    Wow.. You are exactly right.I am guilty of doing this and I actually notice that deposit at the end; however, I usually take the excess at the free edge and cap it with that. Thanks so much for these tips!! I am new to gel polish and you put me right on track . Especially with started at the apex down first then the cuticle because I always start at the cuticle! I didn't realize we could push & pull cream gels and gel polish! GENIUS!

    Hey Liz, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for doing the fundamental videos. I am a 45 year old woman whom after watching Susie from NCE decided to go to nail school as I was so inspired by her. I saw you on one of her videos so decided to visit your channel, I am so thankful that I did. Liz, I am so saddened that the course, that I paid for, has not covered half of the fundamentals that you are covering for free. However, I am so grateful that you have done the structured, sequential videos that when you watch in order is like going to school. You are an amazing teacher and an inspiration. I just needed to let you know that If I hadn’t watched your videos I don’t think I would have the confidence to proceed in this career as I wasn’t getting good, consistent results. Thank you so much!

    Thank you for the video, this problem has been driving me mad, didn't realise it was me all along!. I get a dreadful feeling when someone asks me for any of the pale colours I have, as I have had streaking with them and the pooling at the end, despite the fact I have end capped it, in particular a pale blue I have. This didn't crop up when I trained, I suppose you get into naughty habits! I was so inspired by your video I got straight onto my trainer hand and was amazed at the difference, so I tried my only thumb nail and it also worked. Who knew that something so simple can make such a big difference, thank you so much.

    I have accidently found out that regular nail polish actually sticks on polygel! Currently it has been on for a week, no peeling. I just take lightly file off the shiny top before applying the polish. My question is ... why does it stick to polygel? Could it be that polygel has enough acrylic in the blend? I was so happy to find out this worked as I can never find my favorite sheer pink in gel polish.

      The smell and if it air dries. Most hybrids have a sort of nail polish smell. Gels usually smell more earthy or sweet. And also if the product gets tacky when merely exposed to air then its definitely got solvents in it.

  • @SheniceSays214
    @SheniceSays214 5 років тому +2

    • @dizzyrizzi6246

      Shenice Says She did do a video on this. She’s great. The tacky layer is just uncurled product because product that is exposed to oxygen doesn’t cure. That’s why you have to wipe it off. Hope that helps

Well, you gave me the confidence to try and your amazing tutorials gave me the knowledge to succeed. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart. I’m now doing family and friends and they prefer to come to me rather than go to their salon. Might be because it’s free😆. Hi! I’m curious, with gel polished out there which made it so much easier. Why are you still using the gels in the jars???BTW love your videos. Highly recommend and extremely educational.

    • @TheNailHub
      @TheNailHub  5 років тому +2

      Gel polish formulas aren't always good for nail art. Potted gels allow for you to use a different brush, different techniques, and also often are better for art. Gel polish is the more simplified product that was released as an alternative to regular nail polish. But true gels used for all kinds of things usually come in jars.
