Need that Slipknot + Mudvayne + Mushroomhead tour to happen. :-D
Yes worldwide tour!
i would love to see that tour it would be off the chain.
Or even if we’re lucky...
An Album.
I've seen them multiple times and amazing performance. I was lucky enough to see them perform in a 300 capacity limit show in Detroit in a bar. The stage was so small and it came up to your knees in front row. The band was within arm reach. It was insane!
Slipknot/Mushroomhead/GWAR/MuDvAyNe/Band Of Orcs
I sold my car to see Mudvayne in 2008. I'm in a great place in life right now, but I'd sell a car again to see them.
Holy shit dude
people, please don't sell your cars to see " scary clowns" walking around onstage
You sir are an inspiration lol going for my 3rd time on 26th but ive never sold a car to see them. Tho with times n having to move like right after the show id be tempted. almost. haha not. have an 02 Civic Si EP3 and an 00 CRV RD1 awd 5spd. what did you sell to see them might i ask?
As it turns out, I will not be seeing MuDvAyNe on the 26th but Breaking Benjamin instead. Oh well had my 2 shows with MuDvAyNe... haven't seen BB. Hope Chad and crew pull through.
@@leom7 lol don't tell people how to enjoy life
I know I’m getting old when I get nostalgia from these stories
Remember summer of 2000? That was a great time for music.
We grew up but we didn't grow old!
@@peyotepete4903 Agreed man
I’m getting pretty old too, but I’m still going!
@@scottenosh4548 i was -5 years old, but i'm defo here for the music
I saw Mudvayne with Slipknot, Rammstein and System of a Down in San Diego... BEST show I ever went to!
Sounds awesome. I've heard that SOAD isn't very good live, though? Or at least not as energetic as one might imagine.
Slipknot alone was effing mind blowing for me. You sir.. had one good day.
@@BasedRanger That tour was in 2001, so it was peak, best time for soad and other bands in list as well
@@jasondoolin6476 Thinking this was almost 18 years ago
@@BasedRanger Not the show i was at. They were ON FIRE. Rammstein was defiantly the strangest show by far!
Ryan Martinie is the reason I picked up the bass guitar. I know, I know... *BR BR DENG BR BR DENG* ... but if you actually pay attention to the rest of their catalog, he's incredibly talented. Very underrated.
Ryan is a monster of a bass player. Slowly faded away as MuDvAyNe progressed.
Soften the glare really displays his talent.
Pharmacopias intro bassline is juicy
I haven't listened to mudvayne in awhile but I'm pretty sure the song nothing to gain had a amazing baseline but is been like 2 years
He’s like the flea of metal.. i was already playing bass when LD 5.0 came out but he opened my mind to trying something different on bass.. which was cool for a 15-16 year old.. hehe! So i totally know what you mean!
@@nordimejia5790 honestly his talents got better as Mudvayne went on. The skills he shows in Soften the Glare started showing up in Lost and Found, got better in A New Game, and are extremely present in the Self-titled. Everyone only thinks LD 50, but that's really his most sloppy work. I encourage everyone to go back to all the albums and really listen to his play style, and how it evolves over time. Even watch bass cover videos to really get the idea of it.
Grew up listening to Mudvayne and up until now LD50 is still on heavy rotation but I never thought I'd be able to see them live again. This is a dream come true

Very excited to see Chad,Greg, Matt, and Ryan back on stage doing their thing!!! Mudvayne has always been a very special band for me. I fell in love with LD 50 when I was 13 years old, and 20 (goddamn lol) years later it still holds such a special place in my heart. Can’t wait to see it! Cheers dudes! \m/

