This is actually a really fun idea. I’m not usually very good with thinking about these kinds of things but you’ve got my creative juices flowing so I have two ideas. 1: To solve the budget issue with underwater fights: rather than having most of the fights on the surface, you could make it so all the underwater cities are domed cities that have oxygen or normal land gravity (maybe through some magic or technology). Maybe only parts of the city are like this while others are purely underwater or there still is water everywhere but the artificial gravity keeps them on the ground for day-to-day life so things are more convenient (then they can jump and swim with wireworks at any time but still have the option for staying on the ground). Then all you need to do is digitally edit all the backgrounds to be underwater (either the entire setting would be fantasy like King-Ohger or they could use real location shooting but just edit in the dome and water over the sky, or just have an artificial sky like Terra Venture). The domes could also be hiding the cities from the outside, to explain how humans don’t know about them. Underwater city in an air bubble is a pretty common interpretation of these lost kingdoms (take Disney’s Atlantis) so I think this could work. 2: Rather than have one of the seven Rangers be human to conflict with the seven countries, I think you could have a human be an “eighth” Dark Ranger. They could either be connected working directly with the villains like Stacaesar and Abare Killer or more of an independent antagonistic force like Gaisoulg. My idea is that this Dark Ranger lost one or more loved ones (family, lover, best friend etc.) at sea and one of the Rangers was there. The Dark Ranger thinks that the Ranger was the one responsible for their loved one’s death (with the obvious twist that the Ranger was actually trying to save the loved one but failed, the Dark Ranger just misunderstood the situation) and seeks revenge on the Ranger, likely taking it too far and trying to destroy the other Rangers and their cities. It would be cool if either this Dark Ranger was whale themed or they’re sailor themed and the Ranger they want revenge on is whale themed as a clear Moby Dick reference. Then towards the end of the show, the Dark Ranger could either follow the classic Toku plot of learning that the truth about the past and giving up revenge to join the Rangers as a temporary Extra Hero or you could subvert expectations and have the Dark Ranger refuse to accept the truth and cling to the pointless revenge, leading to a sad death as the Rangers are forced to stop him as a lesson on the dangers and futility of revenge. These were just some random things that popped into my head after watching the video so I don’t know how good they actually are but figured I’d share them for fun.

Episode 45 I was like "Mira stop it, I already love you, you don't need to be more goated" lol Episode 46 It was Shirabe's turn to be goated with just one sentence (I seriously paused after she said that to take a breath), but Sakito and Jou were cool too in it and the three goons were mvp in the end Episode 47 I was thinking that Spinder would be succesful at putingt the ring to Mira, but I was thinking that Mira would be too strong to be controled (I mean, you know Mira), but the callback was great and the final henshin at the end bring so much hype.

15:31 The human antagonists in Boonboomger are just the worst kind of people, but at the same time, I do kind of like how on the nose the final lap is to reality at the moment. Even when it seems like everything is going horribly wrong, and everyone is your enemy, there are the ones like the Boonboomgers (Mira especially) who inspire hope that things can be better. The tackling of feelings that real people have makes this a better watch.

Yeah, the way they dealt with the BBG has been my only gripe with this show, and making it have to be extra content for it potentially is really sad. TTFC has been really good with all the (fanservicy) extra content even if some of it has subpar writing. But at this point in time I'll riot more if no Boonboomger content in the future has no Nicola or Shirabe transforming (Light blue and white respectively, I'm guessing?). The only Sentai to actually trigger me with unsolved plot points ever was DonBrothers. They explored zero about the Noto society, they didn't explain jack shit about their computer-simulation reality with premium currency bs, they delivered nothing about DonMurasame, they explained nothing about Zenkaizer Black. I absolutely loved the show and its comedy, but it barely answered a single question it raised.

I instinctively screamed "Horcrux!" when they showed Marine about to chomp the monke, and honestly, I was pretty much on the spot LMAO
