- Ultraman ARC has been announced... and I had no idea it was even a thing! The Teaser though has me intriged about this future season. What is your thoughts on this teaser and are you excited to watch it? Also, would anyone want me to react to Arc when it comes out or even Blazer to catch up while waiting for this new show! No you're not alone and that's for a good reason. At most all we had was pretty much was the trademark there was no leaks or anything. Basically when the trailer dropped that was all we got.
As for if you should catch up Blazar. Yes in my opnion its good.
Blazar is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT it’s a must-watch to the very end, especially in the ENG dub

For the context, Ultraman arc theme is imagination like kiramager , you can read the synopsis for the show and it will be like the typical normal Ultraman series rather than serious like blazar

Yeah, and his ancient presence is so special. His grunts and wild style of fighting is so unique.
The changer look like zyuohger with the whole cube and rubik cube gimmick. The suit looks like retro reimagine shows ultraman kind of like the stand alone ultraman max. It used the classic ultraman font for its title logo and its weapon is based on ultra seven changer.
Like one of those staple guns that looks like an actual space gun lol

Jeff Pruitt, a old power ranger stunt coordinator posted a few bts videos of how Dairanger mecha footage was filmed in Japan stage with the miniatures a decade ago on his UA-cam channel. Think there’s a lot of Godzilla bts footage from the official studio as well. Might need to be as big as Yoshi Sudarso in order to get that tour of the set. All we usually see are the actors and their adr voiceover, but the stunts actors, set designer, and practical effect designer deserve a lot of credit too. They’re the ones that probably work the longest in these companies and the ones that shows up the earliest and leave the latest. That’s why they’re probably compensated more while the attractive leads get the fame recognition on their resume.
Yeah I tried to get into blazar but I couldn't. I mean the design of blazar was nice but I didn't feel drawn into the show. I do like the look and feel of arc and taking it back to the showa era. I can't wait to see the digest before the show starts. I'm curious to see who else is in the show and to see a better look of arc and yuma. The changer is called Arc riser and Arc cube.
Actually it surprised me as well. I don't recall seeing any teaser images for Arc. I guess tsuburaya wanted it to be a surprise

I have been looking at people's reaction to the trailer, but in Asia or at least China everyone seem to not like the new ultraman look me included and the fact that so many sound effect seem to be reused and that cg looking pretty bad I am not hopeful.

Arc is like a Homage or a son of Ultraman Jack in my opinion.
You have to watch the Mebius ultra 8 brothers movie to complete Mebius even though it’s mainly told in alternate Tiga pov. It used to be the most profitable toku movie back in 2008.
Orb is the only real bromance series recently. However, Gaia kind of went there for the early 2000 bromance and r/b for non sibling rivalry. Gaia even got raia’s actor as the second ultraman. The actor also later becomes ryuki, who got a steamy scene and implication in rider time.

One of the kinda petty reasons I never got into Ultraman earlier was the overly gimmicky transformation devices 😅I still prefer the more Sonic Screwdriver-types.