i can imagine that sit down went somthing like "Look the world may be ending, its now or never boys!"
Probably ran out of money
@@manager4409 Lol right, because HellYeah isnt a thing or anything
Met the Bassist while being an extra on one their videos. He was super nice and so cool! He wanted to know more about the fans than we did him.
Dig was great, but Death Blooms is what hooked me. Buying the End of All Things DVD, seeing how rough of a tour they had, was eye opening. Bands at that point weren’t supposed to have it rough. One show they would basically be on at 2pm, playing to 100 fans who looked bored, and the next day they would be playing for thousands in a stadium and that were loving it.
I’ve hung out with Ryan Martinie twice when he played at our old bar we no longer have. He was playing with his instrumental band soften the glare. He definitely seemed he wanted a reunion even though I tried not to bring up Mudvayne. So glad to be able hear that bass rig live again but in the first band.
3:31 "More on that later". Never mentions this again
Somewhere again he mentions it, maybe 4:30 but not really explaining
MUDVAYNE and slipknot played together in 99. It was amazing
I was at that show at Harpos in Detroit. I didn’t even know who Slipknot was, Mudvayne came on stage just blasting “Dig” and we thought that was Slipknot!?! 🤷♂️😂
I was at the show at Celebrity Theater in Phoenix. It was absolutely, hands down, without question one of the best shows I've been to! Cheers!
Yeah and they threw shit at them because slipknot didn't come first, and were angry.
Saw that show at the 930 club in DC. Fuckin epic.
So glad someone went and talked with them Finally some good news.
“It was NO one person, we all have faults.” I’m glad to hear that from a musician 👨🎤 he sounds EXTREMELY mature.
Ahh Mudvayne. I remember downloading "Dig" on my friends dial up connection. Took like 4 hours. Was worth it.
Dude, your not wrong. I remember getting my 1st ipod & going over to a buddies house to use thier dial up to download songs off of Limewire. Good times.
A new *Mudvayne* album *(in either 2021.or 2022)* would probably the most awesome thing to happen.
It's COMING!
Every band needs a break some bands never even get back together after breaking up so for Mudvayne to come back after a very long Hiatus and maybe even make a new album is beyond exciting and a huge blessing to all fans of rock metal and for all Mudvayne fans.
same stuff with some couples.
sometimes a break is needed to realize you're good on your own.
@@teacherfromthejungles6671 yeah that's right I've always been single and I like keeping it that way cause I get to do what i want when I want to and I don't have to share my time with anyone but my dogs.
@@TETRARCHJeffUnstableFreak if it works for you, that's OK.
@@teacherfromthejungles6671 yeah thanks you gotta do what's best for you in life to be as happy as you can be same with anyone else no matter who you are or what you do.
@@TETRARCHJeffUnstableFreak I was in several bands and there's always a moment you realize that you can't do that anymore. Either the genre doesn't seem cool (like it was with metalcore and deathcore back in the day), or simply because life happened. Moving to study or to work far from your band mates certainly won't do any good for a band. But you have to always keep in mind that there are things bigger than us.
The first time I saw this band was on a DVD given to me by my drum teacher. I was so traumatised watching Dig and also fell in love with the double bass work and what not. These guys are the reason I started playing double bass and go nuts with grooves. So great to see them back.
I get chills just hearing someone say “L.D. 50”
Greg asked Chad if he wanted to go on hiatus for 12 years and he was like...Hell Yeah.
I see what you did, there. 😁😎
Ha....

