Censorship is the least rock n roll thing I could possible imagine.
It’s UA-cams fault. If you want videos now, deal with extreme censorship
@Lucas Sonny not if you want money, my friend. I'm researching to open a youtube channel and you can't add ads to adult videos or things like that. Modern censorship is here :(

Manson's traumatic life as described in this video: he grew up in a stable two parent household, went to high school, moved to Florida with his family, did some journalism, and rose to stardom in music. I am barely holding my tears in.
😂 I love your sarcasm, but you're absolutely right. why should we feel sorry for someone with a stable upbringing with a seemingly perfect life to become the devil? it's frivolous and egocentric.
one thing is certain. Marilyn Manson is LOST, losing his power and privilege.
Stable for the most part. However, I can totally see how the family Dynamics would contribute to him being this way: the distant absent father, the clingy, controlling mother, disturbing sexual experiences, a strict religious school and he feels like everything is fake. Sounds like a recipe for BPD.
@@lilafeldman8630 everyone has a somewhat distant father in early childhood (the man normally has added pressure to provide once he has a child), which leaves all the responsibility of raising the child to the mother, thus making her hover. It’s EXTREMELY common

First of all, the dudes that shot up columbine hated his music. It's true.

Bryan Garcia because it’s so much easier to blame so,ebony with a bright make up and closer geographically than some ‘mysterious’ band named Rammstein which doesn’t even sing in English, so we can’t really say that they knew German and it affected them’. No, of course Rammstein and KMFDM did not affect them. Eric was a smart, but BULLIED TO HELL guy who in his own barely 18 years could very well understand German. It’s his ‘not belonging’ and being from the East Coast basically and not from ‘some’ Colorado made him the object of the bullies. There is too much more to mention. Try reading over 26 books on the subject matter in various languages. But no. Sadly, that day in Chicago MM knew that they would make him a scapegoat....Bastards.

He went on The O’Reilly Factor and talked about the shooting, how he got blamed for it, and his feelings on it. It was a really great interview.
Not sure if I’ve ever heard any of his music but I can definitely relate too his childhood. I grew up in a religious household being told what I can and can’t Say, play, watch, or listen too and forced to go to church. In the end I ended up the opposite of what they wanted. Not saying they all are but I’d rather be a sinner than a toxic Christian.

