      Stable for the most part. However, I can totally see how the family Dynamics would contribute to him being this way: the distant absent father, the clingy, controlling mother, disturbing sexual experiences, a strict religious school and he feels like everything is fake. No, of course Rammstein and KMFDM did not affect them. Eric was a smart, but BULLIED TO HELL guy who in his own barely 18 years could very well understand German. It’s his ‘not belonging’ and being from the East Coast basically and not from ‘some’ Colorado made him the object of the bullies. There is too much more to mention. Try reading over 26 books on the subject matter in various languages. But no. Sadly, that day in Chicago MM knew that they would make him a scapegoat....Bastards.

      Charon Christ I feel u. I was a Manson fan, but Columbine got a lot of friends of mine railroaded in psych evaluations n demonizing. They were the outcasts who were more inclined to hurting themselves over anyone else. Then suddenly 2 murderous good ol’ boys from Colorado who HATED Manson whose dads worked at Lockheed Martin made their lives 20x harder. It was just not fair.

I was burdened wit an extremely harsh anxiety disorder at 14yrs old bc of colombine happened, then a buncha assholes took it upon themselves to call in bomb threats every other day to my school, n that was the start of kids bringing weapons to school instead of using their dam fists like I always did wen I had a prob wit sumone... It was meet me at the flagpole after school for sum good ol fashioned face to fist ass whoopins, lol! Anyways.. so anyone else out there in there 30s now like me who myt have developed any type a social or mental disorder cuz those fukn asswipes-Trust me u r certainly not alone out there, ok?! N MARILYN MANSON DID THE EXACT SAME FOR ME 2! HE GAVE ME PEACE OF MIND, COURAGE, STRENGTH, HOPE, FAITH IN HUMANITY (ONLY A SELECT FEW!), N HE LET ME FIND MY IDENTITY!
      n to this day... I'm still an alien to my surroundings, n I am still an oddity of the natural, a lover of the unordinary & extraordinary, & my only regret regarding that of Manson... Is that I never got the opportunity n privilege to meet such a great man & artist! N I hope that 1day b4 I leave this Earth, I get the joy of talking wit him in person sumtym.

I blame the media cause literally looking back now it's the parents and all their extracurricular activities (hard drugs) could have been prevented by the parents their ability to get their hands on weapons falls on the parents... And having those two boys checked for mental illnesses and keeping up with it falls on the parents Marilyn Manson is not responsible for what those two boys did that day and it killed me when I found out that he was blamed.... He came at the perfect time in my life, in High School. First song I heard of him was on my sister's mix cd, Dope Show. Then her friend made me a Mix MP3 CD with all of manson's albums and some other acts on there, KORN and want to say Sinister Urge. This hate will turn deadly when some event triggers a thought that if they take out revenge on that day it will not be forgotten. That way every year that day they will be remembered and bring pain to the ones left behind. So remember to be kind and take time to help out the not so popular kids.

    It’s funny that since 1995 (as a Christian), I could relate to this man. He’s articulate, smart, quick witted, open minded and humorous. His point of view helped me realize that it’s okay to think differently & go against the status quo. I disagree with his personal views of God, Jesus, Christianity, etc. but realized that we have similar things in common. I have always known that Catholic robes, chanting rituals & preaching the gospel means nothing when kids are being molested behind closed doors; without justice being served through the court system. Who sees that hypocrisy & wants to be a part of that? Not too many people; & those that do should have a lot of questions & hesitation. He disagrees with hypocrisy, religion as a bunch of rules to follow & religious rituals that have nothing to do with believing in God. And guess what? Jesus disagrees with those very same things.

    • @audio_jake

      This is very true. If you look at Jesus' life, who did he get angry with? The hypocritical religious leaders of the time. Who did he hang out with most? Tax collectors and sinners. The church is doing it wrong. It's not about religion, it's about a relationship.

    I’m a Christian and I listen to Marilyn Manson. It’s the very story religious people who take every single thing out of the Bible and follow it. I just don’t role like that I read the Bible but I don’t take everything so seriously in it. I love how Marilyn Manson is not afraid to be himself. That’s what I love about him.

    • @adamn.4111
      @adamn.4111 2 роки тому +1

      Christianity is utterly incompatible with Marilyn Manson. If you're not going to take your holy book seriously, then why even read it? Be honest with yourself. On the one hand, you believe the Bible is the perfect word of God, and on the other you don't take it seriously. Do you see how hypocritical that is?
      If you're going to ignore the Bible, then what's the point of being Christian? Just do what any sane person would do... Deconvert from religion altogether, and start thinking for yourself.
      I don't know how you're able to keep these incompatible ideas in your head simultaneously without the cognitive dissonance giving you a permanent headache. Marilyn Manson is an abusive and sick man, and that is reflected in his music. Jesus was about love and kindness, and Marilyn Manson is the opposite of that.
      There are good parts in the Bible, like the Gospels for example. But those golden nuggets are buried in mountains of shit. You need to have discernment and know what parts to ignore, and that goes for any religion. Eat the grapes but spit the seeds out.