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL (You can just repeat that until you pass out.) Fantastic Ben. Just fantastic. I can not applaud you enough for that one. You are Legendary.
Im so glad that they coming back I remember have LD 50 ALBUM In high school I liked them better than slipknot
They came through Austin and I worked a show they played. I've worked many shows of all types of hands, musicians, some famous, some not so famous...Mudvayne were the most humble, friendly, well mannered nice guys I've ever been around in the industry. Their personalities really stand out with that integrity.
They’ve played together before,
The Pledge of allegiance tour:
• Slipknot
• System of a Down
• Mudvayne
• Ramstein
• Nothing Face
Also Ozzfest 2001 and Tattoo The Earth tour
And then 9/11 happened, and I never got to see that show. That sucked.
Nothingface was not on the Pledge of Allegiance Tour
@@vanillagodzilla420 you’re right, it was “no one.”
them and sevendust are the hands down most underrated bands in metal history.
100%
And don’t forget nothingface! They’re also great :D
and chevelle, I totally forgot them.
@@nomad1517 oh yeah Chevelle is a great band. Their riffs and melodies are godlike. My early teen years were basically defined by them lol. As well as my current ones tbh. They’re just an all-around solid metal band. I like to consider the clincher to be an anthem of mine.
@PIZZA yea bro so what we have our own opinions about the bands we love, as all people do. What’s the harm in thinking that more people should know about certain bands? Glad you’re entertained tho lmao.
I saw Biohazard, Slipknot and Mudvayne in 99 at the Quest in Minneapolis. I was there for Biohazard, but Mudvayne was my favorite part of the night.
Mudvayne was my daughter's 1st concert out of the womb.
That was worded so weird...
@@GorlicBreadz I say that because when I was 6 months pregnant I saw Paul McCartney and my daughter started moving and kicking around when he played Band on the Run. When I was 8 months pregnant I saw Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth. Lol

Honestly Mudvayne was one of the bands that got away. They recorded real great tracks and played even better live
He mentioned NothingFace...they always deserved more and Matt is one of my all time favorite vocalists...RIP Matt Holt.
I fwacking adore this band. Best vocals eva. So much pain and anquise yet a truly beautiful singing voice. Love these guys
As a bassist, I was baptized over and over by LD.50, The End of All Things To Come, and Happy. 2021 will be a great year marked by the reunion of Mudvayne! \m/

We need a 90' reunion tour. Slipknot, Mudvayne, Static-x, MushroomHead, Coal Chamber, Korn ect.
I saw Mudvayne in 2004 or so in Chico, CA. To this day it is still the best metal concert I have ever been to. The sound was perfect, they were all on point, the energy was through the roof... and to add just the smallest detail for my own dumb 17 year old self at the time, Ryan pointed at me and gave me the horns during my favorite song Know Forever.. The smallest moment in time I will never ever forget.
Towards the end he mentions them being from(515)Iowa(sic).. Mudvayne is from Illinois.
Decatur and Peoria to be exact.
he says at the beginning they're from Peoria, Illinois
I saw Mudvayne tour for L.D. 50 with Slipknot on their self titled tour. It was epic. I hope they return with full on L.D. 50 aesthetic- Maybe tweaked a little for 2021.
That was my first concert. 8th grade me had no clue how amazing that is for a first show.
They're back! Yeah baby that's what I've been waiting for that's what it's all about wooooo!
I caught Mudvayne and SlipKnot at Rockville 2021. As someone who had Mudvayne on his metal starter card, It was surreal to be there.
I'm so happy that Mudvayne is back!!! And i hope for a new record too or at least couple of new songs!!
Was lucky enough to see them twice (‘02 and ‘03). They put on one hell of a show! Sure do miss that band!

My first time hearing Mudvayne was when they opened for Slipknot in the spring 2000. Luckily I got to see them 2 more times before LD50 was released in August and then I saw them 3 times on their following headline tour! Damn...it took me posting this to realize I saw them 6 times that year!
Was that Ozzfest 2000 ?
I seen them together then outside D.C.
@@jamesjoseph5707 nope, this was in the spring and a headline show of Slipknot. Neither band played Ozzfest that year, they did Tattoo The Earth. I think Ozzfest 2001 had Slipknot and Mudvayne

Chad is an underrated vocalist
His voice is trash on the last albums.
@Jay Jakeway The last albums sound like shit because his voice is gone. LD 50 he was at full power👍
He's never been a great singer but he's an excellent frontman.
Saw mudvayne at Ohio stadium with Metallica, limp bizkit, linkin park, and deftones. Summer sanitarium tour kicked ass!!!!!!
So glad I got a chance to see MUDVAYNE in OZZFEST 01.