Marilyn Manson is an iconic musician and man. I believe he is honestly a good person. His music is one of a kind. His latest masterpiece, We Are Chaos, is his best work to date. Let's love him, not hate him.
I used to but not anymore
He is a good person, nobody can tell me different, and make me believe nor change my mind and intuition, about him!
Marilyn Manson is a lyrical GENIUS and a BRILLIANT performance art creationist. If you think it's just an act or a show. READ HIS LYRICS. To me he is a modern day philosopher and has a very keen grasp of the hypocrisy we continue to live in!
Or read his autobiography The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell. That should do it the trick for anyone who still thinks it's "all just an act" haha
When I was 17 and in high school. I got put into a mental hospital because of the columbine incident. I always dress in black and was a huge fan of Marilyn Manson. That shit trickled down more than people think. I can only imagine how bad it was for him 😞
Charon Christ I feel u. I was a Manson fan, but Columbine got a lot of friends of mine railroaded in psych evaluations n demonizing. They were the outcasts who were more inclined to hurting themselves over anyone else. Then suddenly 2 murderous good ol’ boys from Colorado who HATED Manson whose dads worked at Lockheed Martin made their lives 20x harder. It was just not fair.
Same situation wit myself... I was burdened wit an extremely harsh anxiety disorder at 14yrs old bc of colombine happened, then a buncha assholes took it upon themselves to call in bomb threats every other day to my school, n that was the start of kids bringing weapons to school instead of using their dam fists like I always did wen I had a prob wit sumone... It was meet me at the flagpole after school for sum good ol fashioned face to fist ass whoopins, lol! Anyways.. so anyone else out there in there 30s now like me who myt have developed any type a social or mental disorder cuz those fukn asswipes-Trust me u r certainly not alone out there, ok?! N MARILYN MANSON DID THE EXACT SAME FOR ME 2! HE GAVE ME PEACE OF MIND, COURAGE, STRENGTH, HOPE, FAITH IN HUMANITY (ONLY A SELECT FEW!), N HE LET ME FIND MY IDENTITY!
n to this day... I'm still an alien to my surroundings, n I am still an oddity of the natural, a lover of the unordinary & extraordinary, & my only regret regarding that of Manson... Is that I never got the opportunity n privilege to meet such a great man & artist! N I hope that 1day b4 I leave this Earth, I get the joy of talking wit him in person sumtym.
I don’t even like his type of music i pretty much just listen to rappers like travis Scott Kendrick Lamar and all those guys. But I realize he’s actually a super intelligent guy and I never make jokes about the “emo” kids like him while the kids around me did and it’s literally just another genre of music not some violent school shooting encouraging thing. People never see the other side of things and that he should be seen as a normal safe person not a creepy weirdo.
I was like 10/11 and a manson fan and ya... Felt the heat from it too... It trickled down is right.... I blame the media cause literally looking back now it's the parents and all their extracurricular activities (hard drugs) could have been prevented by the parents their ability to get their hands on weapons falls on the parents... And having those two boys checked for mental illnesses and keeping up with it falls on the parents Marilyn Manson is not responsible for what those two boys did that day and it killed me when I found out that he was blamed.... And open the door to unrelenting torment for me
Horrible...just because of the way you dress, and music you listen...
Marilyn Manson is actually Very intelligent
He still is to this day, my favorite artist. Politically I don't see eye to eye with him and after Golden Age think he turned to shit. With having a few sporadic hits here or there. He came at the perfect time in my life, in High School. First song I heard of him was on my sister's mix cd, Dope Show. Then her friend made me a Mix MP3 CD with all of manson's albums and some other acts on there, KORN and want to say Sinister Urge. I remember really gravitating towards Manson for some odd reason more so than Korn or Rob Zombie. He was a lyrical genius.
Manson wrote a book called “The long hard road out of hell” which tells you everything you’ll ever want to know about him.
At the end he confirms rumors and also denies other rumors. I read it back in 2006 and it’s actually a really great book.
He did not have a hard life at all. Typical mid American upbringing.
Hell yeah!! I read Long Hard Road Out of Hell, from cover to cover!! It's a wonderful read & gives so much information that this video neglects to mention! That title perfectly describes my life, so far.

One reason kids get so angry they kill, they are not liked at school. The other kids pick on them and make fun of them. After years of treatment like that will turn to hate. This hate will turn deadly when some event triggers a thought that if they take out revenge on that day it will not be forgotten. That way every year that day they will be remembered and bring pain to the ones left behind. So remember to be kind and take time to help out the not so popular kids.

