L.D. 50 had almost every metal genre (Thrash, Death, Groove and Nu) and it sounded fucking great! Too bad they never stuck with that style after their second album, cause they would have had so many years of success!
I didn't know Mudvayne till I saw them live at Rock am Ring as they filled in for Slipknot (20 years ago). It was so awesome and I really fell in love with his playstyle and variation of techniques. He is one of the best bassists the world has seen so far IMO.

Man, Ryan is in my top 5 best metal bassists ever. And he's such an awesome dude too. The first show I ever saw was back in like 2002? Mudvayne, American Head Charge, Rammstein and Slipknot. On a side not, probably the best line up I've ever been to, but for a first concert, I was lucky. Anyways, waited maybe 3 hours after the show outside the tour buses and wanted an autograph from anyone I could find, the only autograph I got was a couple from Slipknot and Ryan from Mudvayne. I mean he was out there until the last fan was gone signing shit and shooting the breeze about random stuff. Super cool guy and will always love Mudvayne because of that.

People are so idiotic with their negative comments, all I hear from the dude is positive things towards Fieldy and the band, they have respect for each other. Fieldy is a good bassist and he fits in the KoRn sound (which was somewhat lost because of Ray) every player is unique and it wouldn't sound the same if you replace an ORIGINAL member of a band, people will like it or hate it, Fieldy is a great bassist for KoRn's sound because he was there from the beginning, just because someone has better playing abilities doesn't mean they can easily replace the original sound.
Tightest rhythm section KoRn ever had -coming from a huge David fan but man, the audio doesn't lie. Ryan and Ray are pinpoint accurate together. Two super seasoned musicians right there.
He understands what Fieldy actually holds to KoRn. That style is hard to replicate. And not recreating a certain sound is just as difficult as the hardest riff. Equal. Some users don't understand that here.
You can tell Luzier was psyched to play with somebody on his skill level. Fieldy is Fieldy and I love him, but Ryan Martinie is such a monster musician and Ray was feeling that. Would have loved to see Head in this lineup too.

Ryan is one of my top 10 new-school bass guys. He's an AMAZING player both technicality and groove-wise. His stage presence is absolutely over the top. Super humble, always an engaging interview. Plus, just watch him play. He commands your attention. You have no choice but to watch him.
I would have loved to see that show. Not a real big fan of newer Korn but still one of my all time favorite bands. And Ryan is a great bassist. One of the best in my opinion
Ryan is simply a serious level and talented bass player. Fieldy is sick and earned himself a place in the Rock Bassists Hall of Fame, but Ryan's own baselines are well constructed and complex. SUCH A WICKED HUMBLE PERSONALITY!
I don't know why anyone would be disappointed in Ryan filling in. Those are some of the best concerts because they're unique. Only the people in that audience on that night get to experience that show. All the others are the same. Like when I saw Soulfly back in the day. They performed Bleed with members of Hed pe and Snot, as well as Max Cavalera's son on stage. It can never again be performed the same way and I feel lucky to have seen it.
As far as I’m concerned, Ryan is the best bassist in all of metal. The dude is just incredible on the bass and a hell of a performer. Straight up beast. Mudvayne needs to make a comeback.

It's incredible seeing how a sheer bass genius like him can be so simple, so humble. He is one of the best nu-metal bass player ever - maybe the best - an yet so modest. I'm not quite sure that Korn guys really understood how lucky they were to have such an incredible and talented guy jump in for them. This guy really is my bass idol.

As far as I’m concerned, Ryan is the best bassist in all of metal. The dude is just incredible on the bass and a hell of a performer. Straight up beast. Mudvayne needs to make a comeback.

It’s beautiful that he’s so mindful of the fans who are there for korn and that he’s a part of the show. I’m so glad mudvayne is back together. He deserves it. He’s a beautiful person. I wish he painted his face to represent. But we can’t all have what we want.

It's incredible seeing how a sheer bass genius like him can be so simple, so humble. He is one of the best nu-metal bass player ever - maybe the best - an yet so modest. I'm not quite sure that Korn guys really understood how lucky they were to have such an incredible and talented guy jump in for them. This guy really is my bass idol.

Ryan seems like one of the most humble human beings on the planet.
Ryan seems like such a modest, genuinely friendly dude, with none of that arrogant self importance some musicians get when they're in big bands. If I met him and didn't know any better, I'd honestly think he was just an average dude who plays in a local band.

Korn is amazing live! Just saw Mudvayne a few months back. It was great to see them play again and Ryan was as active as ever.
I love both band so much. Both of which have helped me through the most low points of my life with there music.💯🤘
