! And so easy to make! Have a great day! 😎🌸
They are the biggest tea towels I've ever seen! They could be crib sheets. :)
The tea towel is about 20 inches by 28 inches ; your crib is very small :)
Very nice and easy
What size is the tea towel? Maybe I missed this but there are different sized tea towels. Thanks
Gail she mentioned in a response to someone named Margaret that the tea towels measure 20 by 28 in ... I hope that helps
Thanks, I missed that.
Can you use a length of ribbon for the straps?
Tell Stella I need one !! Make a pocket for straws ! Several straws !!!
Where can I find the type novelty fabric you used for your ironing board cover or even the apron pocket?
I did this. I didn’t think it would fit, but it did.
What are the dimensions of your tea towels?
You are very skillful !
Hi Jenny, where do you find the tea towels you used for the aprons please?
@missouriQuiltCo Did you use Linen or cotton tea towels? Christmas presents all sorted with this lovely idea. Thankyou!