It’s funny that since 1995 (as a Christian), I could relate to this man. He’s articulate, smart, quick witted, open minded and humorous. His point of view helped me realize that it’s okay to think differently & go against the status quo. I disagree with his personal views of God, Jesus, Christianity, etc. but realized that we have similar things in common. I have always known that Catholic robes, chanting rituals & preaching the gospel means nothing when kids are being molested behind closed doors; without justice being served through the court system. Who sees that hypocrisy & wants to be a part of that? Not too many people; & those that do should have a lot of questions & hesitation. He disagrees with hypocrisy, religion as a bunch of rules to follow & religious rituals that have nothing to do with believing in God. And guess what? Jesus disagrees with those very same things.
This is very true. If you look at Jesus' life, who did he get angry with? The hypocritical religious leaders of the time. Who did he hang out with most? Tax collectors and sinners. The church is doing it wrong. It's not about religion, it's about a relationship.
He's Jewish.
Same
I agree with you man as a Christian my self i never understood the fancy robes, statues, etc. It all seemed like a put together without the actual message of Jesus, like a show of sorts without the plot.
What would you say to the kids in Columbine?
- I wouldn’t say a word I would listen,
- Marilyn Manson
He is literally the most intelligent and inspiring person I've heard speak.
He’s literally a weirdo
@@marcospintor1333 weirder the better!!!
'relatively unknown in the 90's???!' BRUH....The 90's were his heyday wtf are you talking about
Yeah, that's what I was thinking!! Lmao!
He meant before he blew up, the spooky kids days.
Censorship makes the video almost unwatchable. Whole sections of the video I couldn't understand what was trying to be said.
bwhit1987 thats youtubers fault because they make swearing a violation of their community guidelines
@@thephilosopher1663 then just use different terminology?
Marilyn Manson's view on on politics, the media, and religious organizations were dead on and aged perfectly.
I used to observe my grandma as a kid, when she was having manic episodes about the "vietnamese taking all her chairs from the lawn" ...
I could've been Marilyn Manson, dude...
I met him several years ago after a show. When I hang out with musicians I rarely talk about music..unless its something other than metal. Most of the conversation was over my job and all the places I have traveled. He was genuinely kind and extremely smart.
I can see Brian finishing his career just interviewing artist ,that would be awesome !
I couldn’t agree more. Maybe we will get one or two more albums and he will just be in his 60s interviewing rock artist. Who knows. Only time will tell!
@@darkersideofmagic9892 A FOX counterpoint talk show. . . . ha ha
Makes sense. He even knows what's going on in modern hip-hop.
Didn't he start out being a music journalist?
I’m a Christian and I listen to Marilyn Manson. It’s the very story religious people who take every single thing out of the Bible and follow it. I just don’t role like that I read the Bible but I don’t take everything so seriously in it. I love how Marilyn Manson is not afraid to be himself. That’s what I love about him.
I guess what I am trying to say is that u can be Christian and listen to rock. I don’t think it’s the work of the devil.
Christianity is utterly incompatible with Marilyn Manson. If you're not going to take your holy book seriously, then why even read it? Be honest with yourself. On the one hand, you believe the Bible is the perfect word of God, and on the other you don't take it seriously. Do you see how hypocritical that is?
If you're going to ignore the Bible, then what's the point of being Christian? Just do what any sane person would do... Deconvert from religion altogether, and start thinking for yourself.
I don't know how you're able to keep these incompatible ideas in your head simultaneously without the cognitive dissonance giving you a permanent headache. Marilyn Manson is an abusive and sick man, and that is reflected in his music. Jesus was about love and kindness, and Marilyn Manson is the opposite of that.
There are good parts in the Bible, like the Gospels for example. But those golden nuggets are buried in mountains of shit. You need to have discernment and know what parts to ignore, and that goes for any religion. Eat the grapes but spit the seeds out.
@@adamn.4111 thanks for reading my comment I understand what u are saying but I also don’t agree with every little word the Bible says and u don’t have to read the Bible or go to church to believe in god or give your life to god I don’t believe in everything marlin Manson does I only listen to a few songs of his not all of his music is dark some of it is about growing up and the hard ships of life trust me I don’t need a random stranger to say I don’t have a great relationship with god because honey I do I am not a hard core strict Christian I believe in my god and I believe that Jesus died on the cross for everyone’s sins I believe in the prayer to give yourself to god I believe in a heaven and a hell I believe in angles. Not all Christians are the same and I don’t agree with some hard core christians because those hard-core Christians believe that only men and women can be together but I believe that love is love and men and men can be together women and women can be together and vice versa and I believe that God loves each and everyone of his children he has created whether Gay bisexual lesbian transgender all of the above if you believe that your God loves you and you believe in yourself and who you are and trust the lord I believe that makes you a Christian.
He literally prefers to be called by his artist name instead of his given name; which indicates there is no separating the art from the artist.
No there is not in this case. I look forward to him hopefully being in prison for the rest of his life where he can watercolor all he wants.
According to the artist's own discourse.
too bad I'm still gonna separate it and enjoy his music
Too bad, I don't care
There is absolutely NO point in sensoring, just stop, please!
The Outcasts there’s no point in spelling “censoring” wrong either dumb dumb
@@GreenDaykid224 true, being that i had spell check XD
They cant upload this kind of subject material without censoring or UA-cam will remove it due to new policies
@@katdee224 Yeah they can, just use different words, or explain the point in a way which censoring wouldn't be required. Either way, it's UA-cam that has all the strict regulations anyway.
Metal Mandala you can say shooting lol. i’m pretty sure you can say killed as well. they have cut back on people cursing but plenty of people do it and still get monetized.
Real good job censoring the whole thing...
They demonetized your video so you decide to make it unwatchable...?
Have a backbone.
